Wow, Bob Guza back in daytime! I can't see him joining as just a breakdown writer or script writer. I wonder if he'll get a secondary co-HW title, or a Story Consultant title. The other writer has to be Mulcahey. Is MVJ reuniting the old GH team? Is Karen Harris next? But I agree with those saying you have to add younger writers as well. JHC is daytime veteran who can handle day-to-day production - I was wondering who would get this job because all the EPs of the show don't have history with day-to-day soap production.

I can't sing enough praises about Emily O'Brien. She was wonderful Friday as she was during the wedding revelation. I don't know if Emily is leaving or not, but I think it would be a shame to lose her. She's one of the best actresses on the show.

It was excellent! I think it's my favourite MCU film since Infinity War. The cameos, the jokes, the references, the action scenes, the use of "Bye Bye Bye" and "Like A Prayer" were amazing. I'm so glad I didn't get spoiled about the cameos - they were really fun to see. The Russo Brothers are back and so is Robert Downey Jr. as Victor Von Doom. Doomsday will be released in May 2026 and Secret Wars in May 2027.

I enjoyed most of it. It was pretty cool and unique. And they pulled it off it the rain! I liked how they incorporated a lot of the city, from the Seine, the Eiffel Towel, the buildings, the bridges, the Louvre, the Tuileries Garden. And for Celine to cap it off like that was beautiful.

Yeah, I think it's safe to assume he's gone (I usually wait 4-5 weeks to see). It's about time he retired because he's old. LOL. He's had a long career in daytime. So that's another writer from the 80's to retire (assuming he did).

Thanks for some of the background info, Jason! Wow! This is pretty shocking......not that Carlivati was fired (which is to be expected whenever there's a new EP), but that his replacements are Cwikly and Ford. I enjoyed most of Cwikly's (and Brash's) tenure was HW and thought they got the shaft when Higley replaced them. Glad to see Paula get another chance. Ford has been with DAYS for so long, approximately 29 (non consecutive) years in total, working at basically every writing position except for HW, until now. I hope Janet, Paula and Jeanne will be able to work together to create a great show. They've all known each other for decades, so hopefully that's a good sign that they have a great working relationship. I could see Carlivati joining Y&R, or even going back to GH, as a breakdown writer. I honestly would prefer him as HW over Griffith.

I believe there were huge floods in Florida during the week, plus multiple pre-emptions which all could've contributed to these huge drops across the board. You don't normally see 6 digit drops in total viewers.

Donna was saying Dan and Chris went to different department heads and "picking their brain" for ideas......which is utterly ridiculous. Donna, just do yourself a favour and stop trying to be an insider with all this "behind the scenes info." Otherwise, people have the right to make fun of these so called "scoops."

GH: - Erica Eng first listed as Director on June 10. GH continues to lead the way with giving minorities/females/newcomers to daytime a shot at writing or directing for the show. This is her site: https://www.ericaeng.com/

So Marin was only listed as script editor for 3 episodes. I guess Beall or Beldner (I don't even know who edits the show) was away for those episodes and couldn't do it.

Always nice to see some diversity and daytime-outsiders getting an opportunity. And he joined as a BDW Thanks for news @Errol. Dan has worked with Ron at OLTL and GH.
