I was in high school studying Shakespeare in the early 1970s. Our school arranged a special screening at the local theatre and we had a "field trip" on the bus to go to the theatre to see Romeo and Juliet.

Oh the show made an error in the closing credits. They listed Vanessa's husband Douglas McBride as Douglas McBridge.

March 2, 2025 European summit on Ukraine, held in London. Earlier in the day, UK Prime Minister Starmer had spoken to the leaders of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, who would not be attending this summit in person. Starmer reiterated that Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania have roles in supporting Ukraine and all parties "agreed that Europe must unite" to get "the best outcome" from any peace deal, which would be "vital for Europe's future security".

I meant to say, after reading all the info about Cousins' OLTL character with aliases, I can see why Cousins was cast on Y&R as the suspicious character who turned out to be actually two twins, with the evil one masquerading as the good one to manipulate the situation.

Vernon's grandson (Nicole's son) Martin the congressman. Interestingly Martin and his husband Brad "Smitty" both seem to be wanting more. They're married with two teen children they've mentioned but we haven't seen yet. They seem happy but ... Smitty is a bored househusband who apparently wants his journalism career back? and Martin loves being a congressman but says he wants something more, but he's not sure what it is that he wants.

They did! They had that conversation after getting dressed, then undressed and had sex a second time. Then they got dressed again and she gave him some fuzzy pink handcuffs, which which she wants him to arrest her later tonight. He then stood behind her and wrapped himself around her but that scene ended ... and Naomi was next shown at the club with family, so presumably they resisted doing it a third time.

Well I just *assumed* that Hayley didn't want anyone to find out and that's why she thanked Vanessa, but Vanessa would have kept quiet regardless because she's professional. But who knows. Maybe there's more to it?

Vanessa served as real estate agent for her client Hayley, and, as a professional, she kept the confidence of her clients, and didn't tell anyone (not even the Duprees) that Hayley and Bill were buying a home in Fairmont Crest. Vanessa didn't tell anyone until after the deal was closed and Hayley had the keys. And then we saw the scene afterwards where Vanessa went to the club and told the Duprees who bought the house.

I think this is Michele Val Jean's vision, so not really inspired by other shows. Also Sheila Ducksworth said she'd dreamed of a Black soap for decades and was finally introduced to Michele Val Jean. I've never seen Greenleaf. I did watch all of Queen Sugar and this isn't really like that, but I imagine there might be a few serious scenes at some point that explore things deeply like Queen Sugar did. BTG reminds me somewhat of the shortlived primetime soap "Promised Land" about about the Latine wealthy California winery Sandoval family, and their secrets. The major difference is that Promised Land periodically showed scenes from prior decades to enrich the story and show character progression, jumping around in time like "This Is Us". This factored in when scandals were revealed. I was disappointed when Promised Land was cancelled. The characters drew me in. ("Promised Land". Not to be confused with "The Promised Land".) It ran for one 10-episode season on ABC. I liked Ambitions but I think Robin Givens' performance wasn't layered enough -- some of that may have been due to her acting, and some may have been due to Jamey Giddens' writing. Michele Val Jean had a producer credit on Ambitions but I don't think she wrote any of it.

Per Jason47's stats: the character was played by: Donald Li for 3 episodes July-August 2014, Michael Hagiwara for 4 episodes August 2019, and Clyde Kusatsu for 5 episodes 2022-2023. (Back in 2003, Clyde Kusatsu played Japanese sushi chef "Nobu" who was a guest on Jack&Jennifer's TV show "In the House").
