I'm glad she got to as I know some producers tend to get mad if actors want to direct.

Since Mansi did direct, I think it puts the lie to those who say Frank V doesn't like her and would like to get rid of her.

So what you're saying is that, in Trump's America, her record is almost too clean to be elected to public office.

Yes.

I think the question is/was less whether he disliked her and more whether he was throwing in the towel due to her stories all tanking.

Bye bye Dalton. Unfortunately this is going to fall on Sonny though, when for once he didn’t kill anyone.

I thought Daniel Goddard did a great job in those scenes with Joss. He might be the rare villain this show got rid of too soon, because it feels like he had great potential as a character we'd love to hate.

Liking Mansi is not the issue. The character has flopped and it is clear FV has downgraded her after making a hard, hard push for Kristina in her most unwatchable state. Or what @DRW50 said.

I have to say that I was honestly surprised by the exit this week.

With spoilers and casting news, it is tough to pull off an honest shocker, and this shooting actually made gasp out loud.  I would bet many of you would enjoy it, if you watch it more regularly, I know that has been my experience this month.

I've only been solidly watching the show for the first time the past few months. I was familiar with parts of the show and some of the character just from being a soap fan. I do have to say that I am enjoying GH more than any other shows right now. Sure, it has flaws but it seems to move along fairly well, and most of all, the eye-candy. Damn, there are so many cute men on this show. Nathan and Michael are at the top of my list. :)

Congratulations, Laura! You're still a lousy Mayor though 😂😂😂

GH really needs to keep the WSB honeypot away from Emma, and especially from Gio. If they want to put the two of them in a triangle with someone, it should definitely be with Trina.

And, while I don't like Sidwell or this storyline that much, that was a really good ending. I didn't see it coming either.

This show is really trundling along BTW. When is someone going to show up to slit Beastmaster's throat or crack the whip on metrosexual Sidwell? (BTW, openly presenting this cheery bon vivant as casually bisexual would at least be something vaguely diverting.) At least kill Brennan by year's end. I'm bored.

One down...

The Dalton story reeks of 10 rewrites.

Yes it does!! And neglect! They let it drop so long and so often it doesn’t really have much meaning beyond another recurring character killed off.

I kind of agree. I don’t want Emma to be SA’d, but he was a creepy professor perv at first, and we could have higher stakes if they let him be a scumbag for longer. Even to add more suspects, like Gio punched his lights out for grabbing Emma innapropriately. Or even better, she punches him, then Gio does too. He had the potential to be fun for a bit longer. I always love it when they do a shooting in the snow on this show lol.

That's funny, I totally didn't think about the possibility that they'll pin this on someone else.  I assumed they'd just roll him into the water.  Obviously, I would not make an ideal hitman.

I hope it's not Laura.

After the slap it does feel inevitable - being arrested and thrown out right after her big win.
