  1. http://www.realitytea.com/2011/10/13/rhobh-kyle-richards-publicly-apologizes-to-brandi-glanville-regrets-doing-show/ Gotta give Kyle credit. She doesn't blame editing or make excuses. She owns up to the fact that she acted like a Mean Girl.
  2. Yay! Even if it lasts just one year, that'd be a great season to watch on DVD on a cold rainy day. That's the way I look at it
  3. Loving this show too! It's definitely a show you have to (or at least *I* do) watch twice just to make sure you don't miss tiny but important parts. Makes me want to rewatch the first few episodes so that I can keep track better. And YES to everyone else's opinions that it's great that this is a straight-up DRAMA. Pure soapy goodness. No cutesy background music or lighthearted tongue-in-cheek Lynette Scavo filler. This and CW's Ringer are must-see primetime soaps for me.
  4. Can you imagine the beat-down that psychic joke would've received had she tried that [!@#$%^&*] in Atlanta? OMG, to see that woman put in her place by NeNe would be reality HEAVEN for me! I absolutely loathed that woman. LOL
  5. Just watched BH last night.... wow!!!! LOL So many hilarious moments! Dana acts like she's walking the red carpet 24/7... who asked her what designer labels she's wearing? Or her shoes? Nobody! Oh, don't worry, she'll let you know regardless! And she was practically begging Camille to let her stay at her house in Hawaii! Ugh. This woman is the definition of pathetic. Talk about a desperate housewife (oops, she's not married yet... still planning that mega-million wedding!) How strange is it to see Camille biting her tongue, refusing to let herself get involved in ANY conflict? LOL She was so vague to Brandi in her answers about Kim, nor gave any true insight into her own battles with Kyle. She's so Switzerland-neutral. Oh well. Best to just sit back and watch the others claw each other's hair out. Kyle... I'm sorry, but I love her. I know she came off really bad and Mean Girly last night (you could tell there was no good intention in starting some lil IQ game with Brandi) but Kim was even worse. I mean serious straight-up junior high playground antics. "I don't want her on our team!" :::pout::: This woman is so clearly doped up on something, and it truly was like the big polka-dotted elephant in the room. You could see it on Camille's face. You could see the concern on Kyle's face. But nobody dare actually admit it. So it will be fun to see the fur fly next week! Loved seeing adorable Lisa get emotional over her daughter's engagement P.S. Just a random observation: Why couldn't they get a decent audio recording of Adrienne's line in the opening credits? Her voice sounds SO hoarse, I can barely understand what she says!
  6. Oh boy, you SO are selling me on buying previous NYC seasons to catch up!
  7. It says that Sheila isn't a fan of Teresa's but desperately wants to get on the show so she's "switching alliances". Guess they need to cast a friend for Teresa and Sheila is willing to play that role? Ugh... so forced.
  8. Yeah, I was very surprised by that too. It seemed like an incomplete ending. I wonder if they're going to bring on season 4 really quickly? Like before the new year? But then that would mean 3 shows (NJ, BH, and ATL) airing at the same time.
  9. Well, I will give Kim Zolciak Kandi credit: "Tardy for the Party" is catchy. I think the Countess' "Chic C'est la Vie" is even *more* catchy! What a great song for a drag queen to perform, lol! But Melissa's "On Display" a very forgettable.
  10. What to be said about Beverly Hills... Brandi constantly puts her foot in her mouth. She thinks she's ballsy, but she's really just ignorant or socially awkward. That's my impression. Dana ("did you hear?" ::::points to sunglasses:::: "25,000!") is the epitome of desperation. Don't like her. Nice, but desperate. I'm looking forward to the "SLUT PIG" blow-out that'll start on next week's episode! Camille is just there. She clearly wants to fly under the radar this season and not be considered the villainess. Kim is a mess. Taylor is a mess. It's a battle to the bottom. I'm enjoying BH; it doesn't seem forced. Yet.
  11. Kyle likes Lisa (so far anyway). I like Kyle. She doesn't take anyone's BS or empty flattery; she sees right through ya! Some people call her a sh!t-starter, but last season, that title went to Camille all the way! Yeah, it's sad to see New Jersey fall apart, because I loved catching up on the first 2 seasons and it really got me fired up on it, but the past few months' episodes (holiday episodes up until now) have been a bunch of nothing; just endless bickering about the same thing, but not even a substantial fight. It's like they're fighting about nothing. We know that the *real* reason for the tension is the show itself, but they make it seem like it's some big family feud that began eons ago. I definitely like the "tentpole" housewives; the ones who are more down-to-earth (Jacqueline) and who can see the big picture and give smart advice (Caroline). Caroline has always been my favorite (I love how she handled Kim G in season 2 and earlier this season), although the behind-the-scenes dirt that she doesn't actually approve of Albie's homosexuality is quite disappointing. A few days ago, I tweeted to Andy Cohen: "I do believe we've reached the Moldavian Massacre in the Real Housewives phenomena... " His response was: "I don't but that is a funny analogy" I do think it's true though, this is where the decline begins...
