This is coming from the woman who cast the guy who played Tico Santi and countless other stupid ass characters. I don't think she's the best judge of that....

I agree, but, unfortunately, Bruno spouts a stupid quote like that every week.

Haha. Again. ITA. But I think there are dozens of people with this thinking behind the scenes of daytime.

Daytime CANNOT be all about SEX. I'm sorry. Daytime television is in so many ways different than any other genre. We can all agree on that. Because it is, we invest in core families, characters we either love to hate you hate to love you or just simply hate you and wish you would the hell of my screen.

That said, daytime should be about sex...but it should be about characters we truly care about: Reva Lewis, Marlena Black, Viki Lord, etc. etc. etc.

These casting directors, are forgetting who made soaps the success they used to be. The generation before us and a good majority of us want to see our veteran actor/actress in front burning storylines. Daytime and soaps are about characters we grew up with...OYE.. I agree it is people like this that are killing the genre.

OLTL's casting director should be fired. Heck she's the one who hired the lame-ass who played Tico. He also hired the lame-ass who plays Vincent and the lame Kerry Butler who plays Claudia.

I love Debbi Morgan and want her back on AMC as Angie.

Last year Alec Musser was all-around fave from about the get-go, this year I've went back and forth. I like Shamika, Lauren (who reminds me of Robin Christopher in looks) & Bethann. I even sometimes like Kelly, although she is weird, but is sexy as hell. I hope a woman wins this year, since no woman has.

I think the men are/were lame this year. I'm glad Ayinde is off this week. Although I've been hating him, Mikey shocked me as the best and if he keeps acting this good, he made end up winning it.
