Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Lol, I am liking Sutton already! I am rewatching S7 BH at the moment (it's actually better than I thought on first viewing), and LVP defended Kim when Rinna went after her about her arrest and being 'close to death'. Now obviously LVP had major beef with Rinna, but so does Kim who is probably tired of Rinna dragging her every season when she's not around. And Kyle letting it happen. So there is a common enemy there. Interesting that Shannon Beador was at the VPD event! Shame they didn't film it. Much as the HWs hate to admit it, the shadow of LVP is looming VERY large over S10 BH.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Hmmmm, interesting. I had forgotten about that. But IMO: 1. nobody wants to wave that loaded gun around and look like the bad guy (remember Kyle, S1 finale, or Rinna with Dorit, S7). Also Erika on WWH a few years back appeared to be lit. So she won't say anything because she's, like, a super cool rebel who totally gets Denise, lol. 2. The Denise incident occurred on Andy's watch. Kathy Griffin once said that she did coke with him before a show. I don't think the network will want anything like that being brought up again. 3. This is BH. Why let some juicy shenanigans get in the way of petty fake fights about Denise working long hours at B&B, adoptive pets and underwear?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
They totally knew. D'Andra didn't buy that dress to 'support' Leeanne's business venture. She bought it to point out its flaws on national TV and humiliate her And Kary admitted that she kept bringing up the dress at dinner because she felt Leeanne was picking on her the whole day. The smirk D'Andra pulled at the end of the meal as she left the table said it all. She and Kary planned this to set LA off. I sympathise more with D'Andra than Leeanne usually, but that has totally flipped this episode. Dallas sometimes resembles BH in its interactions and this is a prime example. D'Andra will never be the popular girl, and it kills her. Like Kyle, she is in the shadow of somebody else (her mother, Leeanne) and she cannot measure up to their fire, passion and audience support. It makes her feel like the ridiculed chubby kid in middle school all over again. It's sad. Especially because last episode D'Andra was desperate for Leeanne to not just notice her but take care of her. I feel like she wants Leanne to be the mother she never really got... and by the same token, she deflects a lot of the rage and jealousy she feels for Mama Dee onto Leeanne. Kary is awful because she was not just enabling D'Andra's plan, she was fully behind it. No one likes a bully's sidekick, Kary! If Leeanne and D'Andra reconcile (which I doubt), Kary will be left out on the cold. And she knows it. On the upside: Leeanne looks crazy gorgeous without a speck of makeup on. Brandi is a voice of reason! Stephanie: "People-pleasing 101, people." And Kameron is the gift that keeps on giving. Humor, wardrobe, VTs, everything. I am waiting to watch next week's episode to make my mind up about Leeanne's 'Mexican' comments... they are disgusting but I don't know if Leeanne has a thing against Mexicans like Trump does, or whether she just despises Kary. And is unable to articulate the real reason she hates her. So she falls back on this old racist trope without even realizing how disappointing it is to hear here go that route.

Kyle looks like she's had a fair bit of work (facelift, smaller nose), which IMO was totally unnecessary as she was a very pretty and naturally youthful-looking woman. Now she looks like a brunette Erika Jayne doll! Why do they all want to copy Erika? And then Cheap hits me with this legendaryness: This meme is glorious! Ken growling like a pissed-off bear. You know this is going to follow Kyle around forever!

