Y&R September 2024 Discussion Thread
The "film noir"-esque episode where Heather dies and Sharon dumps her body off a bridge was pretty good - from the directing, the acting, the lighting, and background music. The extreme long shot of the bridge was cool. This should be Sharon Case's Emmy episode. She was phenomenal in this episode and in the flashback episode. I'm curious to see how Heather really died.

If you write in a way that has Jason and Anna conflicted about their feelings, and not like a trashy B&B style kind of way, it could be interesting. You could even bring back Kim for a short arc if things progress with Anna/Jason romantically. Plus, like you said, Jason/Robin was so long ago. The more I think about it, I think it would be pretty soapy. LOL

We'll see if Marla is temporarily editing while Marin is away, or if she stays there that means she's an associate head writer now like Beldner.

Right. Shows film out of order all the time because of the sets being up and actor availability. But to have three episodes stitched up is pretty unprecedented. I was flabbergasted when three SWs were listed. LOL

Three scriptwriters were listed today on GH. I've never seen that before. There have been times where two episodes are stitched together, but not three. Weird thing was there was only one breakdown writer listed.

The biggest star in the world right now just endorsed Harris/Walz! I had no doubt Taylor was going to do this.....I just thought it would happen in October and not right after the debate. Either way, I guess Harris just secured the white suburban women and youth vote. LOL 🤣 Now on to the debate....WTF was that about immigrants eating cats and dogs? And Trump thinks it's true because he saw people saying it on TV?? hahaha Some other gems: people having abortions AFTER giving birth, transgender operations being done on illegal aliens, and "I have concepts of a plan." I disagree. These recent Molly/Kristina scenes, like today and at the grave site, do warrant screaming matches considering what the situation is. I kind of like seeing family scenes where people yell at each other, especially if it's a serious topic. Kate/Kristen/NLG were once again great in their scenes together today.- LATEST RATINGS: August 26-30, 2024

I think so.....but I don't know enough say too much because I don't want to give out wrong information. Maybe you could tweet to Anne's daugther and ask her to ask her mom, "What does a script editor do?" LOL- 2024: The Directors and Writers Thread
Yup, that looks like the Script Editor position. We were wondering when/if Korte was going to give up the position because doing both jobs would be really hard. So after approximately 22 years, Korte is no longer GH's script editor. And I think it was smart of them to hire a veteran daytime writer for the role.- GH: September 2024 Discussion Thread
