  1. This was not the bad decision, IMO: recasting (!?) Hope and killing her was the bad decision.
  2. +1 I'd also add the pristine picture quality of some of these uploads as a dream. They play really well on my TV - unlike some frickling VHS tape recordings.
  3. For the data nerds out there: Rick & Ambers wedding is # 2989-2991 which originally aired February 22-24, 1999 on CBS Taylor rejects Pierce is #2994, airdate March 1, 1999 This would be AMAZING. 1993-1995 is a period I'd love to rewatch and even with all the treats we have received lately (Amy Silence, rusclassicfan and the Vault...) it is still the time frame where he have seen the least episodes.
  4. Thank you - it’s a very soaps B&B period. Back then I hated Kimberly and the Amber overdose was a bit much, but compared to the present it was magnifient soap and the show was firing on all cylinders. Everything felt in place after some hiccups in 1997-1998...
  5. For me this was actually one of the first music cues that i didn’t like and thought lack class and elegance of classic Y&R. Little did I know that it was gold compared to what we got later on...
  6. Best Catfights: Macy vs. Brooke Date: July, 21, 1999 Episode: #3094 -> the closing credits do not match the episode though; the cast credits do not belong to the week where this episode aired!? Stephanie vs. Brooke Date: August, 03, 1999 Episode: #3103
  7. Here you go: https://wetransfer.com/downloads/a7ac2f6542945acb81193be21cb4d7f120200510074004/ae1eac851d90c3c28a1bf5f11281cfe020200510074038/6eba95
  8. These episodes are soooo good with Clarke's duplicity. It's truly a house of cards that he is building... just wait what happens next about "the dream house". Hence, it is nice concept that it is eventually Kristen who does the same to Clarke that he did to her - with Mick. However, the writing is not there for Kristen or Dan McVicar is a much better actor because I've always been TEAM CLARKE in this storyline. You can click your way though and download one file at a time. I just started my first download of the 1999 episodes. I seems to take 35 minutes per file without registering...
  9. TempKeith was such a fine actor and had great chemistry with Jess Walton. Too bad nothing came out of it...
  10. How cool! Thank you! 2003 and 2004 used to be around on the internet in its entirety. First on YT, then on Dailymotion. Recordings from the English DIVA channel. Not sure if these videos are still to be found these days... She was Becky's colleague at Forrester International in Paris. Regardless of her status, it was recurring role which didn't last long. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0884419/?ref_=tt_rv_t6
  11. I didn’t hate either of them and Sandra Nelson was even delicious as Phyllis. Different from The Stafford but a fun Phyllis why didn’t you like her?
  12. The Y&R choices are soooooo grand! B&B‘s pale badly compared to this, even though the episodes itself are solid. https://www.cbs.com/recommended/news/1009809/five-days-of-foes-and-fashion-for-the-young-and-the-restless-and-the-bold-and-the-beautiful-theme-weeks/
  13. B&B and Y&R historically begab their new seasons at their anniversary - therefore both in March... however, in 2012 (?) or so CBS began to renew its daytime show in sync with the rest of Shows. The soap season Therefore now starts in early September.
  14. Not sure for 1987, but for the other years I should have the correct airdates 1987: 001-188 1988: 189-441 1989: 442-693 1990: 694-947 Most importantly: AmySIlence's season numbering is incorrect. Season 4 did not start until March 1990...
  15. Jill made a plea on his behalf at the very last second. It was very Brenda Dickson-ish dramatic
  16. He was convicted over shooting Jill. It was actually her Masseur Sven which eventually came out
  17. It’s too bad that the show never really recaptured the magic of Clarke and Dan McVicars Talents after his 1996 return. There were some brights spots like tongue in cheek talks with Lauren in 1997, the Morgan Story in 2000, the brief CJ/Mark quarrel in 2002 and some early Jackie M stuff in 2007 oder so. Overall, a majorly wasted male role and actor. Typical B&B pattern. In Amy Silence‘s current uploads from December 1989 there is a lot of Bill Spencer Senior. And Jim Storm is an amazing actor. Unfortunately this is one of the very rare moments where he is adequately used on this show... there will be more meaty with Margo and Jake in 1990/1991 but that’s it besides the usual Caroline or Karen meddling
  18. Kristen & Clarke were dynamite. Her only good story ever, though. I was impressed that Kristen & Mick even got a remote scene in 1989 at LaBrea I had never heard of before. Bill Bell surely invested in this couple but somehow everything about Mick bombed. At least, it never transpired why THREE women were so interested in him at the same time with Donna, Macy and Kristen.
  19. I started watching with Brooke&Eric being married and Stephanie being a bitter b*tch, so I always liked them together even though Brooke never treated Eric with enough decency. I might have feltdifferently about Brooke&Eric if I had seen the show in chronological order, dunno. I HAAAATED Eric and Beth, though. I was totally team Stephanie during that storyline.
  20. It came indeed out of the blue but Stephanie was her typical meddling self back then, Eric the usual horny Brooke defending goat, so I guess: it all made perfect sense. LOL And the build-up is still there as the marital problems started to be visible in late November and there is still some way to go until Eric hits it up with Brooke. Looking forward to the next couple of episodes...
  21. I think we are greeding with all the richess of uploads as of late. With full episodes and hundreds of consecutive ones at that. It just shows that thanks to the worldwide appeal of B&B, there is the chance to find most shows ever aired online. With patience... Back to the wonderful AmySilence's uploads: I have been finishing the Deveney Dixon storyline which found its climax in episode #683. On the Polish Marek Logan channel back in the day, there were quite a bit of missing episodes and the dubbing voice sometimes prevented me from getting the actual gist. What a treat to finally see it in its entirety. And Judith Borne who played "Angela" was VERY good. A pity that they never fully put closure on that character/storyline. The ending was fulfilling but not ideal. Recasting Thorne was also quite a burden, but I think Jeff Trachta did a better job with the revelation than Clayton Norcross would have been able to deliver. What are your thoughts on the Deveney Dixon storyline? With the next couple of episode 1989 will come to a close and some MAJOR reshuffling will start. Kristen and Mick will be dropped (THANK GOD - I now hate them more than I remembered) and Joanna Johnson's decision to leave B&B in 1990 will cause some epic but shortlived moments. It's not until long that Brooke comes into Eric's orbit. The seeds have already been layed.
  22. While there were ups and downs before I quit in 2011... and then returned around MAB's exit and then left for good in 2014 (?) with JFP destroying the show's production values for good. Back to the main topic: I'm super excited for 1981 to show up on the www as soon as possible. Sounds amazing!
