That pact never happened. It was a retcon for this recent dialogue. Are you praising the retcon from the dialogue to finagle an explanation, in order to make the current story work ... ? Well okay, I guess? But those of us who followed the original storyline know that didn't happen onscreen. The discussion of what to tell the children never happened onscreen, because the the children were too young onscreen for such discussions, so there was no reason for the adults to discuss onscreen what to tell them. Sami left Salem with the children to move to California after EJ "died" for a movie thing. At that time the children were young, maybe early elementary school. Then when EJ was found alive in the warehouse, she took him to Italy for burn recovery. All that time, Allie and Johnny (and Sydney) were offscreen. Then all three children were offscreen for years, with Sami visiting Salem for very short stints occasionally but no children ever shown. (Will was already an adult and a father before EJ "died".) Finally Allie and Johnny were SORASed and brought to Salem as young adults.

This is *very* oversimplified but ... per state and federal employment laws (as they currently exist before politicians might gut them in the future) ... Those employment laws say that if someone is injured or ill or newly-disabled, and cannot do their regular job duties, then the employer should find them a parallel job working for the same employer. For example, a contract employee is injured doing forklift work in a warehouse then he/she is reassigned to a new job doing office work for the same company. I speculate that Disney has an internal corporate policy to do something like that if one of their theme park employees is injured. I know they don't want to fire MB from acting on GH, due to his mental health disability, for example that he became suicidal during the months of COVID inactivity. But can ABC/Disney find him something else to do which he'd find meaningful/fulfilling? Disney is huge. There has to be something he'd feel good about, in which he could contribute to life and find meaning.

FYI, Jaqueline Grace Lopez (who played Alison, stage name Blaze) was just in a photo with Eva LaRue and Adrian Anchondo. Maybe that was a random social thing or maybe she's back? See page 2 of GH March spoilers thread.

Cady said she'll be on again. (*purely speculation*) that she was added to the show later and spliced into the wedding scenes, but that's just a guess.

That's what they did with Cady McClain. She even said on her instagram "I'm proud to be a supporting player" and she has appeared in the closing credits as recurring. Per Cady's instagram, Cady is still artistic director of a theatre in Westchester, NW, and also she's teaching at an acting studio in New York. That still doesn't deal with the Ashley/Derek actors being on contract. But maybe they'll feature them less later on, after the current contract cycle.

oh wow. The YR_insider official youtube had a *different* preview video for week of March 17th, which they took down and replaced with the one in the above post. The one they took down had more spoilers. I don't remember all the clips but two of them were: Phyllis in a coat outside talking to Billy, and Billy asking how he can help. Traci telling Jack that she thinks Alan might not be who he says he is! I bet those were for week of March 24th and they had made an error and uploaded it early and then took it down?

Derek was already insecure before his firefighting accident. Now with the TBI, he's going to have more mood swings and be even more prone to anger. TBI does cause intermittent short-term memory loss that takes a while to heal, but every case is different. However I suspect that, because of his jealousy, Derek will intentionally do things that he will pretend he doesn't remember having just done, in order to manipulate situations. Or he'll pretend that he didn't remember a prior situation, and then blame that for a new behavior. He might drag out the TBI memory lapse tendencies longer in pretense, even if his memory is recovered.
