Maybe Ava has guilt because she turned on Julian before Sonny killed him. Maybe in her mind she blames Alexis because if she didnt leave him, he would still be here. Maybe she is gaslighting Sonny too because he caused Julian's death.

I think he walked because he didnt want to be a yes man to FV like Korte who is a yes woman