The Joan Collins Fan Club
Joan lets the world know her feelings regarding jeans. As explained to us by the inimitable Michael K of DListed: https://dlisted.com/2019/11/21/excuse-me-as-i-torch-every-pair-of-jeans-i-own/#more-354856 Since my usual hangout spots aren’t a mega-yacht off the coast of St. Tropez, the private viewing room at Cartier in Beverly Hills, the chef’s table at The Ivy in London, and an Arab sheik’s $100 million Manhattan penthouse, I will probably never feel a La Mer-infused cloud of glamour hit me while seeing Dame Joan Collins live and in person. But just in case she ever decides to slum it with the disgusting peasants at a Target again, I’m going to destroy every pair of jeans I own and only leave the house in my freshly-ironed formal sweats (the one with the least stains on them). Because I do not want to be the one who makes Dame Joan dry heave into a Hermès handkerchief from the sight of legs slathered in the fabric of Satan (read: denim)! Dame Joan officially declared her war on jeans in 2010 when she wrote in The Daily Mail that she nearly crushed her Mikimoto pearls into Mikimoto pearl dust when she heard that The Ritz was letting people wear jeans to breakfast at their restaurant, and that too many people wear jeans, which are not flattering at all. Two years later, Dame Joan went for round two with jeans, and once again did it in The Daily Mail by writing that women over 40 should bury all of their jeans and never wear them. Four years after that, she told Elle UK that she never wears jeans when she travels. Well, Levi’s hasn’t left Dame Joan Collins’ [!@#$%^&*] list, because while talking about being the new face of Valentino with Vogue, she spit at uncouth jeans. And since she lives in Los Angeles, it’s amazing that her eyeballs haven’t exploded in disgust from the constant assault of ugly she’s hit with. That’s not to say that denim hasn’t been lucky enough to grace the stunning stems of Dame Joan. She once had her own denim line in the early-80s: And she’s been papped wearing jeans recently-ish. But the difference is that Dame Joan Collin’s jeans are made of the most expensive cotton in the world and are weaved straight onto her legs for a perfectly stunning fit. Dame Joan Collins doesn’t deserve to go through this life with waves of denim hideousness hitting her left and right. She needs to do something about it and ask herself, what would Alexis Carrington do? Alexis Carrington would obviously find out who the majority shareholder of Levi Strauss & Co. is, seduce them, marry them, and get their shares in the divorce so she can sashay on into the shareholder meeting and let them all know that she’s shutting down the company forever. And as she burns every last pair of Levi’s, she’ll toast to the demise of her biggest arch rival, and yes, she’ll toast with the finest burned champagne in her freezer, darling!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
“Monique declined to attend the cast trip and production approved her request because some of the women do not want to film with Monique.” Hmmmm. (Besides Candiace) who could that be? Gizelle has been seething with jealousy about Monique for years! Bravo/Production should have told Candiace that, per her contract, cast members DO NOT SUE each other, and that her messy, violent ass is no longer invited to Portugal. OF COURSE Monique didn't want to go on a cast trip with the thug who threw a glass at her and cut her face! I don't blame her! It sucks because I really like Monique, Chris and their family. She was a force to be reckoned with and never let Gizelle outwit her. And now Gizelle has won -- without even lifting a finger! Because that fool-with-no-impulse-control Candiace jumped in there to make this rivalry a thing. The natural rivalry SHOULD HAVE BEEN WITH ASHLEY! You red-eyed loon. Honestly, Candiace is going to find her ass divorced, alone and without steady employment if she continues down this road.

Damn. She threw everything and the kitchen sink into that fragrance, ingredients-wise. This reads like it is a very strong, musky perfume!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Dallas is not doing great in the ratings, so maybe that accounts for the lack of invites. However, Potomac had a BREAKOUT year this year. It didn't just do well ratings-wise, it became a water-cooler show. I saw people talking about it everywhere. And Andy was obsessed with it. He really seems into RHOP and M2M (which basically fielded all of its main cast at BravoCon). And Atlanta is ATLANTA. No matter my own personal feelings about the last few seasons, ATL has consistently been the #1 RH show for YEARS. I'm really surprised Kandi couldn't have joined Kenya and Cynthia (damn, I didn't even know Porsha was there!). Nene, I can guess why she didn't show. She would not be able to handle being called out by an audience member or another RH.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Having said all that ^^ BravoCon appears to have been a BLAST and I was glued to Twitter this weekend reading about all the panels and fan reactions. Best things I saw/read: (Couldn't find as much ATL tea, which was a shame) omg LOL

