  1. He subbed for a week when Terry Lester was sick. Don't think it was an outside project.
  2. WOW - I have NEVER heard about this as well. Maybe even Don D. had forgotten about it when they had the awful George Kaplan story under LML.
  3. This is is indeed marvellous. I'm now optimistic that we will get at least the first 1000 episodes eventually...
  4. By 1986 he was nothing more than a talk-to - similar to Casey. Wasted opportunity, but then, the show wasn’t so Newman centric like in later year back in the 80s so there was not much need for him to drive a story of his own.
  5. You may use google auto-translate on this page: http://history.soap-reichundschoen.de/1000_-_1999/1100_-_1200/1100_-_1200.html
  6. What a treat: just took a quick peek into 1/18/1985 with lots of action at the Chancellor Mansion: Esther and Brenda Dickson's Jill sharing scenes, the rarely seen dining room of the mansion and of course Kay's lovely idea to show John and Jill some photos of her "winter cabin memories". Andy's major story was Farren, the singer from 1986-1987... the rest not so much.
  7. Not very video-savvy here: A very basic program is "MP4Splitter". There are definitely better ones out there, though.
  8. In quite a chunk of episodes uploaded graciously by AmySilence the closing credits were not the correct ones - taken from an episode from around the time frame but not the actual episode. Sometimes for 5 episodes straight she would uses the same closing titles - for reasons we don’t know about.
  9. Haha That look on MTS's face as well; utterly shocked - like she has never been slapped before. LOL That's getting into business, Nikki!
  10. They did an ITUNES album called "Music of Passion and Romance" back in 2007 or so. I bought it.
  11. I bought his CD for my mom. Thought his singing wasn’t too bad. And the early Nick stories were really nice and a welcome change.

  13. I hated Kimberly with a passion as well. She was a classic Bell show virgin-heroine. When she turned stalkerish/crazy after Macy’s death I was impressed, though. And really liked her as a foil for Thorne/Brooke who made such a great couple. While not my all time favorite era of B&B, the show was damn good back then...
  14. I think all of them were not the best singers but it was cute. I vividly remember a montage of Rick&KImberly on the beach with Miss Cafagna being the artist of the song in the background.
  15. To make things worse: Ashley Lyn Caravan (Kimberly) also tried her luck at singing at the time she was on B&B.
  16. Thanks! its so weird that the Venice remote episodes are so hard to come by on YouTube. The show was firing on all cylinders back then - and the backdrop was just beautiful. It pains me myself that I didn’t save it properly... Thorne & Brooke and THE CONSPIRACY (c), Becky demanding her baby back, Kimberly modeling on Piazza San Marco, Tawny chasing Becky (?) atop the clock tower, Amber coming clean to Rick. This was all spectacular and/or cheesy. But it was MUST SEE
  17. The amount of 80s clips being uploaded is mindblowing. Not even a fraction of this material was ever on YouTube beforehand. this is such a goldmine! We are so spoiled! And greedy for wanting to see the full episodes now. Lol
  18. Yes and no. Videoland is a pay-only-site - right? With a monthly subcription price; I also don't think that a free VPN works on there, so it costs as well. A one-time donation/fee /whatever is not that out of league considering these two factors, IMO. We had a similar conversation many years ago on Wost.org (world of Soap Themes in the dial-up internet days...) when a pay-wall got raised on this site. I'm more curious if the B&B are actually uploaded to the password-protected google-drive or not. Just checked: Videoland is just 11 episodes further up than in The Vault right now: #785 https://www.videoland.com/series/1161/the-bold-classics/3331
  19. Have you been uploading the Videoland episodes in The Vault so far? If yes: much appreciated! Thanks for sharing. I really liked that hairdo on Bobbie Eakes...
  20. Maybe he/she is just on Summer holiday... I'm keeping my fingers crossed for more uploads soon!
  21. That’s the gist I did get from watching. Lol whos the actor, did Max have any ties to someone else on the canvas, or was it shorttterm sidekick role?
  22. It's sooo good. Haven't seen the other 80s uploads yet: who is Max?
  23. It’s freaking unbelievable. I feel sooooo spoiled! And am eternally grateful to our secret benefactor. tapes were rather costly back in the day and stack up a lot of space: Many soap collector have clips or “best of’s” in their collection instead of full episodes; at least anything pre-2000s when tapes got cheaper/the DVD came into fashion.
