I'm glad Donna shut down discussion of Madeline.

I'm glad, too. On the one hand, the role got her an Emmy; but on the other hand, it was a terrible role for any actor to play.

The only critique I have is that both of the interviewers tend to interrupt instead of just letting the guest lead the conversation.

I loved Jackee basically calling Connie Ford (Ada AW) a bitch LOL

I always enjoy the clips that I see on Instagram, but I do get frustrated with the fact that the people who have such ready access to so many important people don't really know much about the soap genre/history outside their own experiences because LIAMST should have been a major part of the conversation with Donna. If they ever interview Clifton Davis, sure they can talk about his career in music, but I also expect a soap podcast to ask him what it was like to be a young black actor in daytime on "A World Apart" over 50 years ago, working with Susan Sarandon, and being part of a storyline that was controversial for the time.

I agree. I realize having staffs are cost-prohibitive for podcasts, but just imagine how much more insightful that conversation might have been, had they had one or two people to do some research before the episode and formulate the questions/talking points FOR the hosts. Instead, it seems like Greg and Rebecca are handling those duties themselves; and let me just say for the record: actors aren't always the sharpest knives in the drawer, okay, lol?

Someday, I fear, we'll get a podcast starring Joshua Morrow; and every episode basically will consist of him, maybe a co-host and whoever's the guest that week just standing around a keg (with red plastic cups in their hands, of course) and shooting the [!@#$%^&*]. And that's when I will surrender my internet service and live off the grid forever.
