The show is sooo in the need for some younger, fresh characters not bogged down in decades of history and has-nots trying to improve their lot in life. Right now, practically everyone is "super rich and successful." Where's the conflict in that?

Regardless of why/how, this is currently a live event, so there's going to be live reporting.

Yrah of course this warrants a special report.  It's just interesting and a little bit frustrating that breaking news seems to occur during soap hours and rarely during primetime, mornings ir early evenings.

I don't mind interruptions what pisses me OFF this most is them blathering on and on and on. Literally recapping what they told us over and over. As someone said they milk it to death. Like report it then go back to regular programming

Victor hugging Abby today was the first time I can remember seeing him interact or acknowledge she even exists in I dunno a year? 6 months?

Basically something relevant and NOT something that can be saved for the 4, 5, AND 6 o clock news. Or a news channel. Same.

Tbf...I think Victor saw Abby after her and Devon got back from their honeymoon so...6 months ago? hehe.

 

Don't get me started! lol. I'm saving Monday's episode until I make it through John's Death Week on DAYS. And post rewatching BTG. Probably some GH, too. And RHOM. It is THAT low on my viewing.

So Nikki doesn't want to sell Chancellor because she can't do that to Katherine.

Just how long does she expect to be in charge there? She's 90 and Victor is 100, yet they're both acting like they have decades of work in front of them.

Nikki should be organizing fundraisers and planning galas and telling the cooks and wait staff what to do -- not running a company. Does anyone really believe Nikki is business world material?

And yeah, I realize we have no idea what Chancellor Industries does anyway.

The worst part of today was multiple characters mentioning Cane pretending to be a Chancellor and then he had a scene with Chance his would be son during the con that looks the exact same age as him. Are we to believe Cane now a faked a random Chancellor since they’re saying he’s a new character?

The only way to get through this is to take that "new character" label and run through it. We cannot make any reference or connection to the past, or it all falls apart.

I do think Billy Flynn and Christel Kahlil are strong enough to make this work. Do I trust Josh Griffith to write that good story for them? Of course not.

They do have chemistry but I despise how much I have to turn my brain off and ignore shi.t for an actor I really like, to work in a role he’s completely miscast for.

Seeing Connor Floyd onscreen again and gearing how Rory Gibson is bringing it at GH is a reminder how Y&R chose to squander their new young leading men (including Zach Tinker)  in favor of the vets.

I'm surprised Micheal Mealor survived.

This show is physically painful to watch as a fan of the genre and a person with eyes.
 

I thought I’d check out some of the fallout from the reveal of Cane as Aristotle Dumas. Big mistake. First of all what is this France set? A bunch small tables surrounded by fake tall bushes?

But here’s what got me: We cut from an allegedly restless Lily (Khristel, let’s work on this whole “acting” thing) in bed flashing back to a conversation with Cane where they are…sitting at a table arguing with each other.

And with that? I’m out. Not that I was ever in but Jesus Christ, was there a sale on small cafe tables or something? What happened to blocking? This is the laziest show on television.

That outdoor set is getting a workout. Can someone explain the chandeliers?

You would think they might turn on a fan to give some evidence they are supposed to be outside.

Does the #1 soap have any sort of a budget?
