  1. Yes. Give me a show with her, Jasmine Guy, and Robin Givens all together. All underrated. Pardon my ignorance, but I must know once and for all: How do you pronounce Kellie Shanygne Williams' middle name? Shah-NEEN?
  2. Something about Rinna's daughters irk me. Maybe they're just too "millennial" for me. Who's Donna?
  3. Absolutely. All those hateful hens cacklin' away, and Kelly took part. Tsk, tsk. Are Vicki's text messages on the dramatic side? Sure. But she sounded like death and knows what strand of flu she had. Big deal. Tamra, Shannon, Meghan's obsession with other peoples' health and diagnoses are obnoxious as hell. Peggy held her own just fine. It's funny how there's a language and communication barrier, but she takes it in stride and knows they're just poking at her. I love how she dismisses them like water off a duck's back in her talking heads. Meghan had me for about three episodes at the end of last season when she seemed wiser and above the foolishness, and then she came right back down to her usual insipid self. For the most part, I love Lydia's take on the other women and am loving how she's getting under loony Shannon's skin. Shannon is so close to a total breakdown. Her need to be top dog of this show, her paranoia that people don't like her, her paranoia (and rightfully so) that David's going to leave her or cheat on her again, and her endless excuses for gaining weight and continuing to shovel massive amounts of food in her mouth. For her own sake, this needs to be her last season. She is soooooooo draining to watch. Yes! I just finished writing up the same sentiments before I read yours. Shannon is exhausting to watch and no doubt more exhausting for her family and those who interact around her. I'm sure she's always been this way, but being on RHOC has only fed the beast (figuratively, although...)
  4. I don't think Beverly Hills is in any immediate danger. I'm glad they're going back to Camille and friend-of Adrienne, as this is the one cast that seemed like genuine friendships developed as a result of being on the show together. Ratings have been steady and there's still a healthy press buzz for it. I think once we lose LVP or Kyle (but let's face it, she's a lifer like OC's Tamra and Vicki), it'll be a test to see how it does the season after. If/when Bethenny leaves NYC again, I'd be interested in seeing if these past couple seasons would help keep momentum going with OG's like LuAnn and breakout personality Dorinda. They could always bring back Jill, as long as the Big B doesn't have a say in the matter. Otherwise, I could see them falling back into Season 6 irrevelancy.
  5. I thought the same thing today! Hahaha... where will the ladies of NYC go to fight now??? I don't think Atlanta will become The NeNe Show because RHOA has survived and thrived without her and they all know it. They did just fine last season and the season before. The same could not be said for New York when Bethenny returned. Which is also why it's ridiculous that the cast of New Jersey (if the report was even true) would try to get Danielle edited out of the show. They had already tried to regain interest with Dina's return, Jacqueline's "return" (she never really left though), and Danielle is their last shot. Which brings me to a thread question for all: Out of the long-running franchises (Atlanta, Beverly Hills, New York, New Jersey, Orange County), which do you predict will be the first to go and why/how?
  6. Wow. The "newest" castmembers and this is their 6th season. Again, amazed the thot is still here. Though it's pretty impressive to have so many long running castmembers and yet the bickering still feels fresh.
  7. Looks juicy! Thanks for the tag @Nothin'ButAttitude I'm all for ANYONE dragging Porsha. She shouldn't be still getting Bravo checks. She's dodged more bullets than any housewife when it comes to getting the boot.
  8. Exactly. I don't think any woman would ever have a double mastectomy just for fun. Ditto, @Cat
  9. Eden??? Re: Luann. I think the only castmember she was ever a little heartless towards was Alex. She was so dismissive of her and was a part of the whole "mean girl" clique in the 4th season, trying to ice Alex & Simon off the show. RHONJ is right on par with RHONY in terms of ratings, but the mighty have fallen. They have the plum Sunday night spot and a history of high Nielsen numbers. Meanwhile, NYC became an afterthought on Wednesdays until they came back out of obscurity and have made a healthy comeback. NJ last season was so irrelevant, whereas NYC got back into mainstream press with the whole LuAnn/Tom story during last year's season. I, too, wish Wacko Jacko would make an appearance just to watch Danielle crush the paralyzed smug face into donkey mush.
