Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Kyle likes Lisa (so far anyway). I like Kyle. She doesn't take anyone's BS or empty flattery; she sees right through ya! Some people call her a sh!t-starter, but last season, that title went to Camille all the way! Yeah, it's sad to see New Jersey fall apart, because I loved catching up on the first 2 seasons and it really got me fired up on it, but the past few months' episodes (holiday episodes up until now) have been a bunch of nothing; just endless bickering about the same thing, but not even a substantial fight. It's like they're fighting about nothing. We know that the *real* reason for the tension is the show itself, but they make it seem like it's some big family feud that began eons ago. I definitely like the "tentpole" housewives; the ones who are more down-to-earth (Jacqueline) and who can see the big picture and give smart advice (Caroline). Caroline has always been my favorite (I love how she handled Kim G in season 2 and earlier this season), although the behind-the-scenes dirt that she doesn't actually approve of Albie's homosexuality is quite disappointing. A few days ago, I tweeted to Andy Cohen: "I do believe we've reached the Moldavian Massacre in the Real Housewives phenomena... " His response was: "I don't but that is a funny analogy" I do think it's true though, this is where the decline begins...

Yup! I know most of this isn't real, but it *felt* real in the first 2 seasons. Now it just seems so forced and contrived, and I'm surprised Caroline isn't pulling out too.

I think she looked better in the first 2 seasons. Yes, she's... unique-looking (those eyes! When I first started watching, I'd laugh at the opening sequence, cuz I'd swear her eyes were looking in two separate directions) but I think her weight loss makes her face funnier looking. Also, she doesn't have much of a forehead; her hairline just seems to start too soon. But enough physical nit-picky... Her attitude has also changed this season and not for the better. I liked her quirky personality in the first 2 seasons, but now she's just a big hypocritical mess.

ALL: Temporary Replacements
Indeed. How sad that she's never received an Emmy nomination, especially 10 years ago when a nomination still meant something. When I started watching B&B in 1996, it was reported that she had just had a small break. And when Brooke returned, she had temporarily lost her mind and was clutching on to some dolls in a hut in Barbados...

ALL: Temporary Replacements
Agreed. It fell very flat, and it was too bad all that emotional fallout happened while a temp was subbing for Lang.

All the backstage talk makes me believe that Melissa is the real sh!t-stirrer. She and pekingese puppy Kathy can go (we laugh everytime we see her on the opening because she looks like the twin sister of my boyfriend's pekingese. Same eyes, lol). Will be interesting to hear what Jacqueline will reveal (if she does, ever) what really went on behind the scenes because she's alluding to someone (Teresa) being set up at the Posche fashion show (which we won't see until sometime during the 4th season, yikes!). Maybe it's best to just end NJ after season 4 or start with a fresh new cast. It's funny, I just got on the Real Housewives bandwagon, but I hate it when "reality" shows continue to go on & on, and as a result of trying to keep the show fresh and utilizing the same cast, they start making stuff up and purposely causing drama twists that otherwise wouldn't have happened organically (if we can even use such a word for reality shows). It seems they're doing the same thing with my girl NeNe on Atlanta and her so-called split with hubby Greg. Oh well. It's basically a scripted soap opera with jittery camerawork.

LOL love those Kim images. No wonder she couldn't attend Kyle's charity event; she finally came off of a looooooong high. At first I thought it wasn't the right time for Lisa to try to have a heart-to-heart with Taylor about her problem, but then I thought: 1, they don't see each other often, and 2, I'm sure it was encouraged by Bravo producers. And I'm sorry, but Brandi? How can you discredit the magnificant acting talent of your ex, Eddie Cibrian?? Blasphemy!

Teresa is definitely a great choice for a Real Housewife on Celebrity Apprentice again. The only better pick would be Danielle Staub, because she would totally be fired right away! She simply cannot work well in a group.

