Good-bye Jeremy. Good-bye Michael Roark.
And I gotta say, what a waste.
I really don't understand the thought process here or what people BTS at Days are doing. Why would you write out, not only a legacy character that's practically a blank slate, but a character and (very handsome and talented) actor that's clearly well liked by the fanbase, and who has good chemistry with his scene partners? And also start a storyline for him on his way out? I don't get it. At all. There are plenty of characters who could've been cut before Jeremy. Hell, even some characters that I like could've been cut before Jeremy. Do any of y'all have an idea or any kind of speculation? Because I don't.
You can't even say that this is related to the wayyyy too huge gap from tape date to air date because Days has known for years how much the fanbase prefers Hortons and legacy characters, in general. This has to be another choice, and a very, very stupid one, at that. Maybe it is time for some people BTS to be sent packing. Hopefully, we'll be seeing Jeremy again soon. Or that Dishin Days or Michael Fairman or somebody interviews Michael Roark.
In the mean time, today was another mixed bag. Stephanie realizing so quickly that Jeremy was the one who got Joy to come back to Salem was a good confrontation, but I would much rather it had played out for a few months more. It definitely would've been better if Stephanie had found out what Jeremy had done right when she made the decision to leave Alex and give Jeremy another chance. She then could've turned to another man.
And I appreciate that Jeremy's last scenes were with Julie. I like how she comforted him and I'm really gonna miss their relationship.
Kristen and Sophia were just a waste of time, once again. But I am a little interested in seeing what happens with Johnny tomorrow. He and Chanel are basically the only thing that makes this storyline somewhat watchable. Carson's acting at the end though... ๐๐๐
Hopefully, something good happens as a result of all this.