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Rumor has it that one member of the BH panel found out about the Pepsi rosé created in honor of LVP and threatened to not attend. Andy had to sweet-talk her into re-attending. My money is on Rinna. I'm a little peeved that BH got all these major panels and coverage. Potomac -- which has the demos that Bravo craves and is in the middle of some major media coverage -- only invited two HWs (Gizelle and Ashley OF COURSE). Also apparently Gizelle badmouthed Karen (AGAIN) at her panel. When is Karen going to get some love from the network? lol

Yeah, SLC has a lot under the surface! Wealth is displayed not in sexy wardrobes, but in land, property, and power. The lifestyle is laidback and western, and people were incredibly welcoming to me even though I am not a Mormon. They have old-fashioned manners, and many are also extremely outward-looking and speak more than one language -- the result of their 'Mission' where every Mormon spends 1-2 years in a foreign country at least once in their lives. Not surprisingly, I met many career diplomats from the State or the Defense Departments. Their internationalism was an asset in shaping foreign policy in the 80s and 90s especially. They tend to be Republicans but more Mitt Romney types than Trumpers. Tho I am sure there are Trumpers. It is an overwhelmingly red state. Alongside all this work in diplomacy/military/energy/defence, there was this other side where women who divorced their husbands were viewed with a mix of awe and shock. Like, scarlet woman! Men who divorced, however, were totally forgiven and welcomed back into the church. Because men, lol. And people were obsessed with who was dating whom, who was in a romance, who was married to whom. Interesting in a part of the world where pre-marital sex is frowned upon! Lots of gossip going on. I would have more respect for Rinna if she pulled a Vicki Gunvalson and screeched "Yes, I wanted her out! And I got her out too! It's my show now!" Rinna and Erika are one-trick ponies. I swear, if I see one more glam squad... And Rinna probably won't even be pushing her kiddies this year because their issues make her look like a not-great parent. So what else is there? She never hosts a party. I am curious to see how it will be. Not to mention Gorgeous Garcelle!! But the lack of concrete rumours coming out of filming is a worry. Bravo usually start the drip-drip of viral marketing for BH many months in advance. Last year, the LVP takedown stories were coming out 5 months before first airdate!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
@NothinButAttitude As I said, I am a real fan of this season. I feel a lot of fondness for the core group. And Kary has grown on me as a cast member, especially her interaction with Stephanie, Kameron and her nemesis Leeanne. But ITA with you that sidelining Cary Deuber was a mistake, especially with her lifestyle and horrendous husband. Kary should have been Karolina and an addition, not a replacement. I see your point about recruiting potential new HWs (Big Rich Texas anyone?), filming them, and seeing who meshed well. And while Leeanne's wedding buildup was not nearly as bad as S3 Miami (which was a total drag), they should have limited it to 4 or 5 episodes max, not 10. Sigh. I just hope Dallas manages to hang on with most of its core group intact but I have a feeling big changes are a-coming. Thrilled to hear about the big cheers LVP got after The Betrayal. I cannot believe Kyle whined about being at the same restaurant as LVP and LVP ignoring her. What did she expect?? Kyle had been plotting to get LVP off BH for years! I hope we get some interesting tea from today's BH panel audience. Will Rinna and Erika even deign to show? @alwaysAMC I personally hope RHOSLC does not go the Sister Wives route as TLC has that market covered! Having visited Salt Lake, I am somewhat surprised it was picked as I thought Bravo would choose a more glitzy coastal city. SL is very Mormon, traditional, white. However, because it is quite religious, there is also plenty of repression, secrets, judgemental HWs and gossip (I went to a wedding and it was crazy the amount of gossip! Female divorcees especially were the subject of much talk). I heard the RH franchises are very popular there -- ironic in such a family-oriented environment. There may not be as much drinking, though, lol. Like @Chris B I am very curious to see an extended trailer and the HWs featured.

