  1. "We're all alone. I'm alone too" bugged the crap outta me, too. I was like, geez can't you let someone else have ONE moment? This woman just lost the love of her life. For once, I encourage things to be all about Jill! I liked how they presented Bobby's funeral. With the footage between Ramona, Dorinda, Bethenny, and Jill, it felt more like a documentary than reality TV. Kudos on the plentiful flashbacks, too. Side note: Last week when they aired Season 4, I spied Dorinda sitting right next to Jill at Jill's event where Ramona brought her own Pinot to drink. Loved seeing a lot of Dale! It meant seeing a lot of Tinsley, too, but it's okay. They looked like two bored wealthy women with nothing to do with their time, so let's try on wedding dresses! Nice camera cinematography, with Dale walking into Tinsley's hotel. Tinsley's talking headshots always make me think she's in Miami. Glad Ramona is keeping her Hamptons home, just renovating. Revamp and renew, with Mario memories in the past... Speaking of "documentary like" footage, also nice to see a raw unfiltered LuAnn, and look forward to seeing her back in NYC next week.
  2. Agreed with you and others that Michael is checked out. He had time away from Ashley and he must've enjoyed it. She better start poking holes in condoms, replace birth control pills with placebos, or whatever it is straight couples do these days to trap a man with a kid, or else he is gone with the wind. Robyn's event was low-budget, her speech was certainly not empowering (she's not very good at public speaking, or speaking in general), and there was nothing to miss. I definitely appreciate that there IS long history with the vets of this franchise (which is why this and NYC are so refreshing and are delivering this season), but Robyn has no right to be upset with Karen. Meanwhile, Karen being dodgy with her charity money This woman is so ridiculous I love it. I'm with you, Chit. Monique is my girl too
  3. Potomac: Side note: Now that Juan is comfortable on camera and showing off that beautiful smile, I finally realize what a cutie-patootie he is!
  4. I agree about Alex's treatment in S4. For us viewers, I think we missed out on some good stuff (and a better transition from the original cast to the revamped cast of Season 5) by not offering Alex a full-time run in the 5th year (she was only offered a friend-of status, half-way through filming). I wonder how Alex would've meshed with newbies Carole, Heather, and Aviva. What a GREAT screencap, LMAO Can't wait to catch these on DVR tonight Cindy was a humorless turd, but it's interesting to see she's still friends with Jill (and her circle of friends) to this day. I wonder if she's still doing her bedazzled va-jay-jay biz for single fortysomething women who need to impress their bedroom toys.
  5. Honestly, the way our culture is these days, they could bring her back by the end of next season and barely anyone would bat an eye. (Not literally, but you know what I mean). Everything becomes such an uproar and then dies out as we move on to the next big thing. Hell, if Kathy Griffin had kept a low profile this past year, she'd have been ringing in the new year on CNN this December... It's always crazy watching those "Year In Review" shows they do on ABC in Decembers. So many big headlines come and go, you forget what happened in the last 12 months.
  6. I agree, there was something good about Season Four, too. Once they hit Morocco, it was ON. This moment below was my first real impression of New York. It's when I realized the ladies on this franchise fight with their tongues, whereas the New Jersey and Atlanta ladies fight with their fists (to quote Dynasty's Alexis vs. Krystle)
  7. I don't suppose they could recast with Rosie O'Donnell?
  8. BTW, speaking of early NYC days... a few weeks back when they re-aired the first season (only 7 episodes... I still have yet to see that 1st year reunion), sure enough you see the infamous Tom trying to hit on Ramona, her friend Joni (whom I always liked), and their friends. Tom is the fool who calls Joni "promiscuous."
  9. And we thank you for it What's crazy is that when I came aboard the Housewives train in early 2011, NYC was already debuting season 4 and my future hubby had to fill me in on the great "Bethenny Frankel" of which I knew nothing about, way back when. I had so much fun catching up on their first three years and love when they rerun them. That season provided some amazing "gif worthy" moments too, LOL
  10. I know I purposely buried my head in the sand regarding anything Roseanne said/did/tweeted pre-2018, so this whole mess has been disheartening and sad, as a longtime supporter of her as a comedienne and a huge fan of the original "Roseanne" series, which I still maintain is my all-time favorite sitcom. I really hope she seeks mental health treatment. If we're seeing Gabby and Tess and Niki in action, I'ma need Roseanne's gatekeeper to keep 'em all in check.
