What I can find in the way of dates: Began & ended OLTL, naturally. June 28, 1999 which I'm sure is right because the last AW broadcast was June 25, 1999. She left March 15, 2004. That's basically 4 years, 4 shows, although I know it was not even steven, that way.

Yabbut you also had Shapiro's Folly, and that was putting Linda Dano on all 4 shows. The HWs all hated it. And, the fans, well, some liked Myrtle being her mom. Some liked her with Eve. Some liked her with Skye. Some didn't like her at all. It is my surmise that if she'd put her on one damned show & left her there, she'd be there today. So, since this is that same woman, I am not surprised that she stupidly fired the golden Wendy Riche. Sorry then, I must be thinking of Anne Sweeney, Frons's boss.

Angela Shapiro fired her. I'm not sure anyone knows why. I know WR very graciously talked about it being time to move on, etc. Possibly it had been a mistake to try to EP the main show & PC at the same time. Stuff like that. Riche rocks!!!! Shapiro herself found the door pretty soon after.

That's why I said if they had wanted him back, they could have had him. They did not. Why? Because in the interim, nothing at all to do with NAC, they had this pow-wow about the Cassadines, and as we have seen with our own eyes, they have tabled that family for some unknown period of time. Now, I think this is clear.

I don't know when I've seen an adult as childish as she behaves! This character, yes, is a truly awful human being. I was just making the point that technically she was victimized by Ava. Ava is also totally wrong in this situation. But, Ava wanted to hurt Sonny & she didn't care about hurting Natalia and Blaze just to get to hurt Kristina, which is the way she hurt Sonny. Talk about ends justifying means! But, still, I understand the unpopularity of the "opinion", such as it is. There is a certain joie de vivre in Carly being arrested on Laura Wright's 3000th episode. Or am I just being perverse?

Taby is fierce and I love that about her, on top of everything else! She is courageous, a warrior princess.

No one is gonna like this. It may be the ultimate minority opinion. BUT, technically, Natalia IS a victim. She's a victim of Ava's. Ava took a recording of her, editing her own self out, and exposed her to the world.

The thing about Natalia, it seems to me, hinges entirely on whether they've got a redemptive arc coming up for her. She's not been given enough of the blame & that is apparently just going to stand but if she evolves & shows a bigot becoming no longer bigoted then they can keep her if that's their aim. Cates is just terminally stupid & he's been after Sonny & an ancient grudge this whole time. Jarly is something really special. I don't get why people are bothered at Kristina saying she's gay. IRL lots of times people say they are bi & it turns out to be a stage on a journey where gay is the ultimate destination. And, with that, July Sweeps is now over. Going by today Finola, Laura & Steve could all take Performer of the Month!

Recently both KeMo & Finola visited in Amsterdam. Could you possibly be thinking of some of those pix? Because, no, Geary has not traveled.

I am quite sure my thinking about it as a good sl comes from the acting. I loved David O'Brien as Steve on THE DOCTORS & then loved him again as Dr. Brian Glaser. Exceptionally good acting always gets me. As a matter of fact that is one thing that I love about soaps, getting so many chances to see actors we love give stratospherically excellent performances!!!
