  1. I heard Style on the radio for the first time the other day and I got SO excited. Too excited! lol Another extremely radio-friendly single. If they play their cards right, she might end up with five big hits from this album.
  2. Yeah, you never know how it will work out. Maybe it's what's needed. We'll see. I am here until the very end, too. Hopefully that won't come to pass for a while LOL
  3. Although it would be rather soapy.......
  4. BARF. I'm going to reserve judgment until it happens but... BARF.
  5. And I really should start Season 6... I just don't have the heart for it. Season 5 nearly broke my spirit! lol
  6. Thanks, Paul Raven. Fascinating. I never tire reading about Irna Phillips because drama followed everywhere she went. And it's always great to get a look behind the scenes of the fabulous anomaly that PEYTON PLACE is!
  7. DaytimeFan would probably be able to speak more accurately on this but I don't think he looks bad at all. The man is almost 60 years old and he's always had a round, full face which, with age, has become more prominent. Other than the redness, which might be perfectly normal, I think he still looks pretty darn hot.
  8. Unfortunately, the ratings don't look too good. 0.1 rating (same as last week) and 195,000 viewers (a slight increase). These don't seem like numbers that would warrant renewal. .Not being after GIRLS but rather after a new show has really hurt LOOKING. We might be looking at the last season
  9. lol You mean TOGETHERNESS?
  10. All this stuff is Marland, isn't it?
  11. Yep. I'm glad she seems to have realized she needs to tone it down, return to her earlier pop days and focus on that (or at least I hope her collaboration with RedOne implies that). She should beg Max Martin to work with her. I wonder if he would.
  12. Lady Gaga back to working with RedOne for her next album. Seems like a wise move. http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/pop-shop/6443520/lady-gaga-back-in-the-studio-with-redone
  13. SUPERGIRL has found its SUPERGIRL http://insidetv.ew.com/2015/01/22/supergirl-melissa-benoist/
  14. Thanks, that's what I thought -- a good ten minutes are missing. That's fine, glad to have what we have, just wondering.
  15. Thanks. I'll definitely try to find as much stuff from 1989/1990 as I can before moving to the rest, while also doing earlier stuff too. This was my mom's show in the 70s/early 80s, so I've always wanted to give it more attention. In the meantime, I did one of those 2000 episodes. Are those episodes edited/cut/not full? Because the running time certainly doesn't add up. Whoever that Danny guy is, I love him. Good actor, pretty good in his scenes with Michelle, and hot on top of that. I thought he and Michelle were adorable, although he seemed to carry more of the weight. Is that guy Tony his brother. That stuff was really crazy with the way he was dancing, completely unaware that the other lady was crying.
  16. Thanks, Dan, I'll check it out! 1991-1993 was a renaissance for the show, correct? Some even call it a golden era.
  17. He probably should have told the truth but I wasn't surprised the least bit that he didn't. As far as he knew at that point, Kevin was still keeping their relationship hidden and could potentially just end it all the next day. And here is Richie, the man he still has feelings for, and there's a chance he could say yes. I can at least understand why he did it. It's only later that Kevin made progress.
  18. Yes, go for it!
  19. Quick thanks for the responses, everyone! Seems you're all alone in this, NBA. I definitely need to explore GUIDING LIGHT more but wasn't sure if those 2000 episodes were a good era to sample. lol
  20. Great second episode. I really love Kevin & Patrick together (and their talk about the card game and Take That!) and I thought the ending, with Kevin's dance, was completely adorable. Patrick is definitely falling in love with him and it is scaring the sh!t out of him. It's always enjoyable seeing Patrick in panic mode, and Groff is so f-cking sweet and charming. His reaction to asking Richie if he's seeing anyone was adorable. On the other hand, Richie and Patrick have SIZZLING chemistry. Just a ton of that apart-but-always-loving-each-other wonderfulness that I want to see a lot more of. Lynn and Dom's scene was great. I could totally feel the awkwardness of discussing a hook up with your open partner and they played it perfectly. YAY, Doris is getting some! Woot woot! Agustin keeps sinking lower and lower. I felt bad for him, I have to say, especially the part where he ran into the acquaintance that has been seeing a lot of Frank. And then I made the mistake of watching the preview and it PISSED ME OFF. They were just getting to redeem Agustin. PLEASE don't let this go the way I think it is, because Agustin is dead for me after that point (unless, by some miracle, they really pull it off). The show is in a really good place and it can only get better. I pray the ratings improve.
  21. HBO has an amazing-sounding, behind-the-scenes special coming up. Yay! http://insidetv.ew.com/2015/01/19/game-of-thrones-season-5-special/
  22. What was everyone's take on this era of the show?
  23. That's true! Just a little bit of mindfulness towards the future (as I'm sure the backstory was designed towards building story for later) that led to 8/9 years worth of story (with breaks). You just don't get that anymore. I have always loved the prospect of Jill/Ryan, because the two had a very interesting working relationship/friendship. You're right, a ONS would have been great, although I don't quite see it ever developing into anything longterm or serious. A shame, indeed. I don't think it was necessarily a mistake, as it was the very tragic outcome of a huge storyline but I also would have loved to have seen what a marriage to Victoria would bring, and the drama that could come out of that. Although his death did lead to only the saddest scene in the history of Y&R forever and ever and ever (lol), it also did leave Victoria to have to deal with Diego....
  24. One more example of Bell's brilliance. That backstory gave them material at least until 2000.
  25. Always and forever
