I like that Kat doesn't judge Chelsea relaying her sexual adventures. She just listens.

A variety of sex lives on this show. A married cop and lawyer (Naomi/Jacob) having sex multiple times one morning. Dani and Andre having nostrings hookups. A gay couple not yet shown having sex due to one husband being a mentally unstable creep and refusing, but perhaps they might be shown in the future. A polyamorous bisexual throuple. An elderly couple flirting with implied sex coming. Something hetero but kinky in the back of a limousine. A virginal young woman.

That sounds terribly written/directed/acted/whatever. Are they going for Johnny is a selfish p.o.s.? Or is this just poorly done? Also, Carson Boatman doesn't have the acting skills to pull this storyline off, regardless of how they're writing Johnny to be. I've been wanting to see this reveal for 17 years! But I don't want to bother with paying for even one month of Peacock to see it poorly done. (I need closed-captioning, but the copies on dailymotion and youtube don't have it)

Andre taking photos of Derek for his firefighting rescue story in the newspaper. He wants Derek to look like a charming firefighter of the month calendar boy. Andre looks frustrated that Derek looks dull. That's supposed to be a plotpoint that Derek looks dull, but Derek always looks dull!

@Liberty City just wondering why you usually use the soapoperaNews.net header photos whenever you post their weekly spoilers here at soapoperaNetwork. That site usually uses *old* pics and not spoiler pics for their weekly spoiler listings -- for all their U.S. soaps. For example: the picture of Johnny is from November 2024. The picture of Belle is from February 2025. And the picture of Shane is from the 2021 "Beyond Salem" series. That s.o.news site feels a need to put graphics on their pages, so they just post whatever random old pics of a few characters mentioned in the spoilers. But I don't see the need to bring that site's "whatever" over to here. I'd prefer to see the actual spoiler pics, like SOD has and soaphub occasionally had. I do appreciate you bringing over the spoilers. Very very much appreciated!

It wasn't mentioned in any episode how old Martin is. Earlier in this thread, I posted that.. since the law is you have to be 35 when you take office as President, then Martin would have to be at least 32 now, to be able to run for president in 2028. Or he'd have to be at least 28 now to run for president in 2032. Then I *speculated* that he's 28 now and that he and Smitty adopted their teenaged children when they were in elementary school and Martin was around 21. All speculation on my part. This theory might keep Nicole's age four years lower than if Martin were 32 now. But all of that was me just thinking aloud (speculating/pondering) on this thread. We really don't know how old Martin is yet. We heard today that he's put out feelers for funding for a presidential run ... but don't know if that's for 2028 or 2032. I guess it's more likely 2028 based on the dialogue, but I don't know.

The character "Mona" (pics here if anyone needs reference) https://wornontv.net/beyond-the-gates/mona-wilson/ Mona is friends with Ashley's mother Jan, and with Leslie, and we've seen them at the Orphey Gene's as the "non-wealthy" friends having coffee and chatting. (Edit, I see this was just mentioned in above posts while I was typing this). Mona works for Nicole. Now today, we learned that Eva had to run the Nicole award event by herself, because Mona is sick. We saw no indication that Mona was sick, just that it was mentioned. I wonder now if Leslie arranged for Mona to be temporarily ill, so that Mona would not be at the Nicole award event, so that Leslie could go there and not be caught by Mona?

RE: Stefano. Yes. but then it changed and he was on all the time and normalized to eating lunch at the Brady Pub and being a fun grandpa. That's what I objected to. That's not who he was. His only use for his family was as chesspieces. Despite what current characters might say. Yes Leslie/Dana works for now. The actress is wonderfully mesmerizing. I just want the character to have arcs and not be a constant presence.

I feel exactly the same about Stefano DiMera. Should have been occasional villain recurring very sporadically. A storyline arc, and then gone for a few years. Not having lunch at the Brady Pub. Mascolo was a great actor, but I thought his character was way overused and then inappropriately normalized to the canvas. Stefano hated his children. It's stupid that even now they talk to his picture. Awful writing. I never saw whatever show Roger Thorpe was on (yes I know famous but I never watched it).

I think Trisha Mann-Grant is a great actress. But I personally don't want to see a villain all the time. I can take villains in small doses. Just because an actor is talented, doesn't mean their character should become on the show all the time. I hated that when it happend with Sheila Carter and Kristen Blake DiMera. I just personally cannot stan a villain character. I just cannot. I can still admire the actor, and want her to win an Emmy, but I don't want the villain to be around long term.

What? NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO to Cane. Do *NOT* want Lily to ever see or hear from him again. Just no. Furthermore, Cane was Australian, so thankfully they wouldn't give that role to Billy Flynn anyhow. In my opinion, Zuleyka (who plays Audra) is the best actor on the show. Of course we don't need another Audra, because nobody could compare to her! LOL.

So the Distinguished Service Award (same award that Vernon got years ago, they said) ... I guess it's for service to the community or something? But then it was clarified as an award for psychiatry.... but such things ... wouldn't they have speakers about WHAT Nicole did in her service? Community leaders? Other doctors? The fact that it was all family in attendance, with some extras, took me out of it. Oh but the FASHIONS, the hair, the jewelry, the jewelry adorning the hair. OUTSTANDING.
