Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Haven't seen BH yet, but Kyle is known to bring in the big dogs to fight her battles (The Morally Corrupt Faye Resnick, for starters). Just by seeing a clip of Bethenny/Kyle vs. Lisa, you could easily tell Bethenny had been prepped and kept up-to-date by Kyle so she could go in hard on LVP. Glad to know LVP kept her cool. She's passionate about dogs but not crazy about bitches, indeed. Dorit's overly large breast implants (that don't look 100% symmetrical) on her tiny body looks EXACTLY like Tori Spelling's botched chest circa mid-90's 90210 era. Not an attractive look.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I liked Nene's lil "come to Jesus" moment with Dodge Omni, but as Nene hinted on WWHL, it's more of a peaceful moment and not the beginning of a newly reformed kinship. The shade throughout the episode was funny, but I think our favorite moment that had us rolling was when Nene did an impression of herself when she was really high-strung and would come home and Greg says they're out of ketchup and Nene screams "KETCHUP!!!!" LOL It's the unrehearsed, unprepared moments like that that made me love Nene during her first 3 seasons. She's naturally funny without mugging for the camera and trying to create a new GIF worthy moment. Sheree's red mop on her head was all sorts of wrong and it just got worse as the day dragged on. Side Note: I didn't mention this regarding last week's episode, but I thought it funny that Cynthia brought out the "we're still gettin' to know one another" excuse in reference to Porsha. She said the same thing about Kenya 1 or 2 years ago. These are cast mates that she's literally traveled around the globe with. How many years does it take for Cynthia to get to know someone?

Ha! Yep, Mean Girls gone menopausal. +1 on Heather vs. Tinsley. What if we all had the choice of Tinsley, Jules, or Kristen Taekman returning...? Oh hell, let's throw in Cindy Barshop too.

Meh, I liked Heather but I don't miss her. One, she represents the shaky period of the show (Seasons 5 and 6) and two, she comes off as too sanctimonious and loved to have the last word, even in simple celebratory occasions ("A toast to Avonlea!" someone says, to which Heather blurts, "Yeah mama, a toast indeed!") as if her word is final and sums up what the other minions are saying. I don't even get that feeling from Bethenny when she's spouting off her know-it-all stuff at rapid speed. I will say though that if she returned nowadays, the Heather-Carole-Bethenny BFF dynamics would be quite a sight to see. Carole worships the toilet paper Bethenny craps on, whereas Carole and Heather were equals. Heather and Bethenny fought as alpha dogs, but Bethenny was an OG of NYC. You could always sense Heather felt threatened and would become exasperated trying to keep up with Bethenny's words. (P.S. Kudos to anyone who got my random-ass Anne of Green Gables nod)

Good grief, NYC keeps adding real-life turbulence to their roster for Season Ten. Cannot wait

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Amen. She's a hustler. I guess that's what has made her refreshing this season, aside from staying above the petty stuff. She has an actual life and storyline to showcase, much like a Vanderpump or a Bethenny.

Loved that shot of Camille and Dorit walking through the hallway, Camille sashaying her way ahead and throwing shade like only Miss Donatacci-Grammer can do. I hope this continues and we get to see a lot of her at the reunion, as we saw a lot of Danielle on NJ's. I hate that Kyle spoke over LVP's admission that she doesn't like the indication that LVP was doing some sort of sneaky, calculated maneuver. Instead, Kyle does her dumb "you were just mad that it wasn't all about you!" No, you fool. You were once again making those Bobby Fischer inferences and that struck a cord with LVP. Hence, the walkout. While ATL tries desperately to repair Dodge Omni's image, BH's Lisa Rinna is working her Rinna magic just by being her fabulous self in her own footage with the kids and family. I love seeing her come into the group after the petty Dorit drama, and she smirks and bats her eyes.

Dang Gina, you summed it up. Although I don't find anything wrong with Kandi. Cynthia is a great supportive role, as you said, but you're right: her normalcy balances out the lunacy, but there's nothing good going on with anyone else. No words for Kim either. Stank bitch does not make for good TV anymore. Love your write-up for Sheree. Indeed. NeNe... sigh. I wonder if she's just hoping Ryan Murphy will eventually cast her again in one of his newest projects?

Is this the first time a Housewives series has gone to South America? I'm itching for some NYC. I'm going through withdrawals.

I'd be down for a Jill pop-up visit. Like an Adrienne or Camille (minus Adrienne's horrific plastic surgery). Something that showcases a Ramona/Jill reconciliation and peace between Bethenny/Jill for Bobby. @Cat All those juicy, delicious true-life moments sound so good; much better than manufactured pantygates, tardyforthepartygates, stemwaregates, or lunatic Soggy sagas we've endured recently.

