Agreed, a good decent start to the season. I like how NeNe fit right back in seamlessly, as if no time had passed since her exit. She had a good start, but it IS NeNe and she's her own worst enemy, and that whole rape comment has really put a bad taste in my mouth regarding her. Her whole schtick about how she enjoyed working in LA but loves being back home in the ATL is hogwash because we all know she's back for the money to pay back what she owes, a la Teresa Guidice. Kandi keepin' it real as always and not putting up with fake ass bitches like Dodge Omni. Funny to see Sheree as Omni's only friend because Sheree is as two-faced as they come, and in all honesty, will never be a tentpole character of this franchise. She's always a follower who stirs the pot and throws shade because she's a broke as a joke hater. But she's still good at stirring that pot for TV purposes. Cynthia makes 50 look amazing, and I want to see more of her life post-Papa Smurf. And I hope we see more of Malorie, their mama, and Cynthia's goddess princess of a daughter, Noelle, who lucked out in getting both her mother and father's best traits.

Pretty crazy, huh? I think I jumped in around early 2011 when hubby got me into Atlanta's 3rd season, Beverly Hills' first season, and then watched crazy Danielle in reruns of New Jersey's first & second season. I remember when we were all delighted when we hit 100 pages! Ha! Agreed, thanks Cheap! I come here first and then browse the actual soap opera stuff. One thing I'll give them semi-credit for is that we see their full body shots again and they didn't manipulate their images to make all their heights the same. When you've got big ol' NeNe and lil Kandi looking the same size, it's just goofy. Same for other shows like having LuAnn the same height as Sonja, etc. Or worse, the last couple years when they tried to give us a sense of depth by having a giant Kandi in front, while making the women behind her progressively smaller. Sheree was suddenly the size of an ant.

Just saw OC last night... Wow, in the middle of that episode, hubby and I are just laughing/exasperated at how horrible half of these women are, and we started going through the list of who should stay and who should go... Vicki: Queen bee. Drama queen, yes, but the O.G. who can still whoop it up and has an interesting family life outside of the petty women drama. Peggy: Growing on us every day. She's quiet, but doesn't take [!@#$%^&*] from the other women. Plus, her family is cute and her daughters aren't annoying, entitled brats like others (i.e. Rinna's over on BH) Lydia: Generally very level-headed and diplomatic and calls others' B.S. out. Can sometimes be a little flaky/sensitive, and the whole uber-religious (i.e. weirded out by drag queens) is her weak spot, but overall she's needed for this clique. Tamra: The cockroach that just won't die. Just as my hubby hates Kyle Richards and LuAnn, this one will not go away either. We just need to dismantle her Mean Girls entourage... Shannaloon: Her outburst reaction to Vicki & Tamra making nice-nice was hilarious. Shes' so afraid her sidekick will leave her high and dry... and she will. For her health and sanity and recouping any sense of pride, you need off of this show. But, for our own entertainment, I'll take her for one last season just to see a complete meltdown. Kelly: I'm liking her less and less every episode. That patronizing "awww" when Tamra/Vicki hugged, her overall interjecting into conversations when she needs to let others hash it out without interruptions, her badgering of Peggy, her focus on food instead of Vicki. She's just too messy and increasingly obnoxious. Plus, did you notice how when she saw Vicki was calling her, the way she said, "Ugh, it's Vicki..." and then acted all concerned as she talked on the phone, she's phony as hell. But, her separation will give her another season, but no sympathy from me. MegaNeck: I hate that I kinda liked her for the last two episodes of last season and the first two of this season. She has no sympathy for others and just generally does not care about anyone else. Fake, dumb, and useless. Has she really lasted for 3 seasons or is this only her second? Good Lord, she needs to fade away with nary a mention ever again.

Once she gave up "The Countess" persona around season 5 and let her balls swing freely wherever the wind took them, she was gold.

You summed up how I feel about New Jersey. Melissa & Joe always play it up for the cameras. Thankfully, he's not talking about releasing poison out of his ink pen anymore. I don't buy Tre & Mel's friendship either. Soggy is just a blubbering mess this season. I like Dolores too, but she doesn't really have a WOW factor. A definite good supporting role, though. But if she's always going to tag-team it with Soggy, she's setting herself up for failure. Margaret is meh. She's got some cute qualities, but again, I'm just burned out by this whole group and feeling like I have to care about someone that I don't really care about. Case in point: the Dunkin' Donut twins and Amber from a couple years ago. Other than Teresa and her "dorters," I just don't feel a central unit to this show anymore. Hell, maybe it was Caroline's sourpuss face and adult-children that provided the central family unit. Either way, there's just something lost with this show. When I see the 5 castmembers together, I think, "This is it?" I need some other people there. It's basically Teresa, her fame-whore sis-in-law Melissa, and three people who are there to fill chairs. They should've given Danielle full housewife status so we can see her family life and be reintroduced to her daughters. Also, she needed a better re-entry. The ladies are on vacation and Danielle randomly pops in at breakfast on day two of the trip? Huh? Plus, zero drama with the two people you'd expect tension from (Tre, Mel). So it's like, okay, so? Danielle, please give us the crazy, and hopefully something interesting will happen between now and the Posche fashion show.

Aw, the Roseanne set is back! Warms my heart I think (hope!) we'll get a softer, better side of Roseanne, similar to seasons 1-5 Roseanne. Hopefully, Darlene won't be too negatively sarcastic either, and Jackie won't be too oafish as she was during the final 3 seasons. Still no word on Johnny Galecki...?

