Please do not saddle Andre with Ashley. The last few episodes say to me that Derek even deserves better. That Jan is a voice of reason. That Ashley is a complete mess. She needs to be alone.

-- Only 20 minutes in, but already enjoying Dani & Andre. Lots of chemistry there.

-- Ashley is absolutely insufferable. We should be raking Derek over the coals for his deception, but she's so awful we're siding WITH him. She's a liar and she did far worse to Derek than he did to her.

-- Diego is in even better shape than he was when the show premiered. Dayum. And anyone who says the guy isn't good looking and hot is blind. "He's no Patrick Swayze" is a ridiculous comparison in any event.

-- Vanessa continues to be a whore.

TBH I don't even think what Derek did was that bad, he had good intentions but her? She only got with him cause she thought he was dying 

Ashley got her face cracked. Andre shut her down in a nice way, but nonetheless he was clear. The fact that she was so quick to text him after finding out the truth about Derek goes to show she was never that serious about Derek.

Jen Jacobs proved that she has some chops but Ashley needs a complete reset.

I'd like to see her maybe in a story regarding the hospital or maybe she's strapped for cash and becomes the lastest Fairmont Crest escort.

The character of Ashley seems overwhelmingly disliked but I think Jen Jacobs is doing a pretty good job playing her. Pretty good with the emotional scenes.

It does feel like there has been some resets and tweaks going on in the last few weeks since the departure of Guza as co-headwriter.

Naomi legit got on my tv screen and had a conversation with her best friend about how to steal her mother's husband respectfully...SMH. She had the nerve to get angry at Jacob for keeping Derek's secret from her yet she listens to Dani bearing her heart to her and doesnt warn her that her hoe friend wants to take her man

Crazy to hear in the They Almost Were thread that BC was almost a love interest for Hilary on Y&R shortly before she was killed off.

-- Naomi was obnoxious. Like Ashley, she immediately erupted at Derek and stormed off, telling Jacob that Derek wouldn't be staying the night at their place. She is as insufferable as Ashley.

-- We keep hearing that Ashley bathed and helped Derek at every turn. That's nice, but how did he get to Uptown???

-- Golden Corral Casino Mobster Joey is now some father figure to Izaiah. I get making connections, but I'm sick of this shlt. I'm sick of Joey either controlling Black people or having a hold on them or leading them around. I'm sick of the idea that these Black characters wouldn't be who they are without this lameass slimy mob boss. I really think it's a misfire from this show.

-- The dialogue between Izaiah and Joey veered very closely into "Let's have Joey act all young and hip and with it." Another mistake.

No wonder why Naomi and Ashley are such good friends; they're both so douchy 😂😂

And that's too bad because in the first few months, Naomi was my favorite Dupree grandchild but now I'm not so sure.

And, Andre did look hot at the beginning, but I still think they need to free him from both of his women.

Yeah, I may be anti-Ashley, but Jen has been doing some good acting the last few days.
