Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Oh how I miss leatherface... BH: Put me down for another Kathryn supporter. She was lowkey, but she managed to hold her own and there was good potential for a second season. Joyce was a fail. Carlton was an epic fail. Eileen, God bless her and all her soap opera glory, but she pretty much fizzled after her first year, and her lack of presence this season is barely noticed. We had the rise and fall of Brandi and Yolanda. Certainly, we could've used Kathryn for at least another year and see if she suffered the same fate as so many others during their sophomore year. Currently, Dorit holds the title for falling hard her second year. (Although overall, I think Soggy Flicker will forever hold that title in Housewives history...) NJ: I think Part Two was okay. Kim D is indeed the White Marlo (or vise versa), and it's funny to see her get under Teresa's skin because it actually seems like genuine disgust. I believe Danielle's words about Dolores giving her the rundown of the cast when they first met. It seems pretty natural that she would, in an off-camera manner. Danielle took that nugget of info and ran with it... onscreen. My guess is that Dolores was telling Danielle that Teresa only cares about money, meaning she's only doing RHONJ at this point for the money. If there's another season (and there probably will be, especially if they're trying to lure back Caroline Manzo), I definitely want to see Margaret back. A definite welcome addition, after YEARS of failed newbies on this franchise. And with that, we get her adorable mama. I love her mother! Dolores, if she returns, will have to crawl her way back up into the girls' good graces and I'd be willing to watch that, because she dug her own grave. P.S. Random observation, but Dolores' son Frankie is super gorgeous, but how can an 18 year old guy be *that* buff? Hmm... (See, I'm taking Dolores' approach by insinuating drug use with zero facts to base it upon, just casual observation, heehee) Oh, is THAT how it's done? That's how one can come to appreciate Miss Mortimer. Okay, I better rewatch last season when they do their next marathon. Cuz I'd sooner take Jules back.

Loved Camille's comment. That's the Camille we know and love. I actually loved the dog scenes with LVP. I'm a sucker for helping poor dogs that have been abandoned. I look at their sad faces and I melt. I don't know the details of the Ken assault allegations, but I'm sure we'll be treated to a lame flashback of the time he placed his hand on Yolanda. New Jersey's reunion was mostly a letdown. Soggy looks so checked out and foolish. She's sitting there like an enormous oaf with a dress that resembles a chenille throw. She's still holding on to the most flimsy of reasons to be angry at Margaret. It's a pathetic, weak storyline. Meanwhile, her bestie Dolores looks HORRIBLE! Nevermind the weight gain, she's got her Mariah Carey tittles sloppily spilling out and her face is a sloppy mess! She looks nothing like she used to and it's all bad. I appreciated the mention of how Melissa contacted Danielle back in the day via Facebook, but again, she scooted right past being in the hot seat of how underhanded she and Joe were at contacting Bravo and getting on the show back in 2010.

Yes to all of this.

Aw, thanks for posting the link. I'm sad for Jill; you know she loved him with all her heart. Glad to see so many of the housewives come together to pay respects. I'm sure Bravo got the okay from Jill that they film outside. Good to see both Ramona and Bethenny especially showing respect to Bobby, given their histories with Jill. (P.S. Where's LuAnn?)

Oh they sure do love trying to make new catchy memes and gifs. With them, I'm laughing at them more than with them, cuz their attempts are too cheeseball, but I still like them. LVP still has wicked timing and humor, whether she's in her talking heads or off the cuff as they film. NJ: The only interesting thing about that Reunion promo was having NYC's Ramona call Andy during taping. The Tales From the Crypt comment Teresa says about Kim D is funny, but again, it's all so played out and scripted with these people. Can't they just have Teresa visit New York next year and mix it up with the boozehounds and brainiacs in that city? Be stupid with Sonja and get a verbal beatdown from Bethenny. Can you imagine Bethenny and Teresa having a verbal argument? Bethenny would already be at round four while Teresa is still mustering up words for the first round. I know, I know, it'll never happen, but I feel like they're just keeping NJ around for Teresa.

It's no wonder NJ ran only 13 episodes. They really had nothing else going at this point. Siggy losing her mind and focusing on "the Hitler" comment plus all the other minuscule crap she tried to drag Margaret through was tired, desperate, and played out. Haven't watched last night's yet, but thank goodness we've come to the end of this season.

She worked at the Lobo, though we never saw her in action. I can buy Roseanne Conner voting Trump in 2016. The character is now in her 60's, still lower-middle class in a small town. Classic story these days. Personally, I've seen my dad go from voting for Bush Sr. in '88 to Clinton in '92; Obama in '08 to Romney in '12. I'm willing to see where this goes, and I won't vilify Roseanne Conner, the character, or Roseanne Barr, the actress just yet.

I think any revelations Roseanne gave on the series finale (Bev is gay, Dan died, Mark with Darlene, David with Becky, Jackie is gay) are reversed and ignored (thank goodness).

That's what I LOVE about Dorinda. Her drunken messes and slurred speech is reality TV gold, but at the heart of it, she has genuine compassion for everyone and is level-headed and intelligent. Yes @Taoboi have a blast watching early seasons of NYC, especially seasons 2 and 3. Their 3rd season stands out as the best season of all Housewives shows, bar none.

