Oh wow. That's really bad. LMAO @VelekaCarruthers Thanks again for keep us updated with those linkedin profiles. I always thought MVJ's breakdown team was put together in an usual way because she's never wrote breakdowns/been in the "writers room" with any of those breakdown writers at BTG. I'm surprised she didn't bring in any of the BDWs that she worked with at GH. And then Dunn/Carlivati only taking one year deals to help kick off the show. Just a weird way to create a team.

I've never done 4 concerts in 8 nights before and it's something I would definitely do again. I first booked Gaga then check to see who else was in town and it was just perfect timing that those artists were there at the same time. You are going to have so much fun! Gaga fans are awesome to be around at a concert - if you like getting up and singing and dancing all night. LOL

Finally saw Lady Gaga in concert on the 19th!! She was amazing and was everything I expected from her. The singing, the dancing, the sets, the costumes, the theatrics, the performances were fantastic. I was in a great section that had tons of hardcore fans who were singing, standing up and dancing for the entire concert. She played the first perfect amount of old school hits and plenty from the new album. I went in spoiler free, so throughout the concert, I was like, I've always loved her songs and now I feel so stupid not going to her previous concerts. I won't make that mistake again. I will go to every tour that she does from now on. While in Vegas, I also saw Kelly Clarkson, Backstreet Boys (at the Sphere!! it was so cool), and Beyoncé. It was a concert filled vacation. LOL

Going to commercials and the last scene of an episode are all slow fades to black now. No more quick cuts (and there hasn't been a lot of this in between scenes now either). Wonder if they took the week off to edit these episodes or if they were already in the can. Anyway, I like the improvement. Now just improve the music direction and I'll be even more happy.

Not just the writing, but the editing and music as well. I'm sorry, but you can produce an American soap like a British soap. You need background music when you go from one scene to another and you need a couple of seconds before you cut to the next scene. These silent quick-cuts just aren't soapy, especially going to commercial breaks. I blame Ducksworth and MVJ on this because JHC did not to these things at AMC.

Really enjoyed Thursday's episode with just having the vets on. Just having them sit around and talk about the past and love for John was great way to end this tribute to John/Drake. Superficial note: my God, Kristian Alfonso and Missy Reeves were so freakin beautiful back then. Kristian with the the model looks and Missy with the girl-next-door looks. Just wow.

Ratings for the week June 2-6, 2025

Today's episode was excellent, especially the recreation of the garden of flowers with John/Marlena's voiceover from 1999 - that was brilliant. I also liked how two things that were John's big traits were mentioned: his eyebrow lift and "That's a fact." LOL I think out of everyone's eulogies (I enjoyed them all), the one that hit me hard the most was Paul's, mainly because of Christopher Sean's tears and emotion. These last three episodes have been an amazing tribute to John/Drake. The little girl playing Rachel is really good. I think she's going to be a huge star one day.

That's for the update. I liked JDB's script too. So that makes it two short stints at two different soaps now for JDB. Maybe daytime isn't for him. Will be interesting to see who replaces JDB and Lynn Martin on the SW team.

GH: - Rory Kramer first listed as Director on June 10 It looks like he's a music video director, though he hasn't directed a video since 2020.

That was one of the best grandslam finals. Alcaraz comes all the way back down 2 sets to 0, and three match points in the 3rd set, to win it in a 5th set tie-break. And the quality of play was excellent - so many great shots. What a battle!

Add Dr. Montgomery to list of fine women on this show! I hope the show goes forward with Madison/Chelsea and then once they're developed, bring back Allison, who is now divorced or a widow, for a Madison/Chelsea/Allison triangle. It would definitely be the hottest triangle in daytime.