  11. I'll be catching up tonight! Meanwhile, yesterday Bravo ran some episodes and reunion of Season Three, the best most delicious season of all housewives shows, IMO
  12. Indeed, and thank you for reiterating my point. Politics was episode 1; episodes 2-9 were not. But it doesn't matter now.
  13. My analogy is simply in regards to a show going on without the matriarch, especially when the show itself is named after said matriarch. #respecttovalerieharper
  14. I can only imagine how Sara Gilbert, etc. will feel towards her now. I'm guessing there won't be many cast reunion specials with them for Good Morning America, Entertainment Weekly magazine, etc. anytime in the next decade now.
  15. "Roseanne's Family." "The Conner Family." Where's Sandy Duncan when you need her to keep the show going? I suppose Roseanne owns too much of the show, though...
  16. I'm very disappointed to say the least. "Love the sinner, hate the sin," but damn lady, I can't stan for you anymore...
  17. I'd have to disagree there. The numbers were still phenomenal for 2018, and political discussion was only showcased for one single episode.
  18. I want to compare them to a Porsha (dumb) versus Sheree (broke), but they're both broke. I'm amazed at how dumb Robyn is.
  19. She sure did and Bethenny said she'd give Omarosa 10K if she were correct. I wonder if she ever paid up.
  20. I have grown to love this "Christmas at Dorinda's at The Berzerkshires" tradition. As a total Christmas whore, the holiday porn is total heavenly overload for me, lol. I enjoyed the lightheartedness with Dorinda, Carole, and Ramona. First of all, I'm *finally* giving a damn about Carole. Secondly, it's funny to see her and Ramona finally getting along (Carole used to be so dismissive of loopy Pinot Singer). I concur with you all in that Bethenny has met her match in a verbal smackdown against Carole. Carole isn't getting flustered and tongue-tied as the rest of them do. She's remaining calm, standing her ground, and making her point heard. Bethenny's responses weren't even solid answers and made her look stubbon, determined to be mad at Carole for something, no matter if she pinpoints exactly why or not. Sonja getting rid of some pets is a step in the right direction, I guess. It'll help with the upkeep, or lack thereof, with her house. Her new talking head is much more flattering; she looks like she was born anatomically female again.
  21. I hope next season will help fill in the gaps of the last 20 years, such as Andy, Jerry, The Lunchbox, Leon, etc. Another thing about Crystal which was pretty much forgotten about except for that one episode in season 6 - she is married to Dan's father. I'm assuming Ed died in the last 20 years. I always thought it strange when Dan mentioned "I haven't spoken to my dad in 2 years," at Darlene/David's wedding, when Ed was supposedly living right there in Lanford with Crystal since they got married. Side note: I wonder how Crystal's son Lonny turned out?
  22. Potomac Season 3 has mastered what makes juicy, salacious, messy reality TV so good. This show is giving me everything Beverly Hills didn't. Other than watching Kim Zolciak die at the reunion, Atlanta was pretty ho-hum this year too. Thank goodness we have New York and Potomac to lift our spirits in Spring as we head into sunny summer. I really need to do a google search on Ashley's husband's gay dalliances abroad... unless someone here knows the Cliffs Notes?
  23. What's the tea? I haven't the energy to follow Twitter wars and back 'n forth threads.
  24. Potomac was SO good on Sunday. I echo what everyone else said. Love the Young Bucks vs. Geriatrics. The 3 youngsters have such a great fun camaraderie. Thank goodness we have Ashley on this show to stir the tea, bridge the communication gaps, plus showcase her own real-life drama. I am finally coming around to finding Gizelle an annoying hater. Her tagline is dripping with irony because nobody's talking about her. Her romance (is the dude checked out already?) isn't the topic of discussion, her kids are doing fine. What IS the word on the street about her? Nothing. Oh Monique, your drinking habits are starting to resemble some of our favorite New York City ladies. Hire a nanny, grieve the loss of your unborn baby, and slow down. I'm anticipating a friendship breakdown with Monique vs. Charriissee down the line. Charriissee will side with the old hags and resent Monique for siding with the younger, prettier enemy.
  25. Oh I'll never stop enjoying my dislike of that couch stain. But you summed up exactly why she's perfect as a "friend of": no personal or interesting life, but can stir up drama among the main housewives. The fact that she has history with the "elders" of this series helps make her personal digs more biting.
