-- An exact replica of the original Shadow Room is ridiculous (especially with what's been going on with Noah) but I'll take it.
-- Since Josh Griffith gave an interview and said that Matt Clark is absolutely redeemable, it wouldn't surprise me to see Matt running the place in 6 months 😂
-- I personally don't think Matt Clark is redeemable, but the awful Josh Griffith is writing this show, so there you have it. I knew he was enamored with Roger Howarth.
-- I won't be surprised if the jazz club set gets dumped, but I actually like that set. I don't think it's tacky at all.
--Cane's train is much diminished from the set we saw when it was introduced. We're not getting any of the larger train areas.
-- Billy and Sally are better than Sominex. My God.

I remember that era of Neighbours but not the character.
I'm glad they are naming a character after Tristan Rogers, but I wish they were casting lesser-known actors instead of Geyer or Jonathan Bennett who just aren't getting work in primetime anymore. Not that that's new.
I also enjoyed the 16K video. Nice to see Kristina and Lynn together. And a (somewhat) deep ABBA cut.

That's funny, since in December blake would be naming her daughter after her novel character. Clarissa was based on Holly, in GL tradition the child is named after someone.
Any reason for Beth naming her daughter (with Alan) Peyton? Indianapolis Colts fans? Also, was a reason given for Jude Bauer. It seemed like GL always needed "reasons" for names.

I remember that era of Neighbours but not a great deal about his character.
Classy of them to name his character after Tristan Rogers.
I do think the show should be trying to find some lesser-known talent instead of trying to find guys who just can't get work in primetime anymore.
I appreciate the ABBA deep cut (sort of deep cut) for their 16K video. And seeing Lynn and Kristina together.

I agree! I don't understand why the levels can't be there either.
In a way, it's like how I felt THE CITY lacked a multi-generational element at the start. Yeah, you could build a show around characters who all are of the same age group or socioeconomic class, but just imagine how much more (and much better) storylines you could get if you were to broaden the canvas somewhat and try and reflect more of society.
