  1. Same in higher definition:
  2. Bring back Réal Andrews as Taggert, and reestablish him as Trina's father. (Regardless of whether the paternity test was altered or not, they can still recognize Taggert as Trina's father of the heart.) Then cut Curtis. Problem solved. Réal can recur while Tabyana is on contract. . well yes I'd like to see the Ward family, but I still want Trina/Tabyana on contract.
  3. I vehemently disagree with any suggestion that the character Trina be cut altogether or changed to recurring. *In my opinion* Trina should be one of the leads of the show. Why would you want her time cut or reduced? There's plenty she could do. She doesn't need Spencer to be relevant!
  4. I strongly dislike the general opinion that a character cannot thrive without a love interest. (to clarify: This is not directed at anyone here. I'm referring to general commentary across the internet about all characters on all shows). Especially female characters. I truly believe that female characters can be strong, fun, and vital, even if currently without a love interest. Yes this is a soap, but love interests shouldn't be required nowadays.
  5. https://tvtonight.com.au/2024/05/days-of-our-lives-the-young-and-the-restless-move-to-10play.html DAYS and Y&R have been screening on FOX One and on 9GEM. Both are exiting Foxtel. Both soaps will continue on broadcast TV via 9GEM -- with *older* episodes until contracts expire (late 2024 for Y&R, late 2025 for DAYS. From Monday, June 3, 2024, DAYS will be available to view online via 10Play (10play.com.au) , fast-tracked from the U.S. From Monday, July 1, 2024, Y&R is also fast-tracked from the U.S. online via 10Play (10play.com.au) Both DAYS and Y&R are also "coming soon" to broadcast TV via "Network 10", which would likely bump up the network’s daytime soap schedule alongside Neighbours & B&B. Monday, June 3, 2024, at 11am, "Network 10" broadcast TV is also adding The Drew Barrymore Show to screen weekdays. It has previously screened on Arena. Network 10 indicates “more details to be revealed soon” on changes to its daytime schedule.

  8. His last airdate is in July. (link to source) I don't know if he airs between now and then or not.
  9. Pretty sure that was a script/actor/director error. Johnny has never referred to Roman as his uncle before. Roman has always been Johnny's grandfather.
  10. There are 50 images, not 49. Cody is there. Dom Zamprogna isn't in the photoshoot but he was out of town on the day of the photoshoot and he's still with the show. Tristan Rogers tweeted on May 13 that he's still at GH.
  11. Well I was replying to Khan's suggestion that both Finn and Chase die together in an auto accident. So if Chase dies, then don't have Brook Lynn (as Violet's aunt by marriage) take in Violet. And/or don't have Tracy take in Violet to the Quartermaine clan as a gesture to honor Gregory. Just let Hayden return and take Violet offscreen before anything happens to Finn or Chase. The viewers don't need Violet on our screens. And we don't need another story of a child dying tragically. So let Hayden take Violet far away!
  12. Please don't leave Violet to be raised by Elizabeth or the Quartermaines!

  14. Yes. On November 12, 2023, there was a Coastal Entertainment live fan zoom event with Josh Swickard and Amanda Setton. This was discussed during that event. Josh and Amanda said they don't want to show their characters in hot lovemaking scenes, because they are married to other people in real life, and they are concerned what will happen when their real-life children become teens and see GH clips online. Here is a recap of that part of the zoom event: https://soaphub.com/general-hospital/news-gh/ghs-josh-swickard-and-amanda-setton-talk-boundaries-and-a-special-kind-of-steamy/ "Josh and I are both married. We have young families, we’re wildly committed to our spouses, and it’s a boundary for us" "the writers and the producers are super respectful of that, and we’re very grateful, and we are willing to chemistry it up and make-out up and make it all good in that way. But in terms of side by side in a bed with bra straps, it’s a bit of a boundary for us." "I think we get pretty steamy. Like I think the way they write us and the gazing and the kissing and the loving and the hands on each other’s faces, and there’s a neck…it’s great." "I think there’s ways to do it…there’s ways that they can massage the topic of, you know, falling into…bed,” chimed in Swickard. The actor explained it had to do with his growing brood. “Right now, I’m raising kids, and I’m like…they’re going to have the Internet in 13 years and thinking all those things through and wanting to do right, as an actor and wanting to do right by your family and throwing that all in a blender, it can be stressful at times."

  16. May 19, 2024: Biden gives the commencement speech at Morehouse College.(men's historically Black college/university) He talks about racism, about a two-state solution for Palestine, and about hope. Worth watching the whole speech. Transcript here: https://www.c-span.org/video/transcript/?id=60321 (at one point he says "I've been vice president to the first Black president and become my close friend and president to the first woman vice president. Wh- - I have no doubt that a Morehouse man will be president one day, just after an AKA from Howard. (referring to Kamala Harris being part of the AKA sorority at Howard University).
  17. Eileen Davidson to be interviewed on Michael Fairman live youtube Tuesday May 21 at 2pm Eastern (11am Pacific) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omrjZlsWYNg
  18. In the Lynn Martin interview I cited (Link) at about 16 minutes into the interview she says: Especially, you know, and I love the Writers Guild -- they give me my insurance and my pension -- but they were like yeah “go on strike and they can't fire you when you get back”. And we went back -- and they were like “you know what your contract is up” because our contracts go in 13 weeks. Every 13 weeks, our necks are on the chopping block.
  19. A writer (Lynn Martin) from Y&R said in February that she and other contract writers were let go three months after they returned from the strike. (Link) She pointed out that writers can be let go for whatever reasons every 13-week cycle, (same as actors). The implication is that writers who were on contract as writers before the strike, would be brought back after the strike, but they'd only be guaranteed to be kept for duration of their 13-week cycle. (It wasn't clear if the cycle reset from the beginning after the strike, or if this meant cycles that started before the strike would finish out after the strike.) My point being that maybe they had to bring firedguy's wife back after the strike but they probably don't have to keep her longer than whenever her 13-week cycle ends. We'll see in three months who is on the writing team then.
  20. Oh yes I understood that *your* post was intended as such, because it was a demonstration of the obviously ridiculous findings of AI, a quick moment of lightness. My issue was with the other poster's post, which seemed to be intended as a serious question.