  10. Cute. Cut Danielle and you can cut RHONJ off the Bravo schedule permanently. She is their last-ditch effort at keeping the franchise relevant, a la Bethenny's season 7 return to NYC.
  11. Agreed and agreed. When Rinna isn't hamming it up for the camera (i.e. her first reunion), her overall personality is fun and adorably goofy.
  12. NYC: That was a sweet one-on-one Hamptons interview. Open and honest, but didn't dive into the messiness of either party. Class act. I don't know if a Carole / LuAnn / Bethenny feud will reignite out of any of this, but if LuAnn can take Mario's little "Countless" comment and run with it for half a season against Ramona, anything is possible. OC: Seeing Tamra without makeup as she got done up to look like a man, doesn't she resemble Jessica Lange? It's around the eyes, complimented by the wrinkles around the mouth when pursed.
  13. Thanks for posting! Ugh, the ONE time I want Jacqueline back would be to see icy, calculated Danielle rip her a new one. Some of these 'wives escape their comeuppances, and Wacko Jacquo is one of them. Although to be fair, she came off messy as hell last season so that is pretty much good enough for now.
  14. I don't watch it, but geez that looks like the cast of a reality competition show, not a Housewives ensemble. "Who will make the cut?"
  15. Aw man, that thing is STILL on? At this point, they could put Brielle in her place as a recast. Already has the nose, lips, hair. Just with added saliva on the sides of her mouth when she talks...
  16. So, back to New Jersey... I'm kinda/kinda not surprised that New Jersey has been bumped to Wednesday nights. I get that it's due to timing, with starting a new season in October, while Atlanta will probably premiere in November or early December. Still, it seems like a downgrade. Perhaps they're hoping it'll hold some ground, as NYC has proven the past 2 seasons. I wonder if NYC's numbers would've been a little higher on a Monday or Tuesday. I'm not a Bravo Nielsen expert, but their numbers seem to trickle from Sunday through Thursday.
  17. Ooh, a One-On-One with the former Countess would be delicious. I love when LuAnn lets her balls swing low and tells it like it is. Ugh, Tinsley this was not the year to abstain from voting, nor voting for a weak 3rd party or Big Bird or Bernie or Oprah or whomever. We know Ramona is all about "building that wall." I haven't seen Part Two yet, but I'm glad to hear Bethenny voted Hillary. I try not to be too judgmental about this sore subject, but it always creeps in. OC & NJ ladies were mainly pro-Trump? I guess I can see that, being the Republican trophy wives. At least we have a sure bet about the Atlanta ladies. Okay, enough politics. (p.s. Jill Zarin attended the inauguration) Re: Andy's love for Shannon. I think he can recognize when someone needs to be cut for the good of the show. He loved Brandi Glanville, but he finally cut her loose when there was no hope of redemption. Although the infamous purge of NYC in 2011 overall helped the show, I think going that drastic route is not something they'll do in the future, other than completely overhauling a cast and bringing in a whole new set of women with the same city title (New Jersey, I'm looking at you).
  18. Not at all. She'll always be one of soaps' heavy hitters. I never read much opinions on social media, but I wonder how well-liked Eileen was to those who weren't already familiar with her daytime work. I think she was generally well-received her first season, and then became a nuisance (and later, just kinda there) once she began her lil' tiff with LVP. Overall, I think her Housewives legacy will be mainly forgettable, while her daytime fans will always cherish her. I agree that The OC has found themselves in a precarious situation going forward. Vicki has become the Danielle Staub of OC, but she *is* the show, and someone has to film with her. I think @Nothin'ButAttitude is absolutely right that if Bravo were seriously thinking of cutting one of the biggies and Tamra felt her reality TV job was on the line, she'd cozy back up to Vicki, on-screen only.