Agree 100% NYC is just fun to watch and so many of the relationships are organic. LuAnn as the heavyhitter so many years into the show is perfection; Dorinda is the best addition to a cast ever; and the show blends drama and comedy perfectly. I'm actually surprised this show has such a fresh perspective after their dismal seasons 5 & 6, because I feel there's still story to be told between the ladies currently in the cast, whereas others like OC, NJ, and now ATL are so beyond played out. I agree about Caroline Manzo, to be honest. She brought the solid central family unit to the show, something that is sorely lacking from the Guidices or Gorgas. Ever since we started the rotating new castmembers, it just feels hollow; trying to find people to fight with Melissa and Teresa. Teresa is still here just to pay off debts. When all else fails, they trot out Kim D for a couple episodes for some nonsensical vindictive [scripted] drama. Beverly Hills, my 2nd favorite, it's still early in the game, but we're seeing too much Dorit. And yes, the way she and PK were schooling Teddi and her gorgeous hubby about "Rinner" was tacky and calculating. But I still love my LVP, Camille, Rinna, and yes even Kyle and overall enjoy the ride these ladies take us on. Atlanta feels like they're feeding us a lot of appetizers with no main course. Hopefully this is a slow build to an end-of-season blowup, but for now, it's just light viewing. EDIT: I forgot. I'm actually looking forward to Potomac returning. I have a feeling it's going to be a fun, messy year. The gloves are coming off!

The only political affiliation they ever mentioned on the original Roseanne was when Leon (the episode in season 8 when he got married) admitted he was a Republican. That would be an interesting route they could've taken.... I remember reading that in the later years, Laurie Metcalf actually met with Don Knotts for "Barney Fife" pointers. Lawd have mercy, please don't go back there. I'd much rather see the Jackie Harris circa seasons 1-5, now older with a kid out of the house and she's single and ready to mingle.

Perhaps it's an "empty nest" situation where Andy's all grown up and out of the house. It'll be interesting to see how they play around with the younger generation's ages, since Harris Conner Healey should be 21 this year.

Wow, and yet they still look like someone took a dump on their faces. As the saying goes, you can put a pig in a dress and pearls, but at the end of the day it's still just a pig.

@Cat I was just going to come on here and say that I hope Siggy's behavior is Bravo-induced in order to have some sort of drama for the show, but if she's still taking this on via Twitter, she's just looneytunes. What are we up to, episode 12 next week? I hope 13 is the finale. If all they have going is Soggy Flickabooger's tears over the Soggy and Hitler remarks, this will go down as another weak season. The Posche fashion show was just a non-factor with dopey Kim D. Danielle's return didn't pack a punch that we'd hoped for. At this point, this show is just around to help Teresa Guidice's financial problems. Add to that, NYC has garnered higher ratings than NJ on Wednesdays.

Aw that gets me excited for the next season of RHONY. Lindsay Lohan, yikes, poor thing aged herself by 30 years with all that partying... I like Margaret, but she's not in the same league as Queen Dorinda. Give her another season and maybe she'll elevate her status

That "ho daughter" comment and silence afterwards was hilarious. When you're full of ugly , it's hard to edit around it.

Crystal had a boy and a girl with Ed. The son during the 3rd season (I think she was already pregnant when she and Ed got hitched, yes?) and a girl towards the end of the 4th season right as the Rodbell's Diner was about to close. I thought it was weird when Dan mentioned during the 8th season (I think the episode when Darlene gets married and he has his heart attack) that he hadn't talked to his father in two years, when Ed supposedly still lived in Lanford. But I suppose that doesn't necessarily mean they would speak to one another.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Agreed. Especially if they show scenes with her two daughters making amends with Teresa. She's already been on WWHL at least twice since NJ returned and she's still classic trainwreck TV. She sang along with footage of her and former lesbian lover singing that ridiculous song some 7-8 years ago on WWHL, and she clapped back at one of the fan's write-in questions because she can't take criticism. Her perfect lil' doses of crazy insecurities still remain.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Geez, Atlanta has been filming so much, I forgot about all of the stuff coming up. I think the season has been okay so far, but it's not popping; just a slow simmer. Too much Porsha, and the balance is off. Sheree is so messy, hanging out with Kenya at the gym one moment, and talking crap about her the next day with Kim. That's what'll always keep Sheree as a supportive role and not a tentpole. Nobody really flocks to her to be her friend. She's a fairweather friend, for sure, and never keeps her alliances intact. I'm already sick of Kim. Her thirsty desperation to be relevant and get back on the mothership is so obvious. I don't mind the fluffy casual dating scenes with Cynthia. As long as she's sporting that hair, I'll watch. She's flawless. I don't mind Kandi's "minions" and she is always the most grounded, so anything with her is good. Thank God the Mama Joyce era is over. OC: That was a rough reunion. A lot of nothingness, both in terms of the women themselves and what they brought to the show. Meghan brought nothing. Peggy I tried with her but she's a one-and-done. She was upset because nobody asked her how she's doing, post-father's death. Right? That's what she was trying to convey after all that? Okay. 'Tis a pity, because I think Deiko made for a good Househusband for the show. I can buy the tears between Vicki & Tamra, whether they're crying because they genuinely miss each other or because they're tired of the nastiness and want to save the show. Either way, I'll take it. Shannon did NOT want to make amends with Vicki and only did it because the cameras were up and the waterworks were already flowing with Vicki & Tamra huddled together. She has NOT forgiven Vicki and will still be a bitter pudgy hothead next year. Kelly is messy and can't keep her alliances straight either, but a newly single woman will keep her on the show next season. I'll take another year of Lydia because the bible beater can rile up Shannon's feathers and is a straight-shooter. Bring back our lovely Lizzie to shake up Tamra.

Wow, Estelle Parsons and James Pickens Jr. And the return of "David Healey!" This is all shaping up very nicely. Meanwhile, a Roseanne mystery I always wondered about: How/why did the entry to the basement switch half-way through the series, and then return back to where it should've always remained (off the right side of the kitchen, beyond the "floating" stove/counter area) at the series finale? Around seasons 6-7, they made it seem like the entrance to the basement was from the laundry room/service porch, which, as noted early on, itself was an addition made to the house because "Dan got tired of watching Roseanne doing laundry in the rain."
