Vern, why use the stairs when there is an elevator in your living room? Maybe he wants the exercise?

I would have liked to see Leslie spitting out a few feathers from Anita's sleeve detail after the slap.

How is it a hint? What she used a fake name when she banged him and had his kid? He didn’t recognize her in the pictures during the montage Andre put together for the concert? Like come on.

I'm thinking he could have had a one night stand and not even known it was Barbara. We'll see. They have been dropping hints about Vernon never being capable of cheating and Eva could never be a Dupree. They could be red herrings though. What I like about the show is you can go back to prior dialogue and find Easter eggs you had no idea were important (like Leslie mentioning brownies to Martin).

Anita bitch slapping Silk Press Sheila was giving me Queen Stephanie feels.

Go on Anita with your grande dame diva/messy matriarch self.

Anita... karma is calling and her name is Silk Press Sheila.

When I watch Silk Press Sheila, I realize that there are times that she reminds me of Gina of Santa Barbara fame (MVJ got her start in soaps at Santa Barbara)... and I think having SPS be to the Duprees what Gina was to the Capwells is delish.

It's also been nice getting a break from Dani.  Her domineering/controlling ways stifled Chelsea.... look at her wardrobe for today.

The continuation of Leslie and Anita's confrontation was good. The actresses were amazing today, and the writing elevated them. I must say that I sided more with Anita here. Great to see some of the Chicago Project come to life.  I agree it was reminiscent of many of the great daytime feuds. I cheered when Ms. Anita slapped Leslie, it was earned from the moment to came in the door.  So looking forward to more. Not shocked at all by Ron C. being the writer, this is his wheelhouse.

Now for the rest of the episode... I am just not into these other stories right now. I agree that things were pretty boring. Andre looked good, though.

BUT I meant in references to the Who's SilkPress's Daddy theories. People are mentioning anvils in dialogue and such leading to them thinking Vernon. But that can be just as true for Dante which have also been true. Yeah, last week proved that the writers are good at foreshadowing in plain sight where the story is going re: Eva's cover story. It's why I keep pointing it out. And that was Week 2.

I'm surprised anyone is even saying that when we have a scene on air that revealed that Vernon never knew Barbara...and if I'm not mistaken...that scene has been reposted on the thread. If I am wrong, it's very easy to find...there's one poster on Twitter who is producing all the 'Dante is the daddy' receipts just in case.

Exactly. Same as Eva's cover story.

Same. And bonus...rival family. But again, I fully am expecting Kat/Chels's Dante is either going to be the one and only Dante or somehow related to THE Dante.

. The last few weeks have built to this moment and they delivered.

Hopefully, she doesn't have much else going on.

Happy we are seeing more of Shanice. I don't mind having a balance of both sides of her, the professional and nosy.

Agreed on TT and TMG. Wonderful screen partners.
