Sonny looking down at the floor today and for a few episodes is worse.  LW at least brings energy and Steve seems engaged.

I would cut Mo at this point.  The love fests with Laura and on and on with everyone.  Just go find Brenda off screen and beg for her forgiveness.  THX, BYE!

And also, I like how it's brand new info Mo was good at his job in the 90's.  That's pretty much the entire reason he's still on the show.

With my luck Frank would probably bring Lily back from the dead and pay Lilly Melgar to do a cameo with Sonny instead though.

Seriously, I know I am late to the party, but why are Sonny and Laura bff?  They've always been friends or friendly although I never considered them to be super-duper close.  I always thought Laura mostly tolerated him for Luke's sake.  The way the show is pretending they've had this decades long tight knit friendship is just weird and OTT.

Yes; plus, it's supposedly the home of the trauma Alexis experienced when they were in that storyline, etc., a.k.a., another recycled and redressed set.

Wouldn't surprise me, especially since Melgar did the "GH Live!" episodes and those weird-ahh outros we got. Although, given that Melgar has been more aligned with the views of ex-Jax, part of me feels like she wouldn't be asked back. 

Probably because of Luke, and if Laura accepts Sonny, then the audience automatically will, too. I mean, because she does means you do, right?! Right?!

I do not buy that. I mean, I didn't go by Laura for years to be somehow accepting of rapist Luke. Why now would I go by her about our favorite narcissist Sonny? I wouldn't. Laura has never exhibited what you might call good judgment when it comes to people. I mean, she hasn't, you know?!!!

Think of Esme!!!!

Technically it was the 2000s.

Oh, I didn't know that about Melgar.  She's not a GH alum I particularly follow obviously lol.  I remember she had a brief period of relevance when she did that web soap and people were saying she was a good actress.  Not on GH lol, but that's for the classic thread.

It's just too much of a friendship. They can be pals or co-grandparents or whatever, but Laura should not like Sonny THAT much.  And who in life blathers on about how much they enjoy one another's friendship for multiple days/episodes?  Lol.

The part of the audience that likes Sonny (myself included) should know Sonny sucks and just accept it.  He's an awful human and I hate him 90% of the time but I like him 10% more than anyone on this board lol.  I don't need Laura or anyone in town to prop him up to me and I doubt people that dislike Sonny would be convinced to like him just because Laura apparently has horrible taste in friends and husbands, but I digress.

      Much like I always say Tanisha Harper is very pretty, so was Lilly Melgar.  Very pretty lol. She wore very cute slip dresses that young carolineg adored lol.  She's probably not even a bad actress. Lily (the character) had 0 charisma and when you are working with 90's Mo and Vanessa, and, uh...Ricky Martin you need some spark.  People can have friends of all ages and I am not age shaming Anna or Finola, but Jason/Sonny are your daughter's friends.  My mother isn't friends with my friends or at least doesn't actively hang out with them lol. Yeah, I don't really care if Emma has scenes with Sonny.  I am just waiting for her to bust out the "Uncle Sonny" nickname.

      Oh see, I remember now. Thank you; I do recall those scenes standing out in my head! Plus, the all-too-underutilised Chaunteé Schuler as Bonnie. That was a surprising, yet good, recast.

      So whats the alternative, everyone be demure and have no negative qualities? There are tons o characters and none o this describes most o them. The show has a wide range of characters. Some good, some bad and some a bit of both. Its a BLACK soap opera. We need black villians that cause trouble and move the stories along

      I highly doubt it. I recall Tunie's scenes being limited to a hotel room with Bonnie. By that time both Bonnie and Jessica had been severely diminished on the canvas.

      I think her friendships with Jason and Sonny stem from Robin's loyalty to them, but to me, that isn't enough for them to be friends. Anna is a grown-ass adult, and she can make her own decisions; that'd be like saying Robin needs to be friendly with anyone in Anna's life due to her loyalty to them. And I don't believe so. And I hope they never do.

      After playing Lily Rivera with the personality of a wet dishrag, the bar was low for Melgar lol. Anna/Sonny is even stranger to me.  Sure, he helped Robin out a lot 30 years ago, but Anna and Sonny don't have any real history.  Anna can tolerate both Sonny/Jason for her daughter's sake.  She does not need to be friendly with either.  Anna's character has taken a real hit with all the Valentin things as well. Have Emma and Sonny interacted yet?  I can't remember.

      OLD P&G ACTORS? Where is this coming from? In case you've forgotten, which would be hard to do because of TIDE and Febreze P&G is one of the sponsors of this new soap we love!!! Also Lindstrom never worked on a P&G soap. Cady, of course, did, but that's because she has worked for everyone!!!  Who else? TTunie? You don't want her around because of Jessica on ATWT? Agree to disagree if so!!! And, KaMo just because she was on GL? I cannot go there with you. Sorry. Not sorry!

      Oh yes, The Bay, haha. She was... decent? Trust me... I hate the friendship, and the same goes with Anna/Sonny, which is why I adored when Patrick Mulcahey came in and said, "This isn't happening anymore!" And it felt amazing to me!
