I wonder if JG has any regrets about wasting Lucas Adams’ Noah on Braun’s throwaway Sienna?

Seriously, if JG wanted Newman/Abbott conflict as well as Noah having “mommy” issues, why not an Ashley/Noah/Traci triangle…?🤣😂

Throw in BF’s Cane just to make it a quad. 😅

Sally is the same character as Chloe/Chelsea/Audra.

Just what CBS soaps need, another offscreen university! I guess they collab with Vernon teaching Zoom classes, all referred to over drinks at Society or Orphey Gene's. Such amazing synergy!

  • Joshua Morrow has found that happy medium between six pack and dad bod.

I agree. I've had it with the May/December relationships on this show

They just failed with Noah and Sienna. Now they're doing it with Kyle and Victoria, and possibly with Nate and Stephanie?

Just no.

Nate's return to surgery just seems like filler. Probably because it is. and like most if the stories it's a focus for a few days of conversation.

Now if things were different we would have had an event that made Nate rethink his walking away from medicine. Maybe someone close has a medical emergency and it brings home to Nate that once upon a time he would have been in a postion to save them.

Of course Olivia should have been a part of Nate's story, Instead of bringing back Amy or Stephanie, Olivia should have been recast as a recurring character. Tonya does not want to come back and I think the audience would accept a good recast.

They could have examined Olivia's disappointment that Nate turned away from medicine and his feelings that she perhaps had too strong expectations etc.

Then when the chance comes for Nate to have the surgery, we meet the surgeon who offers say a 50/50 chance of recovery. Nate wrestles as to whether he wants to go down that path.

In other words , tell the beats of the story instead of a few conversations and stuff happening offscreen.

Hopefully Jamey and Dan will be smart enough to realize this is a quick fix to the storytelling style.

Similarly with Mariah who has had years of offscreen limited stories. We never even got to see Mariah/Tessa and the baby have a reunion scene. It's hard to get invested when we only hear about stuff.

Cane and Lily talked endlessly about their kids and we never saw them.

-- Is it a rule that Nick have to look stupid with his backwards ball cap while at rehab?

-- It is great that Nick gets the coffee room all to himself all the time.

-- Viviva A. Fox hit the fillers so hard it's hilarious. It doesn't matter, because nothing can save her stilted acting.

-- A Nate and Stepanie romance. Josh wants to burn it all down on his way out the door. GAG ME. Their conversations could not be more awkward.

-- Phyllis loves Nick so much she visits him at rehab to quiz him on Matt Clark. Way to redeem the Matt character, Josh Griffith! That visit to Nick was insane.

Nikki has to rush off to see Johnny and Katie. God forbid that we ever see them.

There is no redemption for the Matt character. Saying 'he's changed' and 'he's trying to do better' doesn't cut it.

Stupid Josh decided to bring back this psycho instead of creating a new character with no baggage.

Phyllis looks even more deluded and pathetic than usual.
