Wow! I actually know of every single person on this season!

Very interesting cast... Tucker Carlson, Jerry Springer? They're going to be darkhorses for sure :D I hate Springer's show, but it should be funny seeing him on the dancefloor.

I guess I might have to record DWTS becuase I am definitely watching Friday Night Lights live on Tuesdays.

Wow I love this cast!!!

I am rooting for Harry and Ashley because of what happened to Lisa last year and because poor Ashley deserves a chance to win this thing. She is awesome and I think these two are the favorites going in. I think Mario Lopez will do well too.

I like everyone on the list. Can't wait to see Joey Lawrence after all these years. Emmit Smith worries me because of what happened with Jerry last yeat. it is another big fanbase issue and I would hate to see it screw things up like last year but who knows Emmit may be good.

Jerry Springer is interesting to say the least and ABC/Disney need to stop with the Hish School Musical pimping. I watched that damn thing with my nephew and niece (also to see Brook Kerr's son Chris who was in it) and while it was cute it is not worthy of all this hype. I can think of many other people to get on this thing besides Monique Coleman. I was hoping Ali Sweeney would get on too since Lisa was asking her about since she is competitive and she likes stuff like that. She may not have done it because Harry was and since Lisa and her are friends she will probably wait. I hope she does it next year though-like Monaco she will compete and I think she would win because she has that no lose attitude.

I can't wait for this though :) .

Mario is also going to be on Nip/Tuck as a love interest for one of the MEN! Looks like he will be on two of my shows this fall. :)

Tom DeLay urges Dancing support of his "good friend" Sara Evans, not Tucker Carlson

When former Congressman Tom DeLay resigned earlier this year, Think Progress notes, he said he wanted to “pursue new opportunities to engage in the important cultural and political battles of our day from an arena outside of the U.S. House of Representatives.” One of those important battles: the competition on Dancing with the Stars 3.

Yes, “The Hammer” is tackling an important new project: Working to make sure that liberal cast members of Dancing with the Stars 3 are defeated by “a good friend of mine” and a “strong supporter of the Republican Party,” country singer Sara Evans. In an e.mail message to supporters, he writes, in part,

Sara Evans has been a strong supporter of the Republican Party and represents good American values in the media. From singing at the 2004 Republican Convention to appearing with candidates in the last several election cycles, we have always been able to count on Sara for her support of the things we all believe in. Let’s show Sara that same support by watching and voting for her each week to help her win this competition. One of her opponents on the show is ultra liberal talk show host Jerry Springer. We need to send a message to Hollywood and the media that smut has no place on television by supporting good people like Sara Evans.

Think Progress has a scan of the full e.mail message, which urges people to visit DancingWithSara.com and vote for her each week.

I have only one question. Do you think Dancing with the Stars 3 cast member Tucker Carlson is upset that DeLay isn’t supporting him? Actually, probably not, since when I was on his show last week, he didn’t seem all that excited about his forthcoming appearance:

CARLSON: It’s a reality show. Who cares if it represents America? I mean, boy, if—I mean, I’m sad there are people, you know, people of my ethnicity on ‘Survivor’ embarrassing themselves. You know what I mean? It’s like, who cares?

DEHNART: Well, that’s true. I mean, I guess—and you know—I mean, you’re going to be on ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ so, you know, it all depends on the personalities of the people more than anything else.

CARLSON: All right.

Andy Dehnart, thanks a lot for joining us

So then tucker goes out and gets his own support....this gets even better.:lol:

Al Sharpton endorses Tucker Carlson

After the recent revelation that Tom DeLay had endorsed Sara Evans, encouraging his supporters to vote for her on Dancing with the Stars 3, I wondered if Tucker Carlson’s feelings were hurt. As it turned out, he has an ally of his own: Al Sharpton.

Tucker told the New York Daily News’ Lloyd Grove that he asked Sharpton for the endorsement, because “Nobody turns out the vote like the Reverend Al.” Mocking DeLay’s endorsement of Evans, Sharpton issued his own humorous statement praising Tucker and encouraging his supporters to vote for him:

“We are living in trying and uncertain times. That’s why now, more than ever, we need a strong leader who will stand up for what we believe. Better yet, we need a leader who will dance for what we believe. Tucker Carlson is just such a dancer. Watch Tucker do the cha-cha and then call in your vote to make sure he advances to the next week’s show. You can call as often as you like. Remember: Voting in celebrity dance contests is not just your right in this country, it’s a privilege. … If you sit back idly and fail to perform your civic duty, lesser dancers could win this competition. America simply cannot afford that.”

Sharpton said, however, that he has more than one motive for endorsing Tucker: “I want to balance the influence of DeLay and at the same time get a right-winger off talk television and help Tucker find another career. I think it would be a great contribution to society to have him as a cheeseball disco dancer than a talk-show host propagating right-wing politics.”

I was an extra years back for one of Sarah Evan's videos "Saints and Angels". She was very nice and came around and talked to each extra even though she didnt have to. I have been a big fan of hers ever since. I will be rooting for Sarah and probably a few others. As long as that Carlson guy doesnt win I will be happy.