Bravo now needs to tell Monique and Candiace to knock it off and threaten some firings, like they did with Vicki and her suit against Bravo and Kelly. That lawsuit was retracted in two days. I hear ratings for RHODallas are low and nobody is watching. That is too bad because I am really enjoying this season, more so than last season even. I like that we see the HWs individual lives. Stephanie in particular is opening up a lot of her life, including her marriage, her struggle with depression, and her friendships. Loved her going to Medieval Times with Travis and the two gingers. Also her opening up to her mom and Kary about Kameron. Her mom is absolutely lovely and wise. Kary is growing on me too. Stephanie delineates very well why the fight with Kameron triggered her. She also has a lot of awareness about D'Andra's drinking and how she gets drunk so that Leeann will look after her. Sadly, I dont think Leeanne will ever want to reconcile with D'Andra. Kameron doing archery with her husband and daughter was really cute. They say the producers are already putting out casting calls to change up the Dallas cast. And with the news that a new city might be added to RH, it makes me worried for Dallas's future prospects. Thanks! I thought it was strange Kyle wasn't on the BH panel as Bravo promoted her appearance when they first announced BravoCon. I was looking at the wrong schedule.

That was some epic level of trolling/gaslighting that Tamra did on OC. She should get a job at the White House. She knew she couldn't go after Kelly because Kelly knows her game, so she she projected all the blame on Shannon even knowing everything she was saying was a lie. Shannon looked like she almost believed it at one point. Although I think Shannon is just playing along with Tamra until she manoeuvres her into a weak position (probably on the cast trip) and then marshalls everyone against her. Still, I'm almost impressed at Tamra's gaslighting skills. She would make Kellyanne Conway proud.

YouTube algorithm put it on my timeline, lol. They really do hate her, it's so visceral. The BH session at BravoCon features Rinna, Erotikan't, Dorito, Tiddles, and Denizzzzzz. I can only imagine the smug triumphalism and nasty veiled comments about LVP. I am surprised Kyle won't be there as I assumed she would be front-and-centre at BravoCon. Lisa does not appear to be attending either, but I could be wrong.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
It really was. There was a scene earlier with Porsha, Kandi and Cynthia, and Kandi was kind of brushing off Dennis's cheating like it was no big deal and when were they going to get back together? I was surprised by how lightly Kandi and Cynthia treated it, although I recognise that they were probably also trying to keep things easy-breezy. The convo Porsha had with Lauren, though, was very moving, and I could totally understand where they were coming from because for me, cheating would be pretty much a dealbreaker. Color me surprised by Marlo. I liked her seasons 4 and 5, but in more recent years I got turned off by her superficiality more than anything (and some of the details of her crimes). She seems to have really mellowed, though. I kind of hope this is the season she gets a better role than resident [!@#$%^&*]-stirrer. WHY are all these girls panting over being Eva's BFF? Kandi's taken her under her wing and now Cynthia is begging her to be mah friend. I don't understand it because she's kind of a bore. And why Cynthia is all over her after Eva dogged her all last season for being old? Marc is coming off as a douche. I think we can all see it. Nene will bring the negativity next week but I'm sort of looking forward to seeing her climb that float and come face to face with Cynthia lol.