  12. Yup! I know most of this isn't real, but it *felt* real in the first 2 seasons. Now it just seems so forced and contrived, and I'm surprised Caroline isn't pulling out too.
  13. I think she looked better in the first 2 seasons. Yes, she's... unique-looking (those eyes! When I first started watching, I'd laugh at the opening sequence, cuz I'd swear her eyes were looking in two separate directions) but I think her weight loss makes her face funnier looking. Also, she doesn't have much of a forehead; her hairline just seems to start too soon. But enough physical nit-picky... Her attitude has also changed this season and not for the better. I liked her quirky personality in the first 2 seasons, but now she's just a big hypocritical mess.
  14. Indeed. How sad that she's never received an Emmy nomination, especially 10 years ago when a nomination still meant something. When I started watching B&B in 1996, it was reported that she had just had a small break. And when Brooke returned, she had temporarily lost her mind and was clutching on to some dolls in a hut in Barbados...
  15. Agreed. It fell very flat, and it was too bad all that emotional fallout happened while a temp was subbing for Lang.
  16. All the backstage talk makes me believe that Melissa is the real sh!t-stirrer. She and pekingese puppy Kathy can go (we laugh everytime we see her on the opening because she looks like the twin sister of my boyfriend's pekingese. Same eyes, lol). Will be interesting to hear what Jacqueline will reveal (if she does, ever) what really went on behind the scenes because she's alluding to someone (Teresa) being set up at the Posche fashion show (which we won't see until sometime during the 4th season, yikes!). Maybe it's best to just end NJ after season 4 or start with a fresh new cast. It's funny, I just got on the Real Housewives bandwagon, but I hate it when "reality" shows continue to go on & on, and as a result of trying to keep the show fresh and utilizing the same cast, they start making stuff up and purposely causing drama twists that otherwise wouldn't have happened organically (if we can even use such a word for reality shows). It seems they're doing the same thing with my girl NeNe on Atlanta and her so-called split with hubby Greg. Oh well. It's basically a scripted soap opera with jittery camerawork.
  17. LOL love those Kim images. No wonder she couldn't attend Kyle's charity event; she finally came off of a looooooong high. At first I thought it wasn't the right time for Lisa to try to have a heart-to-heart with Taylor about her problem, but then I thought: 1, they don't see each other often, and 2, I'm sure it was encouraged by Bravo producers. And I'm sorry, but Brandi? How can you discredit the magnificant acting talent of your ex, Eddie Cibrian?? Blasphemy!
  18. Teresa is definitely a great choice for a Real Housewife on Celebrity Apprentice again. The only better pick would be Danielle Staub, because she would totally be fired right away! She simply cannot work well in a group.
  19. How sad that the footage of all 45 years is out there and available, yet nobody (Hi, Soapnet!) thinks to rerun them. I suppose there are fees that would need to be paid to the lighting director from 1968 if they dare air an episode that he worked on, etc.?
  20. It's funny how John Clarke aged so quickly. He looks like an old man in that 1978 magazine, and he'd only been on the show for 13 years! Wasn't Mickey supposed to be in his mid-to-late 20's when the show began in 1965? Funny how they so rapidly aged characters like Mickey and Julie, especially since the same actors were still playing the roles.
  21. So Carole has no kids and is not married. Why is she on this show??? If Ramona had a part in getting Jill axed, good for her. Have another bottle of pinot to celebrate!
  22. It's funny (i.e. disappointing) that they keey using alcohol as an excuse for these two basket cases when it's very clear that it's drug-induced. But I'm sure Bravo producers are instructing the ladies to use booze as the excuse whenever they speak so that they don't ruin a potentially good take when filming.
  23. I thought Albie was gay since the first time I saw him. No shocker there.
  24. TVBytheNumbers reports a lil over 1.5 million for the episode. Yes, Kim is all kinds of trainwreck fun. It'll be interesting to see how alliances change throughout the season. Judging by the first 2 episodes, you'd think Camille and Kyle were gonna become besties!
