The People article says: "The actor will reprise his role as criminal defense attorney Jack Finnegan in a guest appearance on Monday, July 1, PEOPLE has confirmed. In the episode, Jack will have an unexpected run-in with his estranged wife, Dr. Li Finnegan, played by Naomi Matsuda. The character will return again on July 12 in a dramatic storyline involving Li and his son."

I was glad Gabi killed Nick. I felt she was justified. Nick tried to rape Gabi and later tried to control her, and she really did feel she had no choice. I mean objectively she had a choice, but I totally get why she felt she didn't.

@Errol you were offline in April when I posted this, but back on page 49 of this thread, I asked about doing sports cross-promotions with CBS -- regarding soccer being scheduled to disrupt soaps shortly after The Gates debuts. (Link to my detailed post) Is there any way to get that proactively coordinated? That would really help. I mean, if you have a way to talk directly with CBS about that.

I watched Jon Stewart's post-debate monologue last night. What a mistake! He's horrible. He spent the entire time making fun of Biden's age, and said nothing about the horrible racist things Trump said. (Trump used words about immigration but it was just blatant racism). Jon Stewart didn't call that out. Just awful.

May 22 insert episode $15472A GH doesn't tape far ahead, so I think it was likely the May 22 insert episode that caused Easton's final airdate to shift from June 26 to June 27.

I'm so glad I missed most of the Guza era. I can't follow a lot of conversation in these threads about storylines I didn't see, but I can accept that if this is what I missed.

Yes, June 27! I mentioned it mid-thread but will edit the opening post to clarify. This is what seems to have happened: He recorded that goodbye video on his final taping day, and he held onto it. Then he posted it on June 26, which he expected to be his final airdate. However there was an insert/filler episode that moved his final airdate to June 27. It seems that he inadvertently leaked his exit one day early.
