I love that it isn't the cliche black background that many soaps have adopted in their closing credits. And the theme has won me over.

I think I am more eager to explore the tension between Naomi and Dani. That exchange over Chelsea eating a few extra pieces of salami was a bit terse.

I love that the "have nots" are gossiping about the haves. Such a touch of reality.

Now I am wondering what is Martin's secret? And what is brother line along with Leslie's visceral look at Ted has me thinking if Leslie was possibly in love with Ted's brother. Is it just me?

Oh, ok! That makes sense, too. 🤣 But if they were to come out and say they were nods to ATWT & GL, I wouldn't fault them b/c I totally thought those little touches in the logo were.

Am I think too much or does anyone else think the P&G logo is a nod to ATWT and GL? The circle being somewhat like an eclipsed moon or even earth. The candle being light? Maybe I am reading too much into it.

She responded to a tweet where someone acknowledged her and how her fight led to this. She basically was excited and thrilled that her longtime battle resulted in BTG.

Opening up to The Emotions "Best of my Love" is EPIC. That lets me know that NAACP & P&G are not afraid to put up some money for this show to be a success. I think that the tax break they are getting here in GA might allow them to redirect funds into something cute like music in future episodes. That aside, I enjoyed it. I think my only gripe (and it isn't major) is that we didn't need Ashley and Derek to premiere today. They could've been saved for Wednesday or Thursday episodes. I wanted to see more of Chelsea and Dani the nagging tension those two have. Don't know if it was just me, but I expect them to clash heavily in the future. I didn't mind the hospital set. Yes, it was bright, but that might be a lighting issue. They might need to take a nod from the John Conboy school of lighting and possibly dim the lights on the hospital set. I think Bill's office has to be my favorite set from the first episode. I am wondering what he is going to want to be paid in the future for the guy he gave a favor to.

Finally home and can relax and watch BTG.

Yaaass! I love that BTG is getting love on the NAACP Awards. They are really setting this show up to be a success.
