There was no DiMera in town when Steve (Patch) "died" and now Kayla is blaming DiMera, Stefano DiMera, for Steve's "death". This is exactly like when Marlena was presumed dead in 1987 and Hope was in 1990 and when they return from the "dead" and The DiMera family was to blame. Hope "death" was caused by Ernesto Toscano and Marlena "death" was caused by Orpheus. Lawrence Alamain was involved in Steve's "death" and now the DiMeras are blamed again. I know they are evil people, but hey give them a break writers and use the history. I like the way when Hope and zack was kidnapped the last time and everyone blame Lexie (DiMera) and they threw in the twist that Larry Welch was the mastermind trying to setup Lexie. Do something like that.

I try not to watch the "Next On..." segments, but I saw Kayla saying that as just one possible reason. He has been behind so many other switcheroos, why not another? I think he will eventually be eliminated and we'll actually get a surprise in this story. It's my hope, and with new writers, I have reason to hope.

With the new regime coming in, I don't think it would be awful, but it would make NO sense. That's certainly not how I would do it. I'm definitely not doing it that way in my blog.

But I am pretty sure the gloved hand is Stefano, so I think they will actually blame Stefano. I think Joe M. is returning. And he is behind all of this!
