  1. The Eras Tour is over. 😭 It's been such a huge part of my life these last 21 months, from leaving my country to see her three times, to watching live streams, to scrolling through tons of clips on IG, and to making life-long friends. I can't wait for the next tour. Billboard: Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour Wraps as First Tour to Pass $2 Billion in Sales Swift played to 10 million fans from 2023-24. On Sunday night (Dec. 8), Taylor Swift played the last of 149 shows on The Eras Tour. As reported earlier Monday, the record-setting trek grossed more than $2 billion and sold over 10 million tickets: $2,077,618,725 and 10,168,008, respectively, to be exact. The news was first reported by The New York Times. Without qualification, The Eras Tour is the highest-grossing tour of all time, by artists of any genre, and from any era in music history. If compared to data officially reported to Billboard Boxscore, it is the biggest tour ever by an unthinkable distance of more than $900 million, blasting past Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour (2022-ongoing) – the only other tour to gross more than $1 billion – by a margin of almost two-to-one. Even before The Eras Tour was announced, Swift was one of the most successful touring acts of her generation. Dating back to her first reported solo headline show at Sovereign Performing Arts Center in Reading, Pa. (April 6, 2007), she has grossed $3 billion across her career, when adding The Eras Tour’s sum to officially reported data for her prior tours to Billboard Boxscore. Previously, her biggest tour – according to Billboard Boxscore – came when Swift brought in $345.7 million and sold 2.9 million tickets on 2018’s Reputation Stadium Tour, marking a 38% leap from the earnings on 2015’s The 1989 World Tour. The Eras Tour multiplies her prior best more than six times over. -------------------- The bolded part - what an insane stat! She could've played a hundred more shows and they woul'dve all sold out. The demand was there. The scary thing is, she's brought in NEWER/MORE fans since this tour started. So there's a possibility, the next tour could be even bigger if she decides she wants to break her own record.
  2. Someone uploaded a 15min version of this???? WTF. hahaha
  3. Demo ratings for the week November 18-22, 2024
  4. Though Cody should've mentioned she looked familiar, I really liked their "first meeting." Lulu's been awake for 10 mins and she's already flirting with the first guy she meets. LOL I liked their flirtation and joking around, and talking about family, him giving her money and his number after dropping her off. It was nice. I'm sold on Alexa. She's great!

  6. Are people really holding a grudge over a couple of lines from 20+ years ago? LOL Eilbaum sometimes goes weeks without directing. It's not unusual. We know Williford is directing BTG but don't know if it's contract or not. I could be that he's just helping them out for a bit and then he'll be back at Y&R. I wonder what happened. She was Griffitih's #2 and has been with Y&R since 2008, surviving multiple regime changes.
  7. Interesting development! If she was still on staff as a Co-HW, it wouldn't matter if she wrote that particular episode or not, she would still be listed. If she's not listed again tomorrow, then it probably means she left the show (either fired or took a leave of absence).
  8. Just a reminder that these monthly discussion threads are meant to discuss what's happening now. Yes, we can discuss about the past here and there, but don't let it go on for multiple pages. We have other threads if you want to talk about the history of the show.

  11. It's sad to say but the next democratic nominee has to be straight and male. I've got two in mind right now, no matter what their skeletons are: Gavin Newsom and Hakeem Jeffries. Two straight good looking males. I would love to one day see a gay person or a woman become President, but there's a ton of people who don't, unfortunately.

  13. Going to bed. America just wasn't ready for a woman President. What a shame. I feel so bad for Americans right now and I worry about my friends and family living there.
  14. You're right. I was mistaken. Thought GOP only needed to flip 2, but they need 3.
  15. AP calls Bernie Moreno in Ohio. Republicans control the Sentate now.
  16. Associate Press just called Iowa for Trump.
  17. NBC has called it.
  18. Trump wins Iowa. Selzer was wrong. *sigh*
  19. It's depressing when you keep refreshing to see the Harris go from 70% to now 52% in PA. I feel sick too.
  20. Replubicans flipped a senate seat in West Virginia. Damn. As much as Joe Manchin gets crapped on, at least he wasn't a Republican.
  21. It's November 5th. Please, America, don't let American democracy die today. Make history by electing the first woman President and end this Trump nightmare of the last 8 years once and for all. To every American on this board, I'm rooting for you guys. Good luck!
  22. Y&R: - Amanda L. Beall last listed as Producer on October 31 - Edward J. Scott first listed as Senior Producer on November 4
  23. The offsprings of John/Marlena and Bo/Hope need to be on this show.
  24. JPL's acting is so bad.......it sometimes makes me laugh. It's so over-the-top. LOL Those pop-out eyes, those facial expressions, those hand gestures, the body movements.......and that hop entrance (WTF) at the end of Friday's episode. LMAO
