Ohh the last 15 min was so good today, with Alexis calling Wiley and confirming the truth about Willow being the shooter and then Olivia pulling the shotgun on Drew and Martin's weasel butt quickly leaving LOL.

Drew has done so many horrible things I forgot about Ned. I'm glad there was some kind of response, and that Olivia went back to her old mob moll days (I would say back to her Bensonhurst days, but I can't see Lois toting guns). And that it was Edward's gun (with Tracy then giving it to her).

It's nice that the Quartermaines are now robust enough to have two different factions, and they don't feel incomplete if they aren't interacting. Their mutual enemy in Drew helps, even if, as others have said, I wish there were some who might have been more on his side (before he went completely off the rails), to add more family conflict. If he is ever semi-redeemed and they bring anyone else in, like Justus or relatives of Justus, that could work (I know some have suggested this before).

Tracy already knowing it was Martin so fast makes me think there won't be much payback for him, which is a shame, because if they are going to keep MEK around the character really needs to pay for what he did twice now, to Tracy of all people.

Agreed, that GH has been firing on all cylinders lately. I even enjoyed Cody and Molly.

Drew and Martin vs. The Quartermaines was the best part of today. Jane Elliott was totally in her element. And so was Lisa LoCicero, actually. Hopefully, there are many more confrontations to come. And Drew did look hot at the beginning 😍😂😂

Btw, does the success of Heated Rivalry mean that we’re going to be seeing Yuri more often? 😉😂😂

It's days like this you regret that the Quartermaines are one of the few rich families on soaps without their own underground secret rooms. That's where Martin should be.

When it comes to nuance I would focus more on the things Drew has lost, like a sort of wistful reconnection with Jake who probably wouldn't be able to stomach him either atm but remembers how much he adored him growing up and how they were intensely close, which shames Drew a bit, or Drew reflecting on how he once considered Danny his son as well and is now actively terrorizing him daily. And Drew's love for Sam, where I don't think either ever fully recovered from leaving him any more than Kelly Monaco did. Her life with Jason was never the same after that. It's from examining that stuff (or looking at if Willow is kind of a subconscious replacement for Kim and his forgotten youth, etc.) that you can find something more in the character, even if he remains a distinct sh!theel.

Hahahahahahaha!!! Probably not.

If anything I would think it would shine a light on other soap gay couples.

Willow's face says it all....

Hehe. She might not like it, but I sure don't mind. I was happy that thanks to the flashback we got Drew out of that jacket to see the...uh...back. hehe.

REALLLLLY loving the show right now.

I'm so hoping that Willow gets completely off (and can't be tried again due to double jeopardy) and then see what she does next. It will be so much fun for Drew to see that he got played.

The writers really gave us some great stuff with the Drew shooting S/L. The story lost so much momentum when they basically inserted the Ronnie nothingburger, but, I gotta say since the trial start, we've had numerous excellent and compelling scenes - Portia and Willow's scenes on the stand were riveting

Since they've made Drew absolutely relentless in his jerkness, perhaps Drew return to just a cad, instead of a royal pain, happens after he discovers/remembers that Willow shot him.

CM deserves a lot of credit for absolutely playing this to the hilt - especially against some of those sanctimonious hypocritical characters. And, damn, if he isn't approaching 57(!) with that kind body.

It doesn't surprise me about his body. Cameron has always kept in shape. I respect him that much more after seeing the director's cut of 54 which he shot right before or after becoming a star at AMC, where he plays gay in a small role and IIRC has a kiss with his character's boyfriend. (That was all cut by the Weinsteins at Miramax BITD) Amusingly Neve Campbell's role was based on Karen Lynn Gorney from AMC.

Anyway what was I talking about? I should say that if only they'd had the visiting Ronnie be privy to some element of the shooting by being an accidental nearby witness, that could've been something to play. As it was the whole story stopped dead to use Erika Slezak, and while I love Erika and she did good work it was not necessary for that material to be as weak as it was.

Cody is being wasted on the z-level plot with Molly. They should pair him with one of the veteran ladies on the show, like Tracy, Felicia, or even Alexis. It would make for much more interesting story.
