  1. No one is doubting this dude went to a dinner party and heard what he heard. But it's still anecdotal and thirdhand evidence - there's no verification. It clearly still gets under adr's skin that people don't take his word as gospel or platform his own opinions about the last years of the show. But it's not up to him. I do think it's possible P&G could someday let some of that stuff back out if they have it, since they're getting back into the soap business with The Gates. More obscure shows have turned up on Prime, Pluto or Tubi. But I'm not holding my breath.
  2. Kaitlan Collins has had this coming.
  3. In lighter news from the Harris rally, get it, Parker:
  4. A forlorn voice highlights the problem: Suspicion abounds about Beshear. I don't really think there's a bad choice, but I want PA locked down if possible.
  5. I think concern over Shapiro is heavily overstated. The splinter of young leftists who will peel off were going to find another excuse. I don't believe we'd lose anyone else. But I'm not convinced it's him anyway. Well, no, I was referring to the current hype and momentum being similar to 2008. Not a negative angle. Meanwhile:
  6. Are Korte and co. now trying to say Brennan and Valentin are good guys? I am so lost.
  7. It's going great today on Fox:
  8. JFC:
  9. I'll allow it: This is giving 2008. The last week-plus and Kamala have both considerably outdone my grounded expectations for any rollout of a candidate I wasn't sure was ready. I think she is. I thought this would be a huge lift for the general public. So far, it isn't. At all. It might still be a tough fight, but I'm no longer sure a win would be as close as we thought.
  10. Anyway:
  11. Another ad: Full rally:
  12. Atlanta with Kamala, Raphael Warnock and Megan thee Stallion: And now, sad news for @DRW50:
  13. I find Roberts overwrought and overheated at times, but he is not wrong here. You can tell it stung because gossip maven Max Tani of Semafor, etc. immediately RTed it to mock it.
  14. Toby Poser (GL) and her very prolific filmmaking family have another horror picture coming to Shudder in August, also featuring Anders Hove (GH):
  15. More on SCOTUS:
  16. That's very fair. After a month of the debate drama getting him a reprieve, Will Lewis' troubles are back:
  17. Grain of salt: Likely an attempt to shut down and rebrand: I find this sample size way too small but reasonably credible people seem amped up about this:
  18. A very revealing CNN article about the SCOTUS leaks over Idaho and the rare compromise struck with the liberal minority justices against the hardliners (Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch).
  19. Audio of the earlier article above. Lance Bass!
