Doubt it with bully Kim Zimmer there.

I liked both of her stints. Her 1st stint, she started off sympathetic...and everything about that story was strong. Including the final show off between Vicki and Laura..where David chooses Vicki over his mom. The 2nd stint was uneventful except for the scenes with Angelique.

How sad for Kyle that another relative will overshadow her. She should have just focused on having a life that wasnt fame based.

As The World Turns Discussion Thread
I had no idea that Kim and Betsy were even close till 1996...when Kim and Susan were arguing over Dani. Betsy/Susan was something that never was explored....and would have mined some good story since Betsy's mom Liz and Susan didn't like one another....and didn't Susan leaving the baby gate open by mistake cause Liz's unusual death?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I will say in season 7...Heather actually handled Bethenny well considering what she had to contend with. And I loved her confessional where she basically said Bethenny was a *itch lol Luann, Dorinda and Carole had stuff going on in season 7..so it wasn't the Bethenny show that year. Even Kristen had stuff she was doing show up on the show that season. All of Heather's stuff was cut from what I recall.

Bethenny is a social climber to an extent and likes to feel superior to other people. It's why she had an issue with Heather because Heather had a healthy self esteem and had a successful design career (she used to handle Sean John's menswear line).

All My Children Tribute Thread
I don't know...AMC had out there stories before the well story. Unlike the Goldie story...this particular story had long term effects (conception of Amanda, Dimitri/Erica, Edmund/Maria/Brooke)..etc. I do wonder how the 2013 reboot would have gone had it continued? It had the elements and was coming together when it was canceled.

Yeah, Andy did try to shade/question Candiace..but she pushed back on him...same as she's done to Ashley for the last 3 reunions. S6 needs a shake up...and I'm curious to see how it fared once the dust settles.

Ryan's Hope Discussion Thread
I noticed during the Kirkland era in 1982..that Jill was briefly in the orbit..with a potential pairing hinted at before that was dropped. Putting her into the attorney role with an occasional shoulder to cry on for Seneca before Frank returned. When Max first came in...Jill was teased as a possible fling/connection with him before that was dropped. I guess I'm curious why a viable character such as Jill was never written for outside Frank? Even Faith was branched out to other viable stories outside Pat.

Primetime Soaps
Has anyone talked about a short lived night time soap from 1978 called W.E.B about a female network executive working behind the scenes in a cut throat world? It starred Pamela Bellwood of Dynasty fame

@Taoboi @Cat I've been side eyeing Brownie all season. Throwing Shannon under the bus, blaming Gina for her hubby's creepy text, the odd co dependency between her and hubby. However, when her daughter expressed genuine anxiety over covid and how it was affecting people...and Brownie made it about her. I was done.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Understatement. Unless she hadn't hung out with D'andra at least 2 weeks before she got covid...she should be isolating to make she didn't get it either.

Dallas: Brandi needed to listen to Tiffany, apologize and than show though action she was sorry. Tiffany reminds me of my former roommates girlfriend in personality..so she's a keeper for me I do sense she and Dandra are close and hope it stays that way. Jen...was she meant to be full time? I thought I read she was supposed to be but something happened in her personal life that caused her to leave mid way through filming. I'm wondering if Kary or Brandi were going to be demoted..but Jen opting out cause Bravo to change their mind? After hearing Monique's live and the contract she was offered...I wonder if all the women have that clause (that producers could opt to make you a FOH during the season if they so choose?).

Lucinda during the Marland era was written as the heavy especially when it came to Lily/Holden. I wish she'd slapped the brat..tbh. And Marland's scripts could be a little too talky/stilted... so I'm glad she infused some life into her part. And Althea was a strong character..but a total 180 from Lucinda. Though I do think the Althea/Penny relationship had more layers and showed both of them being right and wrong...as opposed to the Lily/Lucinda relationship..that was kind of a rinse, lather and repeat.

I actually thought KMH was a good performer in the first.few years on the show (even she thought the.show was crazy for casting her after she found out who played Emily before her). I sometimes think some performers fit better on certain soaps than others. KMH seemed more she would have fit better on an ABC soap than a P & G soap. She even admitted not being am ATWT watcher growing up (Chicago and Chicago suburbs...ABC soaps rated higher than CBS soaps by a landslide)

Rhoslc: I did see Meredith and hubby are back together...so seeing the journey air will be interesting. Lisa is type A...and she admits it so I'm sure hubby realizes it..but trying to help her find a balance. I do like they started as friends before becoming a couple. And judging on her Instagram...she does seem to love her hubby and sons. She just shows it in a different way. Jen and hubby's 1st date story was cute...but she's too messy. Lisa was right that if he was like Jen..they would be divorced. Heather is relatable. I wonder how Jen feels about the fact most viewers list Heather as their fav..and not her? Whitney has dad issues. She and Ashley from RHOP would click if they met. Mary is fascinating, and maybe just one scene an episode will make people want to see her more. I heard a rumor that a Meredith and Lisa argument happened during the hot tub confession scene.. Wonder if true or not. Lastly, I'm loving the hubby's getting confessional time..reminds me of early season OC. RHOD: I do hear some of the hubby's will also get confessional scenes. I hope that's true..because I liked the brief scene of Kameron's little girl being interviewed and making fun of her mom in an adorable way last season. I hope Kary's kids also get a confessional since they rolled their eyes at her antics last season.

Ryan's Hope Discussion Thread
The Nancy Barrett/Catharine Hicks version of Faith was the best position for the character. While Karen G had a similar look to Catherine Hicks...she was colder and more passive. A weird combo. Randall's Delia had a more vulnerable vibe that made me understand why Maeve would keep giving her chances. Illene's Delia was funnier, but seemed more like an annoyance that you kept around in small doses.

Edge of Night (EON) (No spoilers please)
I think 1982 or 1983 is when residuals became a thing. I'm wondering if residuals had to be paid when EON and SFT were rerun on USA network back in the 80s.

I do sense a bond with Mary and Whitney...both were ostacized. Why was there a production company switch midway through filming?

Gizelle did look out of sorts...so hearing she lost her temper doesn't surprise. I like the Dallas taglines... I have a feeling Tiffany will.make an interesting impact on the show.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
So I watched the 90 minute episode... Karen didn't come out the winner against Candiace. I would say it was a draw. Old bag of bones (Karen) should of known Candiace is not Gizelle. She will fight back verbally....and Karen was so emotional especially about Candiace saying she'll burn in hell....it was glorious to see and hear. Shame Monique is quitting.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Andy has always played favorites...I even tweeted that directly to him years ago..and he responded directly asking when he did that...even provided examples of him doing so when it came to Bethenny and Kyle. Did Monique also just say she quit?

Delia regressed even more once Illene came back. She even said in 1982 that she struggled to play Delia because she was in a different place than back in 1979. My late mom watched a 1981 episode..and wondered who that person was (i.e Delia). When I told her that was Delia..my mom didn't believe me since 1981 Delia seemed put together and wasn't a hot mess at least on the outside lol

RHOSLC Brooks so would have fit in during the OC teen era on OC. He gets more focus than Meredith does....only because she's more subdued I gather. Lisa and hubby: they seem like a typical married couple. And deep within her frost is a bit of warmth. She's just a type A personality. Heather does seem to talk to he daughters like they're her contemporaries. That's a boundary one has to be careful not to cross to much...imho Jen...if this is her being treated for mental health...I'm scared to see what she was like before. Mary seems to exist in Mary's world...I would need to read the travel book before I ventured there.