Karma's a bitch! Ha! Sip that Pinot, Ramona! Yes, Ramona and Jill are indeed in Morocco and have patched things up. They posted an Instagram video, all kissy-kissy saying they've made up and are friends again. I really hope we can get Miss Zarin on NYC again, in one form or another.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
@alwaysAMC Aw too bad Eileen, LOL, I would've enjoyed having her. It makes it a wee bit more organic to have a previous castmember and real-life friend come back for a chat. @Cat Your assessment of BH is sad, but true. For so long, this one was able to bounce back (see: season 4) from the highs and lows (Russell's suicide; Adrienne threatening Bravo with lawsuits; Carlton the witchypoo, Kim and Brandi's overall suckage), but now they've hit that rut that other Housewives series eventually find themselves in. On one hand, I wouldn't want the two tentpoles (LVP and Kyle) to leave because that takes away the show's brand and identity. But at the same time, we are now encountering a revolving door of new people to come in, toss things up in the air, and then leave, with the veterans staying intact for the most part. I love Rinna and am glad she's hung around for four seasons now, but she can't be taken as a serious tentpole character because she has zero credibility. Indeed, featuring Dorit so heavily this season is a terrible idea, and she's gone from mildly likable to horribly obnoxious. As my husband said while watching last week: "Teddi needs to get the hell outta my face!" LOL. She's a perfectly fine person and down to earth, but that's not what this series is all about. Beverly Hills, as it was originally established with LVP, Camille, Adrienne, Taylor, Kim and Kyle, was the high-glam richie-rich franchise, with bigger bank accounts (i.e. before Bethenny blew up) than anyone else. Endless real estate porn, car porn, lavish party porn, etc. Teddi is cool, but we're not watching this show to see someone belittle it all.

@Cat LOL! You posted my absolute favorites! Oh my God, that candle skit is perfection. The 1:41 mark with Aidy Bryant... Another SNL side note: Nasim Pedrad never got the praise she deserved, and I was disappointed that Vanessa Bayer didn't get a proper sendoff when she left last season.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
SNL Side notes: I hope Aidy, Kate McKinnon, and Cecily Strong never leave SNL. Kate is destined for big success and Cecily is right behind her. I loved Real Housewives of Disney and Kristen Wiig's impression of Kim Richards a housewife. Also, in 2010, Andy Cohen was on the show spoofing the Reunion shows (complete with a New Jersey Season One set of an all-blue room with black chandeliers) with all the SNL greats appearing, like Cheri O'Teri, Tina Fey, etc. (It was the episode Betty White hosted). Atlanta: I thought Eva fit in perfectly with the drama. If she's here to replace someone (or to keep Zolciak from returning full-time), I say keep her and give her a peach next year. I felt bad for Cynthia too. But you know what, she's fresh out of a divorce and she looks damn good at 50. Play the field, have fun, let loose. This is a blessing in disguise. Zolciak absolutely sucks the life and energy out of the room. She serves no purpose but to plop down on a sofa like an enormous hen on her nest waiting for more eggs to hatch. I'd sooner watch non-factor after-thought Sheree trying to wiggle her way into conversations. Sheree can be a hater, but she can serve a lot of light-hearted fun as well. Zolciak is just a stinky pile of puss. I'm a Kandi supporter and like most of her entourage but have never liked Don Juan. He's just too much a bitter queen pissed off that he's homely. The continuous struggle to rehabilitate Porsha's image is still an eye roll. Kenya's over the show and good for her for finding her happy ending. She put in 6 years and helped create tons of buzz (i.e. Beyonce even quoting "Gone with the Wind") juicy drama around the show, and helped usher in a fresh new set of problems. With Sheree gone and Kim leaving in season 5, they avoided getting stuck in the rut they find themselves in now.

DAYS: Behind the Scenes, Articles/Photos
The Marlena clones were briefly mentioned a couple weeks after the fact ("someone reported seeing Marlena in Iowa"). Random, huh? Otherwise never mentioned again. This lil story nugget is just the thing Carlivati could find out about and use for today's stories (and by "today," I mean 2020...)

