It's really uncommon for Bill Bell's wiritng style because there is zero build-up and some of the first episodes are really painful to watch. And I like Eric and Brooke as a couple... ...and can get somehow behind their motivation to seek solace in each other. LOL

Terri Ann Linn left in 1990 on her own wishes, I think. Bill Bell brought her back for the longer guest stin in 1992. After that she was only seen for the BRIDGE wedding in 1994, if I recall correctly. Brad Bell subbed for his dead as headwriter in 1992 for 3 months and officially took over the reigns in 1993 - so no connection at all. You have to ignore the season numbering; just go by the acual episode numbers... I think all of the previously uploaded episodes are in the Vault!?

Exactly. The scenes in 1992 around Ridge&Taylor's wedding when the show introduced Sly and Zach showed great sister chemistry and should have been used...

For some reason they ill-labeled some episodes as season 4 which were still from the third season. „Season 5“ will probably the actual season 4... I always thought it was an interesting choice of Bill Bell to bring on Felicia and drop Kristen after the character was in a hot storyline with Clarke which they ruined with Mick.

I was just seeing screencaps and couldn’t help but sigh! An actual actor playing the part of Billy Abbott!? We have come a long way since... and approximately 15 wannabes inbetween Eric Braeden has rarely been to Germany in recent decades and wasn’t asked to dub himself.

Really? SHE wanted out at B&B in 2004 when Brad Bell offered her a nice longterm contract because she did not want to commute. I really liked Felicia from 1990-1991 with Jake; the Zach story with goons and gambling debts of Jack Hamilton not so much.

Jake, Margo, Clarke left around June-July 1992; Felicia and Zach left in early December 1992. Colleen Dion was not seen until Felicia returned in 1997 in a recurring capacity before disappaering in Fall (?) of that year again and not returning for her final story arc in 2004... in 2005 Lesli Kay took over!

It's definitely not the origianl storyline direction: Caroline's first cancer doctor is a man... I think it was once mentione that Bill Bell was really impressed by Hunter Tylo and therefor quickly expanded the role - I think KKL's pregnanccy in 1990 might have factored in as well for the shift of focus for Ridge. Actually one of the very few believable widower stories on soaps...

I think it is episode #804 which aired June 6, 1990 Taylor was not Caroline‘s Original oncologist... ...not to mention that she miraculously became a psychiatrist two (?) months later.

A looooong journey indeed. LOL This Eric&Brooke kiss is still a shocker. It happens out of the blue - there was builtup but rather short..

It was a giver - and I can live with it. The 2019 one however... better than Jack & NuDiane or Genevieve as part of the Abbott week. Those choices continue to be either great surprises, really through through and overall highly watchable.

It's one of those time frames where my personal records are not 100% correct. My assumption is that B&B was NOT fully pre-empted in January 1991, but there were several in Feb/Mar/Apr 1991: I have the obvious January 1 plus Feb 18, March 7 and March 17, April 5 & 8 & 9 as pre-emptions as based on the list of Bill Bell B&B scripts; usually there should have been March Madness and therefore these April pre-emptions might be incorrect after all. I don't know: I'm pretty sure that we had 7 missing episodes in the first 4 months of 1991, though.

They were. I think Joanna Johnson told Bill Bell around Xmas 1989 that she wanted out and leave B&B when her contract expired in March 1990. Bill Bell managed to sign JJ to a short contract extension so that he could finish their Love story in style. Hence the quick turnaround to the wedding and in another 6 months Caroline will be dead

This was not the bad decision, IMO: recasting (!?) Hope and killing her was the bad decision.

+1 I'd also add the pristine picture quality of some of these uploads as a dream. They play really well on my TV - unlike some frickling VHS tape recordings.

For the data nerds out there: Rick & Ambers wedding is # 2989-2991 which originally aired February 22-24, 1999 on CBS Taylor rejects Pierce is #2994, airdate March 1, 1999 This would be AMAZING. 1993-1995 is a period I'd love to rewatch and even with all the treats we have received lately (Amy Silence, rusclassicfan and the Vault...) it is still the time frame where he have seen the least episodes.