  19. So it looks like the Posche fashion show is where the cast just lets loose and goes batsh-t crazy for some good camera moments. Looks good, but isn't that later on in the filming? Side note: Whoa, Dolores' son put on some muscle.
  20. Oh man, Danielle's not a main wife? Just looking at that cast photo, I can't help but immediately think the season's gonna tank.
  21. I, too, am with you all nearly all your points. Carole was okay this year, but The Real Housewives of New York has become The Big B of NYC. Too much of a viewpoint told through Bethenny's eyes, and it doesn't feel like an ensemble show, as these shows should be. This was probably Ramona's worst season, yet she has some nuggets of clarity and vulnerability (the naked pool confession w/ her and B was quite raw for Housewives), and knowing that vets Ramona and LuAnn now have to play second-fiddle to Miss Frankel makes them all the more endearing. I agree that Beverly Hills without LVP or Kyle would not be the same. Love 'em, hate 'em, or think they're old hat, but those two tentpoles make the show. I don't think Rinna is toxic, but she dug herself into such a huge hole and has zero credibility at this point, that she is best served in more of a supporting role this year and better not be the No. 1 instigator this season. I grew to really like Dorit and I still like Erika, so seeing them mix it up with veteran Camille full-time, with Adrienne as a "friend-of" will hopefully bring a lot of fun. It's funny, since Camille attended so many of the big functions last season, she has firsthand knowledge of all the buffoonery that went down. Now, we finally get to hear her viewpoint and get more camera time, at long last! WELCOME HOME!
  22. That's funny. The dress she wore last week really accentuated her giraffe-like neck.
  23. Amen. The past couple episodes really showed how the point of view of this show is always Bethenny. Not only the most camera time, but the most talking head points and witty/snarky observations. Here comes Dorinda, flatly pointing out the obvious -- and not even being harsh about it, really, considering how drunk she was -- and Bethenny couldn't handle it. The big B loves to psychoanalyze others as if she knows it all, but when someone turns the mirror on her, she cries foul and says they're a nasty person (oh snap, I just realized that comparison fits our current Celebrity Appresident...but I digress) This season has been a bunch of ups and downs for me in terms of who I think is right or wrong. I've been a fan of Bethenny overall for years, even when rumors were abundant of her being a tyrant behind the scenes at her talk show. But this season, her "dirty little fingerprints" (her words, re: Jill) are all over it. Meanwhile, just when I thought Ramona had gone too far, I see now where she's coming from, in terms of the hierarchy of this show, and I can't help but feel bad for her. I did enjoy Bethenny and Ramona's moment in the pool, and I agree that it seemed genuine on both sides. Hell, B was buck naked and shedding tears for another person's depression. I guess we'll call that a raw moment for her. I appreciated Dorinda's apology to Bethenny and thought it was sincere. I don't think she has a bad bone in her body, other than her alter ego, Drunk Dorinda, pointing out blunt truths when inebriated. Again, not harsh, but truth. If the Big B stays another season, I see her going after Dorinda because she sees what an asset Dorinda has become to this franchise. Carole has been fine by me on this trip. Her non-reaction to Ramona flashing her titties was hilarious. Sonja drunk. Well, that's been pent up for 10 months and she went wild. No harm, just mortifying. I think I feel more embarrassed for her daughter than I would ever feel for Avery. Tinsley. One and done. I can't with you anymore. Our darling Countess Mrs. D'Agostino. Can't say I'm surprised, and I'm sure she had this in her back pocket a long time ago, before she ever said, "I Do." I have a feeling she resigned herself to the notion of just going through with the wedding and ride it out and see how long the marriage lasts (1-2 years, tops) and then cut her losses. She'll be fine, and we'll have our girl back next year...
  24. I thought originally she wasn't coming back at all. Either way, yeah, these isolated babycentric scenes are peppered in until she's featured with other cast members. I wish Kelly Dodd would buy a flat iron.