The View
I was actually *somewhat* impressed by a couple of the questions -- and FTR I am never impressed by The View. I feel like one or two of the hosts actually put thought in what they were going to ask. Sadly, these were wasted questions because, really, they should have been directed at DT himself, who could never ever handle this line of questioning. And neither, clearly, can his tantrumy, colicky toddler son who had to be constantly placated by Mother Guilfoyle. It is almost redundant to say at this point but, what an embarrassment of a human being.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I'm getting more quality RHOBH content from Keeping Up with the Kardashians than BH itself. Two weeks ago, we saw, on the 30th anniversary of Nicole Brown Simpson's death, Kris meeting up with Faye Resnick at Toscana to reminisce. She also did a shapewear commercial with Kyle and Rinna. I swear, Vyle and Rinna were almost digestible in those scenes. The Faye lunch was actually pretty moving and reminded me a little of S1-3 BH. Even after LVP's horribly handled departure, BH still has some of the raw materials to make this show spark. But it doesn't seem to want to use anything real life or authentic. So we have to dip back into the Kim/Brandi pond again because, let's be honest, Erika doesn't want to bring anything other than Mikey to the table, and Rinna is too cheap to host an event.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Omg thank you for extensive review AND for the absolutely smashing picture! No recoiling -- you all look great! Also, Luann is a giantess. What an honor to be invited to the special event after the show! Sounds like it was a lucky evening all around.

Yes! Cannot wait to hear about the Countess. As insufferable as she can be sometimes about the cabaret talk, I do love Luann. She seems like such a good gossip during the show. Pleased to have NJ back. It has changed unrecognizably since its first incarnation, but I like the balance between fun and dark, and the focus on families. Like Gia is literally directing the legal challenge on behalf of Juicy (because her mom sure as hell won't do anything) and is practically HW status. She also seems to have inherited ALL the brain cells in that fambly. LOVE Marge. Love Dolores. Can't wait to have Danielle back. Love the two Joe's, and Bill Aydin is growing on me as well (even though his business is essentially 'fixing women's flaws'). As @Gray Bunny said, Jennifer fits the cast well, perhaps more than Jackie who claims to be feisty and funny but takes herself soooooo seriously. She's also targeting Jennifer when she knows full well Teresa is the real instigator who wants her out. "I don't even know where to start...This was years of friendship that I thought would last forever! ... Suddenly everything kind of turned upside down." Bravo having LVP intone those words is no accident, LOL.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
OC: Unpopular opinion, but I think RHOC is the best it has been in 5 years. FINALLY the penny is dropping about Tamra. Tamra is such a psychopath gaslighting Braunwyn over the phone and twisting everyone's words against them. She is the archetypal high-school bully. I'm worried that it is too early in the season to be nailing her ass to the wall, though. By the time they go on the cast trip, she will have found someone new to target in order to deflect attention. Seeing realisation hit with Kelly, Braunwyn and Shannon -- lol, it took a while with those three. I know Emily is considered by production to be the 'big girl' of the group, but I find her figure to be one of the loveliest amongst the chiseled, muscled hard bodies of some others. She wears a one-piece bathing suit well. Shane really is angling to fit that Jim Bellino-sized hole in this franchise, huh. He seems over this marriage in a BIG way. Ordering the bread basket and the fries while his wife struggles with her diet was an added assholey touch. Gina's eldest boy playing with his fists in that barbershop sent a chill down my spine. More and more it seems that Matt's relationship with Gina might be abusive.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
If Erika's stankface in that photo was anything to go by, we can start with her. She obviously hates the women, hates women in general, and cannot stand being there, so let's put her out of her misery. Who else? -Rinna as instigator/puppetmaster who got us to this current state of shitty affairs. The show has been a nasty, boring mess since she started systematically picking off the old guard. She thought she was better TV value than LVP, Kim, Yolanda or Brandi! -Emotional vampire Kyle is nothing without somebody whose coattails she can ride. -Dorit for being generally hideous and hiding her lawsuit drama from the audience. That's a Real Housewives' CRIME! -Teddi -- almighty bore. Am I missing anybody? What do you think Bravo would have to do for LVP to film? She didn't show at reunion, and WWHL/Andy Cohen have been throwing digs at her for months. I'm not sure she would be inclined to do Bravo a favor unless she got something out of it. Money is a part of it, but given that Andy and the entire BH crew seem to be celebrating ever since they drove her away, I would imagine wounded feelings might override pay for once.
