It's just awful writing, and it's the reason most of the posts here aren't about the show but about a Thriller video the cast put together.

 

Her passion for what she does comes through in her work; the fashion on this soap has never been better. She knows her actors and how to dress them to perfection. I love it.

So the big reveal and Friday cliffhanger is that Roger Howarth is …. Dun dun dun… MATT CLARK! I will admit I actually was kind of surprised. I wasn’t expecting it to be a recast or an older character at all. I guess this drama will play out for a while and Noah is somehow involved with him and his nightclub. 

Kyle needs to stop simping over Claire. She’s currently getting d*cked down in an L.A hotel room with Holden. It’s over. Go get Audra and make Claire jealous with her. 

I was just happy to not have any Cane or Phyllis drama today. This episode was actually kind of enjoyable which is few and far between. The Halloween party at the night club with actual PEOPLE dancing and having a good time also made it feel more real. 

 

So Jack's talking about all of Jabot's files being moved to another hard drive. Josh Griffith never heard of the cloud, apparently.

Another month where 90% of the show was hot garbage. Who knows what November will be like.

Total missed opportunity for Sharon to clutch her pearls at Claire’s drinking and act overprotective in that moment because of what just happened with Noah & wanting to make sure she has a ride home. Something along those lines would have added to the scene but I know a little consistency would be asking too much. The episode overall was more watchable than anything from the past couple weeks though other than the last 10 seconds (Matt Clark reveal).

Isn't Roger Howarth a lot younger than the actor who previously played Matt Clark?  Does anyone know the how many year apart they are in age?  And how long ago was Matt on Y&R?  I've been watching for years and years, and he was long gone before I started watching. But I do remember seeing photos of the actor in soap history books.  Can anyone give me a brief synopsis of Matt's history on the show?  Matt seems like a rather obscure character to bring back.  But perhaps I'm wrong about that.

They're bringing HIM back? Well, that's one more reason not to start watching Y&R again.

He's known Nick and Sharon since high school. He raped Sharon and I think some other characters, too. He later FAKED raping Sharon. Of course, Sharon ended up pregnant and Nick thought Matt had to be the father. She lost the baby and it was proved he wasn't, causing a big marital rift between them.

And now Howarth is going to play him? Ick.
