AMC is in Nelson's top soaps to watch? Even he is noticing their vast improvements. :lol:

And the shock therapy is a "guilty pleasure"? The man has a different view of guilty pleasure than me--as like something that you actually get pleasure from.

But yeah I was shocked to see any even slightly positive AMC mentions...

Oh and umm wow... Top 3 Young Actors:

1. Shenell Edmonds (Destiny, One Life)

AGAIN? Was she on this week? Besides the fact that I think she's terrible, how can you pick her as an actor to watch when she's not on. I'm gonna cry.

(I was shocked enough she made Nelson's picks last week for 25 actors who should leave soaps and make their break for primetime because of their talent and credentials, now :lol: )

You know how it goes: whenever there's a regime change, no matter how dismal, a tide of enthusiasm floods the internet. It soon fades away, when reality comes to eat all the dreams away.

This is true (although there's no enthusiasm for DK coming in after Broderick LOL) but Nelson is just such a longterm AMC hater (something he admitted in one of his interviews--that he never grew up with the show and was never a fan, but of course has since claimed isn't true and he loved classic AMC :rolleyes: )

I love how he aknowledges it's going through a bad period right now "Did I miss a press release or something? When did One Life turn into DAYS (the bad version) again? While still the best soap on air, One Life has been a tad hard to watch lately. Stick to the basics, Ron."

But STILL calls it the best soap on air. What this past week has made it such? (Right after declaring "Classic GH is back!" no less...)
