  1. And that's on the writers. It's not like they're getting some great material and the actors aren't showing up. The writing for them as sucked big time. If Naomi and Hayley were best friends, we should have more scenes with them. They've have like what, less than a handful of scenes together?
  2. Now that all the writers have been listed for BTG, we don't need to post the daily credits. Just need to post whenever there is a new writer or director or producer is listed for the first/last time.
  3. Are you trying to say that the show has to pay Ron, long after he's gone, if they edit his material? If so, I don't think that's accurate. Once Ron's cycle over and his contract is done, they don't have to pay him anymore, and it doesn't matter if his material is edited or not. Also, I don't think the scripts are so far in advance of the taping - I think it could be a month. Maybe @JAS0N47 knows this info?
  4. To be fair, all of these characters have been on for less than 12 episodes, so we don't really know the true character to some of these people because we don't actually know much about them and their history. Loved the nod to Sheila Carter!
  5. We're not doing daily threads. I hated them. LOL It clutters the forum. There's a reason why the star or circle to the left of every thread title is useful.
  6. Bibel first listed as Breakdown Writer on March 4 - Judy Tate first listed as Script Writer on March 4 - Teresa Zimmerman first listed as Breakdown Writer on March 5 - Jazmen Darnell Brown first listed as Script Writer on March 5 - Gregori J. Martin first listed as Breakdown Writer on March 6 - Cheryl L. Davis first listed as Script Writer on March 6 - Christopher Dunn first listed as Breakdown Writer on March 7 - Danielle Paige first listed as Script Writer on March 7 The show listed Phideaux Xavier as Phideaux Xaviar on Thursday and Friday's episode.
  7. It sure does! LOL I'm obsessed with it too. I literally listen to it for a hour straight on repeat (trying to learn the lyrics). I've never done this for a non-Taylor Swift song before. 😂 The beginning of the song has this sound effect that is similar to the sound effect at the beginning of Taylor's "Gorgeous" so that's the first I connected to Taylor. The lyrics, the melody, the production, the use of the background vocals, the use of the repetition of some of the lyrics: You're not the guy that cheats (The guy that cheats) / And you're afraid that she might leave (That she might leave). The post Chorus as well: [Post-Chorus] Uh-oh, oh, you love a good girl Uh-oh, oh, you love a good girl bad Uh-oh, oh, you make a bad girl Uh-oh, oh, you make a bad girl mad A psychotic love theme How bad do you want me? All of these things were very Taylor-esque to me. I can't wait to sing/shout these lyrics when I hopefully attend my first Gaga concert. She better go on tour! LOL Other songs I really liked were: Vanish Into You, LoveDrug, Don't Call Tonight, Shadow Of A Man. I think it's a pretty good album and I'm sure I'll like it even more as I continue to listen to it. Would love to see her go full on synth pop and do more songs likes like HBDUWM.
  8. Thanks for gathering all the social media stuff. It's nice to see writers posting stuff.
  9. I wished they focused a bit more on Brooklyn finding out her baby was a boy, and her giving up the baby. As usual, the scenes were too short. I did like seeing Brooklyn bringing up Lulu's abortion and how they both made choices that they thought were right for them. Amanda Setton did a really good job in Friday's episode. I don't care if Amanda doesn't do sex scenes, or wants to show a lot of skin. I think she's a solid actress overall. I hope she's stays with GH for a long time.
  10. Ratings for the week February 24-28, 2025
  11. Favourite song on the album. It’s so good! I’ve listened to it probably 10+ times already. 😂 Will post more later.
  12. I think he was at AMC too for bit - I can't source it though because AMC, for some reason, didn't list their music composer, just music supervisor and music directors. In the first post of the "Soap Opera Background Music Thread," I posted this: Sounds like Marty Davich's piano cues: 0:57 - 2:15; 2:49 - 3:38; 5:54 - 6:38: This is probably my favourite of his DAYS work. Such a beautiful piece.
  13. I loved his work at GH/DAYS and he was one of my favourite daytime composers. I especially loved Sonny and Brenda's theme. RIP Marty.
  14. I noticed this too. Maybe things got cut for whatever reasons (production didn't go well? the episodes sucked?) so these scenes got bumped up?
  15. I agree, today was repetitive, especially Dani. We're only on episode 9 and we've seen Dani confront Haley, and hookup with Andre, at least 3 times already. I hope today was the last time we here about the elevator baby. Kat/Eva was pretty much the same thing as yesterday. Shocked by that last scene with Chelsea and the husband/wife. For a second there, I thought Andre was going to join them when got that text and had the leave. Gregori Martin and Cheryl Davis. And they spelled Phideaux Xavier's name wrong: they had Xaviar. LOL. If you're the one who's putting the names in the credits, wouldn't you just copy/paste the names, instead of typing it out.
  16. My lovely Kat finally got something to do today and I loved every moment of Kat/Eva's first meeting. I agree that Colby Muhammed and Ambyr Michelle are the two best young actors on the show, so to have be rivals is perfect because I love both characters. Both actors/characters can bring it, so you know it's not going to be one sided, like one actor outshining the other by a mile. I also really like the contrast between them. And please keep Kat's fashion style - I look forward to see what cute outfits she wears. The last time I really cared about what someone was wearing was probably Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl (I loved her headbands). LOL I also agree that it's great the show is mentioning real social media apps and real gossip sites. No stupid made up apps/sites like other soaps do.
  17. Ah yes, Anne Schoettle is a good guess! Maybe DAYS offered her a job as a BDW and GH let her out after her first cycle ended.
  18. Pretty good numbers for BTG's debut. I think it's a given the show will drop in week 2 and probably week 3 as well. But I think it would be good news if the show stayed around at 2.0-2.1 for a while and hopefully the show will slowly inch up as it gets better and better.
  19. I think it's okay to show shirtless guys who don't have a six pack, just as it's okay to show women who aren't size 0 in a bikini. I continue to enjoy Drew as this type of bad guy. We need more villains like this - someone who isn't a threat to kill someone, or trying to take over the world, or a mob related bad guy. Love watching him reveal to Portia that he knows about falsified records.
  20. Oh right, Rick is back. So that's one, and let's say he replaced Jeanne on the BDW team. So now they need two to replace Ryan Quan and Jamey. I don't think we know for sure if Sheri was a writer during the last strike.
  21. Jamey joining BTG was obvious. LOL He's replacing Gregori Martin? Where is that info from? I'm interested in seeing who replaced Jamey and Ryan Quan at DAYS. Might we see some old names who worked with Paula and Jeanne before?
  22. And it would give Emma/Anna some real conflict. Then later down the road, they can go on missions together and have Anna mentor Emma.
  23. Agreed. I'm not a fan of the theme song, but I watch it to see Colby's smile. 😍 LOL
  24. I would love to see that. It would definitely make her more interesting.
  25. Same here. I just rewatched it last year for the first time. Of all the people GH choses to become their Sydney Bristow and it's Joss.