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Oh how I miss leatherface... BH: Put me down for another Kathryn supporter. She was lowkey, but she managed to hold her own and there was good potential for a second season. Joyce was a fail. Carlton was an epic fail. Eileen, God bless her and all her soap opera glory, but she pretty much fizzled after her first year, and her lack of presence this season is barely noticed. We had the rise and fall of Brandi and Yolanda. Certainly, we could've used Kathryn for at least another year and see if she suffered the same fate as so many others during their sophomore year. Currently, Dorit holds the title for falling hard her second year. (Although overall, I think Soggy Flicker will forever hold that title in Housewives history...) NJ: I think Part Two was okay. Kim D is indeed the White Marlo (or vise versa), and it's funny to see her get under Teresa's skin because it actually seems like genuine disgust. I believe Danielle's words about Dolores giving her the rundown of the cast when they first met. It seems pretty natural that she would, in an off-camera manner. Danielle took that nugget of info and ran with it... onscreen. My guess is that Dolores was telling Danielle that Teresa only cares about money, meaning she's only doing RHONJ at this point for the money. If there's another season (and there probably will be, especially if they're trying to lure back Caroline Manzo), I definitely want to see Margaret back. A definite welcome addition, after YEARS of failed newbies on this franchise. And with that, we get her adorable mama. I love her mother! Dolores, if she returns, will have to crawl her way back up into the girls' good graces and I'd be willing to watch that, because she dug her own grave. P.S. Random observation, but Dolores' son Frankie is super gorgeous, but how can an 18 year old guy be *that* buff? Hmm... (See, I'm taking Dolores' approach by insinuating drug use with zero facts to base it upon, just casual observation, heehee) Oh, is THAT how it's done? That's how one can come to appreciate Miss Mortimer. Okay, I better rewatch last season when they do their next marathon. Cuz I'd sooner take Jules back.

Loved Camille's comment. That's the Camille we know and love. I actually loved the dog scenes with LVP. I'm a sucker for helping poor dogs that have been abandoned. I look at their sad faces and I melt. I don't know the details of the Ken assault allegations, but I'm sure we'll be treated to a lame flashback of the time he placed his hand on Yolanda. New Jersey's reunion was mostly a letdown. Soggy looks so checked out and foolish. She's sitting there like an enormous oaf with a dress that resembles a chenille throw. She's still holding on to the most flimsy of reasons to be angry at Margaret. It's a pathetic, weak storyline. Meanwhile, her bestie Dolores looks HORRIBLE! Nevermind the weight gain, she's got her Mariah Carey tittles sloppily spilling out and her face is a sloppy mess! She looks nothing like she used to and it's all bad. I appreciated the mention of how Melissa contacted Danielle back in the day via Facebook, but again, she scooted right past being in the hot seat of how underhanded she and Joe were at contacting Bravo and getting on the show back in 2010.

Aw, thanks for posting the link. I'm sad for Jill; you know she loved him with all her heart. Glad to see so many of the housewives come together to pay respects. I'm sure Bravo got the okay from Jill that they film outside. Good to see both Ramona and Bethenny especially showing respect to Bobby, given their histories with Jill. (P.S. Where's LuAnn?)

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Oh they sure do love trying to make new catchy memes and gifs. With them, I'm laughing at them more than with them, cuz their attempts are too cheeseball, but I still like them. LVP still has wicked timing and humor, whether she's in her talking heads or off the cuff as they film. NJ: The only interesting thing about that Reunion promo was having NYC's Ramona call Andy during taping. The Tales From the Crypt comment Teresa says about Kim D is funny, but again, it's all so played out and scripted with these people. Can't they just have Teresa visit New York next year and mix it up with the boozehounds and brainiacs in that city? Be stupid with Sonja and get a verbal beatdown from Bethenny. Can you imagine Bethenny and Teresa having a verbal argument? Bethenny would already be at round four while Teresa is still mustering up words for the first round. I know, I know, it'll never happen, but I feel like they're just keeping NJ around for Teresa.

It's no wonder NJ ran only 13 episodes. They really had nothing else going at this point. Siggy losing her mind and focusing on "the Hitler" comment plus all the other minuscule crap she tried to drag Margaret through was tired, desperate, and played out. Haven't watched last night's yet, but thank goodness we've come to the end of this season.

"The Conners" Discussion Thread
She worked at the Lobo, though we never saw her in action. I can buy Roseanne Conner voting Trump in 2016. The character is now in her 60's, still lower-middle class in a small town. Classic story these days. Personally, I've seen my dad go from voting for Bush Sr. in '88 to Clinton in '92; Obama in '08 to Romney in '12. I'm willing to see where this goes, and I won't vilify Roseanne Conner, the character, or Roseanne Barr, the actress just yet.

I think any revelations Roseanne gave on the series finale (Bev is gay, Dan died, Mark with Darlene, David with Becky, Jackie is gay) are reversed and ignored (thank goodness).
