  1. Yeah. The original possession was campy, but the difference is was that it wasn’t played for laughs. It was meant to be serious. I always think back to the fight between Stefano and MarDevil where Stefano gets thrown off the balcony. That wasn’t played for laughs at all. That was a knock down drag out fight. And it did seem like RC tried to do something similar in the scenes where John found out that Marlena was possessed again, but then he brings Susan in and that just messes it up.
  2. Oh wow I had no idea. Luckily, it was handled very well which sometimes doesn't happen on the current show lol
  3. Those eyes... 😍😍
  4. Thanks! I was trying to figure out when Jack and Jen's initial involvement started and who had the idea to put them together. I wasn't sure because Leah Laiman's run was so supercouple heavy.
  5. I know. But it shouldn't be. It would be better if it was taken more seriously.
  6. The problem is this storyline is not supposed to be comedic, and it's at the point where Susan's presence is hurting it a lot more than helping it.
  7. Speaking of Anne Howard Bailey, she did also seem to be a fan of Nick the pimp as well Was she the one that started their involvement together or was it Leah Laiman?
  8. Must have been a mess lol especially considering they got Al Rabin out of retirement to be the co-EP again. Was her hiring meant to be some kind of compensation by NBC after everything that happened at Santa Barbara?
  9. Sounds like a good idea! That would've been the smart thing to do, but our EP loves using fake relationships in order to bring people together and drag out storylines. And I've enjoyed Dan and Chris as well. I would love to see what they could do on their own.
  10. Christmas music just started on the radio 😂😂
  11. That was fast 😂😂 I hope they don't write it in either. The last thing that the Steffy/Finn/Hope/Liam quad needs is another baby.
  12. Remember when I said that Frank only interferes in the summertime and that October to March is usually pretty good. Unfortunately, it looks like I have to take that back lol Chase DID NOT have to lie and say that he was the father of Baby Bailey. The two actors have enough chemistry so that, and that alone could be used to bring Chase and Brook Lynn together, not some fake charade. You would think after the fake affair mess from last year, the show would stay away from charades like that, but they just keep doing the same old thing.
  13. Thank God I haven't seen that disgrace this year 😂😂 The only one I've seen so far was the original (the real one lol) and I hope it stays that way.
  14. Once again, people in Salem get turned on by something that shouldn't turn them on 😂 And it was great to see Eileen again. Stacy was ok, but enough is enough. Cure Kristen of her craziness and make Eileen permanent in the role.
  15. I know 😂😂
  16. Thanks! I remember him doing all that, I just wasn't sure if they had actually made it official or not.
  17. Are Brando and Sasha actually a couple yet? I don't even know where they are in a relationship right now. Or if anything is going to happen to them. A lot of people on here are right: it really is like the two of them are living in a Hallmark movie. Valentin's devastated face was a little cringey, but his scenes with Brook Lynn today were the best part of the episode. I was actually beginning to feel bad for him. And, the less said about Austin, the better.
  18. That would be nice 😂😂 I do hope it's not like a sappy love story though. If it's supposed to be a Salem Christmas, then we all know what that means
  19. He sure made his mark on Days. The St. Valentine's Day Massacre (though I wonder if those were all his choices, or was he taking orders from the big shots at NBC), and supercouple formula. After all that success, it seemed like instead of Copy GH, shows went into Copy Days mode.
  20. I don't think Darlene Love ever sang on AW. I wish she had though. He was all heart, that Paul lol
  21. Just had a thought... The way it's being described, we'll be watching a movie that Will wrote, so does that mean that Will is only going to appear in the beginning and the end to introduce and conclude the story? I hope not.
  22. I enjoyed the reveal. My only problem with it was the same thing that often has been on a problem on Days lately: Too Fast! Everyone behind the scenes is always talking about how much time they have to fill when it comes to a soap, so use some of that time to have a great payoff for your storyline. This needed to play out for a lot longer than just one episode, and yes, there needed to be more people at the ceremony. Abe is Mayor, for Christ's sake!!! At least have some extra playing a photographer, reporter, etc. there to cover the event. And yeah, Susan is just annoying. She really wasn't needed in the possession storyline. If they're borrowing from movies for this, they should have her take the demon into her own body and sacrifice herself like at the end of The Exorcist.
