But Kat didn't have any idea what the jacket was when she tried it on.    During episode #63 (Friday U.S.) they were sorting through the boxes of clothing donations from the church.  Kat commented that people should donate nice things, so that the recipients have nice things to wear.  Kat picked up various articles of clothing and looked at them. Kat saw the jacket and tried it on, and said "classic leather jacket!" and spun around modeling it for Nicole and Mona, saying "this would make anyone's day!", meaning that it was a nice thing that was donated.  Then she put her hands in the pockets, not looking for anything... and then her hands felt the receipts inside the pockets, and looked at them.  Then Kat realized it was probably the villainous motorcycle driver's jacket.

Today was good! Sharon I felt was appropriately bitter but I like that they didn't make her the bad guy. You can tell Anita feels bad about what she did and she's going to have to own that. I hope they continue to allow Sharon a perspective without villainizing her. One thing I found interesting is that she works in the church choir similar to Leslie...could that be her daughter?

Another big positive for me were the scenes with Martin and both of his parents. Those are relationships they haven't developed as much as they should have and they're important. I feel like Martin is at his most likeable outside of his scenes with Smitty (likely due to his secret). I hope they continue to focus on these relationships prior to the reveal.

The Leslie story continues to be a highlight as well. I love that you cannot make that woman sweat. I am so used to villains scrambling when they're about to get caught but she seems so confident that she won't be. I'm very curious how she's going to wiggle out of this one.

I don’t think so as she tried the jacket on when she just thought it was a random donation. Had she not tried it on, she wouldn’t have put her hands in the pockets and retrieved the receipts which tied Leslie to this. All of this was a lucky coincidence. Kat didn’t know she was messing with the evidence

This is what kills me about the complaints that the show is moving too slow. I don't think any of the other soaps has revealed as much as BTG has in the same time frame. Not only are stories moving but it's rotating as well. Y&R has been teasing that Dumas character since February with no reveal in sight. B&B was one day for the majority of May with very limited storylines. GH had a strong final week of May but the storylines had been dragging for months prior to that.

I appreciate that BTG doesn't focus so much on recapping and keeps the stories moving. I have anticipation about certain ones like Martin and Anita's secrets but I'm not worried about it because the writers have proven they will keep these stories moving at a strong pace.

Completely agree with you. I think Bonita Brisker has been really good as Sharon. What Anita did was obviously awful, so she doesn't need to reign anything in. We're getting a good look at someone who's struggled in life compared to Anita "We're the Duprees!" Williams.

-- Anita is starting to look foolish for dredging all this up just so she  can get her ass back on stage. Is she so delusional she doesn't realize how she hurt Sharon and Tracy?

-- Anita's line to Vernon "How can I expect Sharon to forgive me when I haven't forgiven myself" struck me as really selfish. After all that with Sharon, Anita again made it all about herself.

-- Does anyone really believe Anita wants equal billing if the Articulettes reunite?

-- Colby Muhammad continues to be a standout. Her Kat more than holds her own with Leslie.

-- The writing was very good for the father/daughter scene between Ted and Eva. It wasn't so good between Ted and Martin in their father/son scene. It didn't play like family to me, especially when Ted referred to "my wife" when talking about Nicole to Martin.

-- Overall, a very solid show today.

    • I'm furious that hack new producer is bringing back the wrong Ben Mitchell. Just bring back Harry Reid for goodness sake. Pleased about Zoe.
    • I've said it before, and I'll say it again (and again): CBS should have extended Angela Lansbury the courtesy of going out on HER terms, not theirs.  The network, Universal and Corymore all should've sat down together before the start of the last season and discussed how to ensure that MSW would go out with a bang.  Leave it on Sunday nights, of course, but really pull out some stops: big name guest stars (Frank Sinatra and Elizabeth Taylor immediately spring to mind), more on-location/international shoots, maybe convince Peter S. Fischer and William Link to return as consultants, you name it.  But give her and the show the dignity they were due. I do, too, but that's why I love her so much.  She had every right to call him and the rest of the network out, but didn't, because she was simply too classy to do that.  God bless her.
    • Its not right or safe but I notice I dont always lock my doors either   BTW, I only see that happening in Dani's house, and I assume her kids have the key.  Othr than that we've seen Dani just walk into Bill's house but that's been an actual plotpoint

And I’d love to see that beautiful smile a lot more There’s just one problem… that should’ve been sent packing with Uncle Ron
    • Yet another reason some of the characters need servants.  Since some of the sets do not include front doors, servants could answer the off-screen door and escort guests into the living room(s).
    • I remember them showing a map of Michigan during one of Rachel's adventures, and you are probably correct here.  But the map may have been used in 1978, when Sven kidnapped Rachel and characters were searching for her. They had no idea Sven had hidden her right there on the Cory estate.  So that's just another possible sighting of the infamous map.
    • The one thing that drives me nuts about this show is that all these wealthy people never lock their doors and everyone just walks in without even knocking.  I live out in the boonies with no neighbors close by, but I always have my doors locked day or night!
