Is it true that all five of the original Horton off-spring were on the show at the same time around 1971?  If so, I would enjoy watching those episodes.

Yes they were all there in 1971.  Not sure if that is when this photo was taken.

Thank you for responding! And I LOVE that photo!   Did all five of them have storylines during that period?  Or were some just visiting briefly?  I remember all five of the original siblings.  But do not remember them being on-screen together.

60 YEARS OF "DAYS"...ONLY 2 EPISODES EVER FEATURED ALL 5 HORTON CHILDREN...

Addie left in 1966 before Tommy showed up in 1967. Addie returned on 4/19/71. However Marie was only in 3 more episodes in 1971 and then not back until 5/9/73.  But all 5 characters were in the 5/3/71 episode and during Marie's Christmas visit on 12/23/71. Marie's return on 5/9/73 marked Tommy's last episode until 1975, after Addie had died.

So, throughout the 60-year history of Days, there were only 2 episodes ever to feature all 5 Horton children in the same episode, 5/3/71 and 12/23/71. Tom and Alice were also in both of these episodes.

1385...5/3/71:
Cast: Tom, Alice, Mickey, Bill, Marie, Tommy, Addie.
Sets: Horton Kitchen, Horton Living Room, Four Partial/Limbo Sets (for Tom's 4 phone calls to Mickey/Bill/Tommy/Marie).

1545...12/23/71:
Cast: Tom, Alice, Mickey, Bill, Laura, Marie, Tommy, Addie, Sandy, Mike.
Sets: Horton Living Room & Hallway, Tom's Study, Horton Kitchen.

My mind is blown that Tom and Alice only shared two episodes with all five of their children. And only in 1971, of all periods in Days history.

Request: the first times, if any, that Shawn, Caroline, Roman (as played by Drake, Wayne, and Josh), Kimberly, Kayla and Bo were all in the same episode.

It only took me a few minutes to check on the Hortons due to those airdates listed above of people not being around at the same time. I think the Bradys would take a bit longer to check on.

The earliest it could have been was 1986, starting with the debut of Mary Beth Evans in the role of Kayla. But if it wasn't 1986-1987, before Bo left, the next qualifying year would be 1990.

I understand. No rush/not a priority.

I see that Maggie and Sarah were not screwing around today.

I like seeing Maggie and Xander go head to head with Tony again. She can actually hold her own pretty well with him. Tony did raise a lot of good points to Xander as well, but I'm glad that Xander didn't fall for it. Hopefully, we'll see them all battling it out in court soon.

I also enjoyed Sarah's showdown with Sophia, and that this storyline is finally getting some real movement. Keeping Sarah as a part of this storyline was the right move, especially since she used her own history to comfort Sophia today. And I did see a little improvement with Rachel Boyd. Not a lot lol but some. And it looks like we were right about Tesoro, which was definitely the right move, storywise. This opens up so many story opportunities for all of these characters, which I hope are played out to the fullest extent. And the last thing we needed was another altered DNA test. I'm really looking forward to what happens next. Btw, where the hell is Amy?

And poor Ari lol Marissa Reyes did a good job with her sadness over Holly leaving. I'm glad that it looks like Days is going to keep her/Ari around.

And, I'm glad that Ari gave Tate a reality check too. But I still say that Leo Howard has to work on his angry acting though.

I think Boyd does slightly better with more seasoned actors.  I feel like sometimes Howard and Puzemis don't even know how to react to Boyd's wide eyed "acting".  LG, despite some of her acting tics, can handle and react better to RB's skill level lol.

Is Holly really leaving?  Or will she be back?

Anyhow, are JJ and Theo the same age or is Theo younger?  I think he's Claire, Tripp, and Ciara's generation so slightly younger, but it's weird JJ was romancing Gabi and Theo might be paired with her daughter lol.

I mean, technically, pre-SORAS of both roles, Theo is "older" by one year (Theo was introduced in 2003, while JJ was introduced in 2004). But now it appears JJ is older (retconned from 2004 to 1995) than Theo (2003 retconned to 1999).

