I wouldn't know - I didn't watch today. After a week of not watching this show, I had no desire to turn it back on.

Exactly, same here. I've been gone for a little while now myself. GH is garbage. I did happen to flip channels and see Sam and Rick all over each other and that reaffirmed why I stopped watching.

GH has really gone to hell. Actually I take that back, the entire ABC Daytime lineup has gone to hell. I really can't tell which show is in worse shape right now. My only advise is FIRE THE HACKS!

How on earth did GH win the Emmy for Best Daytime Drama? I haven't watched the show for years, but from reading all your comments, it seems like GH and indeed the whole ABC lineup is a pile of crap!

I doubt they'll get Warlock back. Part of the reason why they killed off AJ is because Warlock didn't want to sign a new contract with them. He said in an interview that he was tired of AJ playing second fiddle to Sonny and Jason. AJ never came out on top, even for a little bit and he was tired of it. I still have hope that AJ faked his death yet again, but w/e.

I'd love to see Ashford back as Tom Hardy Jr., especially since the hospital is a major part of the show again.

Kinda sad that the only highlight of the episode were the Robin/Patrick scenes, and I don't even like Robin. In fact, I dislike her a lot. But Scrubs works for me.

Those chunky highlights that NLG is sporting are also way too distracting. Who approved that one?

And they have been totally setting up Liason like nobody's business, it makes me sick. Now that Lucky and Maxie did the deed, Liason here we come. Fan-freakin-tastic...

Another Sam fan here disgusted by the show. Guza's Summer of Sleaze is pure character assassination and pointless plot point drivel. He needs to be fired and a new headwriter come onboard fast that will actually write for the characters and give us romance, intrigue, friendships and good drama - all of which are lacking on GH.

another Sam fan pissed off here as well. Ive hated what they've done with her and Jason over the past few months and the conflict between them makes no sense. I dont get why they just cant be together and this breakup is purely plot driven and frustrating. Whatever I wont be watching it much longer. They totally fucked over the Lucky/Liz fans and the Lorenzo/Skye fans as well, 2 couples which I love. They go through the trouble of bringing Anna back and she hasnt been on in like 2 weeks.

I dont watch GL but I can say out of the other 8 soaps, GH is by far the worst at the moment. At least PSSNS is alright for what its trying to be. GH is just an utter mess. The ABC lineup may not be the best right now but I find AMC and OLTL much more enjoyable than this piece of crap. Sad thing is, as bad as it is, GH will be nominated for best show and writing next year

I have to disagree on part of this GH and OLTL may suck by AMC has improved a hell of lot the last 9 or ten shows the writing has turned to more human characters's and the plot's our moving better if I was to grade AMC right now I"d give it a solid B. AMC really turned around a lot in such a short amount time making me think that Mct no longer has any say in the writing at all.

A couple of months ago, I was giving the show props for having widened its focus away from MobSonnyJasonCarlyCourtney. We were getting some GH, some of the vets were back, Tony Geary seemed to rediscover his desire to act and Day Players like Lucky and Liz were getting a teensy bit more airtime.

Now I realize the problem wasn't so much the narrow Sonny focus as it was the extraordinarily poor writing. (In fact, Claire Labine invented Sonny and made him Must-See TV). Doesn't matter how wide the focus is if two characters like Lucky and Maxie are going to be ruined by having soulless, drug-withdrawl-fuelled sex with one another.

The worst part? I have a horrible feeling TIIC will NEVER accept that the quality of the writing is the problem. Oh, no! The drop in rating MUST be because we are using the vets! Get rid of Tristan and Finola! Let's stop with the hospital crap because CLEARLY the viewers have no interest in that, either! In fact, the ratings scream a desperate desire for more Maurice and more mob. Let's get the Sonny Show back to its roots! You know that's how Frons & Recycluza will spin it.

We need Labine and Mulcahey to save GH's heart. Until then, I will content myself with Y&R and Days. Oh, and welcome to the Dark Side, Cheap.
