Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHOP Agree with @Taoboi that Karen will appear in the midseason trailer - there are too many allusions to being behind bars for her not to. RHOM Stephanie is exhausting. I can't wait for the bankruptcy/lawsuit/divorce. RHOC It appears that Katie is a psychotic liar. She was proven a liar by Kiki Monique and then through the polygraph...the technician seemed disgusted with her capacity to lie. I can't blame the rest of the cast for icing her out.

B&B: From Television City to Sunset Las Palmas Studios
It always blows me away how thin the actors are in reality when they look a bit more 'normal' on the show. That damn camera really does add 10 lbs.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
That's how I feel. Her crimes have many real victims who will never recover from what she did to them. SLC has thrived without her. I think it would hurt the show a great deal if she returned.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I wish Karen so well. I hope her time behind bars has humbled her and given her the time to get sober and confront the issues at the root of her drinking. I also hope Bravo has cameras up and ready in Potomac for her arrival home.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I watched the first two episodes today and I was delighted with the show. It gives strong Melbourne energy and that's a major compliment. I've often found that the very top tier of the RH universe is the international editions, unburdened by Bravo. This show is no different in that regard. The production values were so good. They invested real money in making London shine and these women, for the most part, have the bucks to back it all up. The moment Karen Loderick-Peace mentioned, with total reverence, that Joan Collins lives around the block from her...it was love. I concur 100% with @Cat's assessment of the show and the cast. I certainly know Groom Place well and Caroline and Karen are definitely living in the best postcode in Great Britain. I think Caroline is softer than she appears on first glance, especially in the scene with her stepdaughter. Karen is fabulous and open minded. I think Panthea has the potential to be really grating, really quickly. The crack about her peaking in the 2000s rang very true. As well as the remark about her living in Mill Hill...while her quiet obsession with wanting to emulate where the Royal Family sent Princes William and Harry to boarding school (Eton) is so tacky. Her mother seemed like a nightmare. That she was bringing up an issue with Juliet M from 6 years, pre-Covid...yikes. Agreed about Juliet M and Nessie. Early days but both seem pleasant. Juliet A will be the tacky bull in a china shop that she always is. But I think Caroline will destroy her without breaking a sweat.

B&B: From Television City to Sunset Las Palmas Studios
Gotta love that corporate synergy - I'll hand it to CBS that they rarely miss an opportunity to cross promote with ET. The permanent sets and the permanent lighting will make production so much easier and more cost effective, hopefully freeing up budget for the occasional set that has to be put up and taken down as storyline dictates.

B&B: From Television City to Sunset Las Palmas Studios
I found this tour the most useful because you can see how they're able to have so many more permanent sets and to have the design room, reception, Eric's office, and showroom all connect to each other continuously, shows the physical depth of the studio space.

ALL: Soap Stars - Where are they now?
Yes, I'd like A Murder Between Friends to finally find a place to air - why a streamer hasn't picked it up, as far as I know, boggles me. The Bitter End has wrapped filming. I really hope it brings to Dame Joan what she wants.

RIP: In Memoriam Thread
I enjoyed Loni so much and was so sad to hear about her passing. So many of her peers, Morgan Fairchild and Donna Mills among them, all said how kind and terrific she was. I’ll fondly think of her as Will Ferrell and Chris Katan’s mother in A Night at the Roxbury and as Denise Richard’s devious mother on Melrose Place. May her memory be a blessing.

Yes, Matt Rogers does solo interviews and has a show he tours (The Prince of Christmas). I actually enjoy him more than Bowen...

Paramount purchased by Skydance, final Aug. 7, 2025
It's interesting to see Sherry Lansing on the board of directors. She was the former chairman of Paramount Pictures, the first woman to do so, and was also head of production at 20th Century Fox. She is the definition of a veteran Hollywood power player.

She also put her hair up in a “late 90s Jill chignon” For the garbage scenes they give her, I would not want to fly into LA either.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I'm so pleased and relieved - it's the best franchise on air! They're pulling in over 1.5 million viewers between TV and streaming, with the vast majority from streaming.

ATL Yawn. This reunion episode was about as filler as I've ever seen.

OC Tamra is on her 6th face? Her new teeth are awful and distracting. You know what hasn't changed? The fact that she's evil and will never, ever, change or improve.

Daytime Emmy Nominees
Yes, ironic that the last Emmys of the 1990s were the last time they were truly relevant. Precisely. She had nominations in 2018 and 2020 in the Supporting Actress category. The only explanation for why she was submitted as Lead is one thing: ego. Oh now there's some piping hot tea. NATAS is driving 100 miles an hour into irrelevancy.

ARTICLE: DAYTIME EMMYS: 'Y&R' Leads with 19 Nominations, 'GH' Receives 16
So the Emmys are back to streaming and have lost a network outlet? B&B getting virtually shut out is something. DAYS getting all those nominations (though WTF to Greg Rikaart) is a great thing. I expect next year they'll do even better with the episodes around John's death. Y&R has more nominations than it deserves. I sincerely hope Eileen Davidson wins when she's recurring but I'd also be happy if Sharon Case won given she did great work. How did Melissa Claire Egan get a nomination? Rooting for Susan Walters and Linden Ashby - it would be great to see a husband and wife win in the same year and they're both excellent actors.

Y&R: Actor exits
It's totally psychotic and incredibly lazy. Indeed, I can only watch episodes sporadically for important events because the day to day of this show is horrendous. Can you imagine what Bill Bell would think if he was alive and able to watch it? It's astounding that Sony seems satisfied with the state of the show. It's like Y&R is where Sony puts its ex-employees and their friends out to pasture.
