I love that Drew, Willow, and Sidwell are all a**holes who have screwed each other over. And Sidwell was right---no one's coming to save you, Drew. Maybe Kai.

Trina continues to be a downer. Portia is messy but Trina acts so personally offended. The writers make her so one note.

I actually thought it was weird Isaiah came to her house. Like why would she ever like the man that was banging her mom when she was cheating once again.

You're right. I'm anti-Trina these days (because she's such a drip), but Isaiah did show up to her place. I'd probably have an attitude too.

I missed a few episodes but it seems like Isaiah and Portia patched things up since they found out Curtis is the baby's dad. Now he's trying to get her and Trina to reconcile. I wish there was some more tension with Isaiah or character development.

Yeah, it's strange for your mother's boyfriend of a few months to show up at your place randomly without calling or anything lol.

I don't think Isaiah and Portia ever really had a falling out over Curtis being the dad. He was disappointed, but they didn't fight over it and were fine after a few scenes. It was very anti-climactic, except Isaiah was in a towel lol.

-- I don't find it believable that Portia's pregnancy has had so little impact on Isaiah. He's a young guy. Has he not thought at all about having kids who are his? Is raising another man's baby that easy?

-- Maybe Isaiah shouldn't have visited Trina out of the blue, but Trina is the ridiculous one in my eyes. She thinks Portia and Isaiah breaking up solves anything?

-- I'd enjoy the political story more if it was rooted in even the slightest but of reality.

No governor would turn over the appointment of a Congress member to a mayor.

Laura mentioned "the next 4 years" when all but idiots know that Congress is a 2-year term, and this seat would be up for election again this November.

Now that I'm getting into the Maxie of it all...can I just say that Bradford Anderson is doing such a great job in his scenes with Kristen Storm after Maxie woke up...I mean the look in his eyes. I was woooow...a man in love. From Spin of all people. No gimmicks. No hint of wacky at all. A strong stillness. If that makes sense.

Hehe. Go 'head, BLQ read Lulu!!!

Yeah, I don't get the lack of conflict between Portia/Isaiah. He wasn't even mad. Although I have my suspicions he is actually the father. Someone, maybe @Vee ?, said we will probably find out Stella changed the results or something down the line and that wouldn't shock me.

I agree Trina is being a little extra about the whole thing and is far too invested. On the other hand, Portia is being a bit flippant about it all. Acting like this sort of thing happens. Twice. To a person all the time.

Why didn't Laura at least call Alexis to give her the heads up? That was rude lol.

I don't think Bradford or Spinelli have been wacky for years. Spinelli has matured into a responsible adult. They are one of the few couples on the show that evolved overtime instead of staying stagnant and making the same mistakes over and over.

Lol! What a boring episode. No one even has comments.

It was decent, I thought. We got movement and groundwork laid on Marco/Lucas, Portia/Trina, and Nathan/Lulu.

I was frustrated to see Maxie act as if she could just tell Sidwell to leave Deception. Is she that clueless?

And Laura continues to frustrate the hell out of me. I dislike her so much right now. She's sanctimonious while enabling criminals. She's pious while going along with the worst people she knows.

Overall I agree with you. I do think Bradford can still find those quirky moments, but for the most part yes, he has not been too off-the-wall in ages. And I agree that he has matured...and it was great that PM was around to shelter that and Maxie into a mature version of their pairing. But I think for me, the scene that I mentioned was truly the first time I saw him in a romantic lead position and felt it. There was something that Spinelli was showing (and Bradford was really emoting) that resonated with me. It caught me by surprise. I always knew Spin loves Maxie. But it's nice to have a moment where it was just showing, not telling. If that makes sense.

And yep...that was Vee. I hope not. But I wouldn't be surprised.

I am sure the show is out of whack with preemptions, but it felt like a filler, mid week episode to me. It wasn't awful. I was just bored.

Fair enough. Spixie spent so long as a 'quirky' pairing, then were forgotten, and now finally have some depth. It's a shame they made Spinelli so ridiculous when Bradford was front and center because he is clearly capable of playing layers.

THIS. You said it better than me. That was what that scene was giving me. From him? I swoon. And I don't think I've ever swoon when it's come to Spinelli though I like their pairing.

A little boring 😂

But I have to say that GH is still the best soap of 2026, so far

Agreed.

And I honestly am behind because I've been otherwise engaged this week. I have two soaps to catch up on (plus some classic eps of various).