DAYS: Behind the Scenes, Articles/Photos
It's funny how John Clarke aged so quickly. He looks like an old man in that 1978 magazine, and he'd only been on the show for 13 years! Wasn't Mickey supposed to be in his mid-to-late 20's when the show began in 1965? Funny how they so rapidly aged characters like Mickey and Julie, especially since the same actors were still playing the roles.

So Carole has no kids and is not married. Why is she on this show??? If Ramona had a part in getting Jill axed, good for her. Have another bottle of pinot to celebrate!

It's funny (i.e. disappointing) that they keey using alcohol as an excuse for these two basket cases when it's very clear that it's drug-induced. But I'm sure Bravo producers are instructing the ladies to use booze as the excuse whenever they speak so that they don't ruin a potentially good take when filming.

I thought Albie was gay since the first time I saw him. No shocker there.

TVBytheNumbers reports a lil over 1.5 million for the episode. Yes, Kim is all kinds of trainwreck fun. It'll be interesting to see how alliances change throughout the season. Judging by the first 2 episodes, you'd think Camille and Kyle were gonna become besties!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Yes, season 3 of NJ is dragging. Hubby said the same thing last night. When I caught up with previous seasons, we skipped past the couple episodes last season where they went on vacation because he said it wasn't worth watching (i.e. No Danielle drama). I think this season would be more interested if it were more condensed. Honestly, aside from the little argument on the beach coming next week between Teresa and Kathy, the only thing I'm looking forward to seeing is brother Joe with his shirt off... Yum!

I agree. We can do without the "I feel like I'm breaking..." sobs. I felt like the first BH episode was a calm before the storm. I wasn't disappointed, I was excited cuz I know they're gearing up for the tidal wave of drama. Even when Camille is being "good", she still has such a calculated, bitchy expression on her face, like a "you're getting what you deserve!" expression while watching everyone else having their traumas and uncomfortable conversations. I didn't see the first half of the 1st season, but I love Kyle. Is she a saint? Nah, but she stirs the pot and I like it. Kim is one of those who isn't particularly glamorous or someone to admire, but she sure is a hot mess that's always good for a laugh (laughing *at*, not with...) Lisa will do just fine being painted as "the bitch." She can wipe the floor with any of 'em. Adrienne... I wanna like her, cuz I think her intentions are good, but boy is she one nagging nagging housewife. Her and her husband are both pretty insufferable. I found her pretty blah, pretty much the weak link, last season. But it looks like her story will get juicier this season.

The View
Haven't seen the show yet, but that looks awful and doesn't fit the feel of that show at all. I still liked their first sets from The City best. The set used last season seemed too small and didn't utilize their expansive studio space.

I love Theresa's insanity and quirks of the first 2 seasons, but you are right: she's coming off bad this season. She's definitely in the wrong, but her husband it the real issue here.

Each season of any Real Housewives is generally $20 at Target. That's how I caught up on all things Jersey & Atlanta

I heart Lisa. When my friends and I used to categorize ourselves as the housewives, hubby said I was the Lisa of the group. I took it as an extreme compliment

I agree 100%. Cynthia is blah. Sheree has run her course. Kathy isn't very interesting. As for NYC, I've only watched this past season so maybe she's run her course too, but I like LuAnn. Besides, I'm certain she's got another sure-fire music hit in her!

NeNe? Theresa? Where would the drama from New Jersey and Atlanta stem from? I think if any original castmember has nothing substantial left to add, it's Atlanta's Sheree. She's just a shallow, blindly self-entitled, stuck-up woman who doesn't like the threat of other pretty women in the same room as her. So over her.

Those images are hilarious! Any others? Love my Jersey and Atlanta girls!

No, no, they can squeeze out one more year with my girl NeNe. But I'm certain this will be her last year. Even though I just got on the Real Housewives bandwagon, I feel like alot of these franchises have peaked; they've had their Moldavian Massacre, and now they're going to start to dwindle and die out. I could be completely wrong though, so don't quote me
