Does anyone know if Anita's scene with Gayle King is available to watch online? I couldn't find it on Youtube, and I don't subscribe to Paramount+.

I just watched Wed-Fri. I see a lot of people are done with Dana/Leslie. Yeah, she's a bit much, but I enjoyed her scenes. She had me cracking up.

I'm behind but enjoyed her calling Derek Smokey the Bear and Stop Drop and Roll. 😅

This is how I feel. I'm still a big Leslie fan. She just cracks me up, even though I know she isn't a 'great' person.

Leslie also made me laugh in last week's episodes. Her quips, nicknames, and one liners are entertaining. Although, as I mentioned, I seriously haven't had an issue with Leslie's portrayal until this last week.

It isn't the extraness that is Leslie that bothers me. As I have known a few Leslies in my life where every word out of their mouth is just doing the most. My issue is that she has become a cartoon character. The same woman who ran someone off the road in attempted murder is now chasing down Duprees in the most clownish way to beg them for details to the press? Even the way she went about it, the recations, all of it felt absurd and unlike a woman who just blew up a man's life for revenge.

I get they need to tone Leslie down in order to keep her on canvas, but if this is the way they are achieving it, then I am not feeling it.

A while back someone mentioned Leslie going to jail and getting off on a technicality. I feel like that would be a good way to redeem and revitalize Leslie. Maybe going to jail even briefly could be a wake up call. She can see the errors of her ways and come back - not normal, but still that extra Leslie where we can believe she can be ridiculous and not just some loony who is prowling around town with all these people knowing what she has done but equally giving her the time of day.

I get that idea in theory, but Leslie is a sociopath. And (usually) you cannot reason with or redeem such a character.

In real life, there are things in the DSM (antisocial personality disorder) and ICD (dissocial personality disorder) that attempt to explain this.
Fictionally, one of the main characters on the current CBS primetime show Watson (neurologist Dr. Ingrid Derian, played by actress Eve Harlow) is undergoing treatment for antisocial p.d. But she's nothing like Leslie.

Realistically, many people experiencing this disorder are not redeemed.

Or perhaps Leslie has narcissistic personality disorder?

In either case, such individuals (sometimes? ) have an inability to experience empathy. I don't know if jail time would cause a change to that.