Agreed. For the sake of the show and the sake of her own marriage/family, she needs to be DONE after this season.

That brings me to a question regarding all Housewives series over the years... Which long-time Housewives do you think got too big for their britches and believed their own hype the most? And which ones stayed the most grounded and remained true to themselves? As always, clever gifs as replies are always welcome

Anyone know WHY Heather is loathed by other Bravolebrities? I'd welcome her back. If she came back and the sad mess known as Shannon were still there, it'd be another one to rile her up, with her icy cool demeanor while Shannaloon goes apesh.t again. Plus, I'd like to see the finished product of her house. I don't know who's touting Kelly as the new Queen Bee of the OC, because she is way too unstable and messy to be anything of the sort. I love her mom, though. She cracks me up with that hairdo. It always looks like she just woke up. I'm wondering why Bravo bothered to bring back Meghan. Surely, she must do SOMETHING worthwhile later this season? I'm liking Peggy and I like her family. I hope she continues to gel with the girls and gets another season. It's definitely obvious that David was coaxed by Shannaloon to "casually investigate" Diko for more info on Peggy's mastectomy. That's why she's getting all flustered with Diko approaching her about it.

Yep. White women love NeNe because she's the stereotypical over-the-top loud-mouth "drag queen" that us white folk are so easily entertained by. NeNe is funny. But she was much more funny the first 3 years when her remarks were genuine, thoughts popping out of her head at the moment, as opposed to well-thought one-liners and premeditated GIF moments. Agreed on the friendships of the NYC and BH ladies. Even yesterday, LuAnn and Jill posted an instagram photo together, just hanging out as "besties". Meanwhile, from the quarreling of Beverly Hills' first season bore a genuine friendship between Kyle and Camille.

Agree 100%. I, too, have not liked Melissa since Day One. The fact that she was singing a song on her first season called "On Display" about fame and everyone's eyes are on her... gurrrl, you just began filming and it hasn't even begun airing yet! Someone sure had high expectations... She really wormed her way out of her comeuppance. I was hoping we'd get an onscreen airing of her dirty laundry re: Melissa vs. Danielle ("Have you acknowledged your nephew...?") but I guess they're sticking to the Tre/Mel/Danielle vs. the others. ATL: I'm sure Kim vs. Nene will be cute, but it's not the same. The first 3-4 seasons with them was true anger, resentment, and jealousy. Now, it's just a performance for the show. I don't really buy it, but you know I'll be watching

Absolutely. All those hateful hens cacklin' away, and Kelly took part. Tsk, tsk. Are Vicki's text messages on the dramatic side? Sure. But she sounded like death and knows what strand of flu she had. Big deal. Tamra, Shannon, Meghan's obsession with other peoples' health and diagnoses are obnoxious as hell. Peggy held her own just fine. It's funny how there's a language and communication barrier, but she takes it in stride and knows they're just poking at her. I love how she dismisses them like water off a duck's back in her talking heads. Meghan had me for about three episodes at the end of last season when she seemed wiser and above the foolishness, and then she came right back down to her usual insipid self. For the most part, I love Lydia's take on the other women and am loving how she's getting under loony Shannon's skin. Shannon is so close to a total breakdown. Her need to be top dog of this show, her paranoia that people don't like her, her paranoia (and rightfully so) that David's going to leave her or cheat on her again, and her endless excuses for gaining weight and continuing to shovel massive amounts of food in her mouth. For her own sake, this needs to be her last season. She is soooooooo draining to watch. Yes! I just finished writing up the same sentiments before I read yours. Shannon is exhausting to watch and no doubt more exhausting for her family and those who interact around her. I'm sure she's always been this way, but being on RHOC has only fed the beast (figuratively, although...)

I don't think Beverly Hills is in any immediate danger. I'm glad they're going back to Camille and friend-of Adrienne, as this is the one cast that seemed like genuine friendships developed as a result of being on the show together. Ratings have been steady and there's still a healthy press buzz for it. I think once we lose LVP or Kyle (but let's face it, she's a lifer like OC's Tamra and Vicki), it'll be a test to see how it does the season after. If/when Bethenny leaves NYC again, I'd be interested in seeing if these past couple seasons would help keep momentum going with OG's like LuAnn and breakout personality Dorinda. They could always bring back Jill, as long as the Big B doesn't have a say in the matter. Otherwise, I could see them falling back into Season 6 irrevelancy.

I thought the same thing today! Hahaha... where will the ladies of NYC go to fight now??? I don't think Atlanta will become The NeNe Show because RHOA has survived and thrived without her and they all know it. They did just fine last season and the season before. The same could not be said for New York when Bethenny returned. Which is also why it's ridiculous that the cast of New Jersey (if the report was even true) would try to get Danielle edited out of the show. They had already tried to regain interest with Dina's return, Jacqueline's "return" (she never really left though), and Danielle is their last shot. Which brings me to a thread question for all: Out of the long-running franchises (Atlanta, Beverly Hills, New York, New Jersey, Orange County), which do you predict will be the first to go and why/how?

Wow. The "newest" castmembers and this is their 6th season. Again, amazed the thot is still here. Though it's pretty impressive to have so many long running castmembers and yet the bickering still feels fresh.