Well tbf, JJ has always had a fondness for older women 😂😂😂

Marissa Reyes continues to impress. I could easily feel her emotions as she was saying goodbye to Holly. Not to mention, their friendship seems so genuine already. Pretty good for actors that have only worked together a few months. I do think it's funny that whenever Ari is talking to or about 95% of the cast, she can throw out how she's related to them.

Chanel and Johnny trying to figure out who is ruining their life was played way too light-hearted for me. Where's the fury? The desperation? They were acting like they were just trying to figure out what to watch on Netflix.

However, the Sophia/Sarah scenes were must see. I think Rachel Boyd is at her best, for whatever that's worth, when Sophia is more human. The only other time she did well (for her), was when she had her traumatic birth. Linsey Godfrey has a been constant standout, and with these scenes, she really measured her performance brilliantly. I also couldn't be happier that Tate is not the father. He's not even 10 years old in real time, balance that with Brady's rapid ageing, and it would just be a mess.

As for Tesoro, when all is said and done, I think Aaron and Mark will probably just take him and leave Salem for good.

This whole baby Tesoro storyline was a huge massive waste of time. If all the writers wanted was to create some short term drama with Holly and Tate, then they shouldn't have even bothered with this story. If Sophia was going to be pregnant with Tate's baby, then they need to see the whole thing through. If she was going to pretend the baby was Tate's, then that should've been obvious from the beginning. There should've been a scene where Aaron and Sophia slept together on the same night that Sophia and Tate were together so it would've been more ambiguous.

Once this story is over, what's even next for Tate? What's he going to do that's actually going to be relevant and interesting other than to be lovey-dovey with Holly? He really has nothing going for him at this point. Honestly the writers need to cut their losses with Tate and have him go back to California to be with Theresa and Kim for a while and wait a few years to recast with an actual age appropriate actor. Move Holly on with someone else. And with Aaron possibly gone sooner or later, now would be a great time to bring on Holly's brother Parker for Arianna and Noah for Holly.

It’s a real logic hurdle for me to accept that Aaron wouldn’t have told Tate he also slept with Sofia.

The Salem High 2025 graduation and the merger storyline felt more like a burden than a payoff for the writers, and this episode played like a soft reset. Between Dimera being casually handed back to Tony and Sophia no longer being a virgin when she slept with Tate, the vibe was very “Forget what you’ve seen.” Honestly, they could’ve titled the episode that.

It reminded me of that moment when Obi-Wan uses a Jedi mind trick on the stormtrooper: “These aren’t the droids you’re looking for.” That’s the energy—just wave away continuity and hope the audience follows.

Anyway, moving on...

My only quibble was Maggie's costuming.  The Chanel-ish jacket and denim was cute when she was picking up Holly from the hospital.  But, for the confrontation with Tony, I wish Maggie was given a power suit.

PS, does this mean Mr. Shin, and the rest of the board of directors, are also no longer cannon?  Because although they needed government approval for the merger.  The dissolve of the merger seemed to happen without regard for shareholders.

PSS, If EJ paid for the hospital with his part of the capitol from the merger, plus Gwen's investiment, wouldn't Tony need that money to buy Dimera back? The math isn't mathing, but again, I'm OK with moving on.

The Aaron being the father theory has been around for months (if that's indeed the case).  The way Madeline Kientz played the scene as Sophia I could almost believe she was lying about her virginity.  MK didn't act like it was a big deal for Sophia at all.

As for Aaron-he had a lot of personal things going on.  If Sophia told him there's no way he's the father, I could see him easily believing it as he had so many other things to deal with.   In regard to telling Tate, Idk, he's a teenager.   If he didn't think he and Sophia were going anywhere I can understand not telling Tate just to avoid drama and conflict because Tate was back with Holly.  I don't think it's crazy or unbelievable that he wouldn't mention it especially since everything basically worked out.  Holly/Tate got back together and the baby was "adopted".
