  1. That set redesign may have been planned before his return or just coincided with it. His involvement could have been negligible or perhaps he had more than we know (since Scott was gone from the B&B credits in September). Set aside, I was just speaking about credits in the last post, I think Scott will likely show up in the first or second week of November. We’ll hopefully see noticeable production differences once he starts being credited.
  2. Yeah - since Y&R tapes about a month in advance, Scott’s first credited episode should theoretically be around the time of the 13K episode - his return would have been announced slightly over a month before that episode airs. From Michelle Stafford’s recent interview, we know he’s already working on the show - it’s just a matter of if he started before or slightly after that Deadline announcement.
  3. It feels like the redesign and 13K episode both align with Ed Scott’s return, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he was the one overseeing it with the production and set designers.
  4. Almost every day, but today is a specific showcase of how lazy she is and how she defaults to bad acting habits and ticks.
  5. Stafford’s acting is particularly horrible today. I can’t with the yelling and arms flaring every few seconds.
  6. She’s posted often about her soap roots: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DBKgn65PdHu/?igsh=MWljcXF5OGxteXR1dQ==
  7. Seems like it’s all happening around the same time too - the 13k episode will ait almost a month after Scott’s return was announced.
  8. Michele Val Jean is friendly with a lot the actors she wrote for her B&B and GH. Which is a testament to her, I guess, since she spent most of her career as a staff writer. I don’t think Darin’s on the show, but he seems very supportive of her. Yeah, Bibel seems to be on staff.
  9. And ironically, Jensen Buchanan played mercy killer Melissa Bedford, lol.
  10. Phyllis’s hypocrisy and being a nutcase herself makes her even more unsympathetic when she makes comments about the mental stability of other characters like Sharon and Diane. Like Carly on GH, we’re just supposed to “accept” it because this character is somehow deemed as a “chosen one” by TPTB. Even with crap, ruinous writing, I still somehow have a soft spot for Sharon that I can no longer have with Phyllis. I totally think that’s because of the acting…
  11. The Phyllis flashback episode was really an example of how much Stafford’s ego, laziness, and ticks really overcame her over the years. She still had her ticks back in the 90’s to be totally honest, but there used to be a genuine sincerity there that hasn’t existed since like 2005. I stand by Stafford doing her best work in 2000-2004. She really seemed to try back then to make Phyllis a complete character and give her acting some nuance.
  12. I used to be hardcore Alex Donnelley fan and never fully accepted SW in her first stint, but I really think she’s stepped up in this stint and is one of the more watchable actors on this show when the writing gives her a chance.
  13. Yes, I did really like Phyllis and Jack once upon a time, and Stafford did her best work in the early 00's when she returned to the show. That was her best era, IMO. I hated that she seemed to fight against that era of the character so much over the years because she preferred playing the Giggly Heffa version. Nick and Phyllis should have never been more than just an affair. That's one instance where I'm sad Jack Smith didn't get to write out the rest of the story before Latham swooped in and f.ucked this show forever.
  14. I just don’t care - stop trying to make Sacha happen, it’s not gonna happen.
  15. Not sure if this was posted already, but Michelle Stanford said before landing the role of Phyllis on Y&R, she lost out on a role at OLTL - the feedback was she wasn’t “pretty.” I wonder what the OLTL role was. Michelle Stafford Reveals How Losing ‘OLTL’ Role Brought Her ‘Y&R’ and the Secret to Phyllis’ Longevity

  17. Stafford’s comments are 35 mins in: I wonder what she means by Scott “tweaking” the scenes - that tells me that everyone realizes the material is not good and Scott is specifically there to try to enhance it somehow. Hoping this is the last effort to save Griffith’s ass and he’s gone at the end of his contract, if so.
  18. The only thing I want from Sasha is death or her being written out with little to no explanation.
  19. So, easy to ditch when they’re ready 😗 😗 😗
