  1. That was my first thought, LOL. But (hopefully) Drew dies? (not a spoiler, just a hope) and Cosgrove's character causes it, thus saving GH from dreadful Drew.
  2. Hell no. Even if as platonic friends, I don't want Laura interacting with her rapist ex as the glorified end of GH. Just no
  3. As longtime soap viewers, I love that we have a soap archetype shorthand that can be expressed easily to other longtime soap viewers who are new to BTG. Dani has the fire of Erica Kane -- if Erica had refused to give up her career, combined with Katherine Chancellor's angst/divorce/jealousy/drinking Hayley is a young Jill Foster Leslie/Dana is old-school Sheila Carter (not the current watered-down Sheila) Gossipy Nurse Sharice Johnson is Amy Vining Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson is Dr. Marlena Evans I could chat with anyone who knows soaps, and say those things, and they'd get it immediately. Cady McClain said on IG that her character Pamela is the Opal Gardner to Dani's Erica Kane. Except that we viewers saw that Pamela is all posh which is different from Opal. So what Cady meant wasn't that Pamela is like Opal, but rather that they have that type of friendship. We haven't yet seen much of that yet, but what Cady said is an example of explaining via soap archetypes.

  5. I thought Michael mentioned a new name to Victor in that tweeted preview video for week of March 24, but I wasn't sure. Here's same preview for week of March 24 by official "YR_insider" youtube

  7. Costume designer Jeresa Featherstone said that Eva is a "thrifter" (buys her clothes at thrift stores). Any wardrobe the show purchased for her was adjusted to look like it came from a thrift store, yet it still suits Eva's style.

  10. unproven random *speculation/theory* that they were going to have Chloe arrive with Joy, but Nadia wasn't available, so they reassigned some of the planned scenes to other characters... and they reassigned Chloe/Brady to Ava/Brady, which made zero sense to me. If Chloe were in Salem, then the whole storyline of Joy being conceived in order to get bone marrow to save Chloe from leukemia -- could have created an interesting dynamic with them as adult women, and especially now (if) Joy is pregnant. I think without Chloe, that Joy just doesn't have enough meaningful connection on the canvas. (On a side note, bringing in Joy for Body&Soul was also pointless, but that's because Body&Soul itself was entirely pointless.)
  11. Love all of these Dupree moments. The end of episode #1 after Dani confronted Hayley, when all the Duprees walked out one by one and glared disparagingly at Hayley as they passed her. The wedding when Anita wordlessly got everyone to sit down and *not* stand for the bride's entrance. Today with the family giving the collective stare at Tomas There have been a few more, mostly wordless, and all iconic in my mind.

  14. As posted abovethread on March 14: The YR_insider official youtube had a *different* preview video for week of March 17th, which they took down and replaced... The one they took down had more spoilers. I don't remember all the clips but two of them were: Phyllis in a coat outside talking to Billy, and Billy asking how he can help. Traci telling Jack that she thinks Alan might not be who he says he is! I bet those were for week of March 24th and they had made an error and uploaded it early and then took it down? ------------------------- Update, yes that was for week of March 24th "Next week on Y&R" for week of March 24:
  15. Tues March 18, episode #17. This was up an hour ago, and I thought I posted but guess I didn't. https://www.paramountplus.com/shows/video/_M4Z3wdYF2Pu3x4stUImJ8HRT0rZ2wmU/ https://www.cbs.com/shows/video/_M4Z3wdYF2Pu3x4stUImJ8HRT0rZ2wmU/
  16. That's what Ron Carlivati does, makes things a joke. He thinks he's clever. I hope MVJ corrals/stops those tendencies. Friday March 14 -- the basic story from MVJ was great but Carlivati's breakdown was too camp.
  17. Since January 2025. But sometimes Days misspells it as "O'Conner".
  18. Anita is the grand dame, who dresses like Katherine Chancellor sometimes wearing lots of jewels but not always. But Anita is much much better and current. Anita walking around town regally with all the confidence. Katherine didn't have that confidence because her life didn't work out. edit to insert: Anita is joyful. Katherine had a lot of sadness. But both could be feisty. Dani is drinking like early Katherine Chancellor. So what is Bill gonna be Phillip Chancellor II (Katherine's husband) but Dani won't drive him over the cliff since Dani and Bill are already divorced. But yeah Dani the alcoholic is Katherine, so will she drive drunk? Following the analogy then Hayley is Jill Foster, Jill, Katherine's manicurist who took Katherine's husband. Paralegal Hayley at he law firm is like businesswoman Jill after she started working at Jabot, so not exactly the same but...
