Now hold up one minute!!! After all these years of asking for it, venting for it, beating drums over it, are you telling me we as the audience got what we have been wanting and FINALLY getting a serial killer to cut off this over-bloated cast. Cuz...WOOOOW.

But seriously, I got used to Dex in spite of me saying that I wouldn't. And I felt he had potential during PM's run in the spring. And yes, he could get it...perferably with his dog tags. But I AM surprised.

But it DOES make me think about that post that I made that with Lulu and Lucky back and Michael leaving, he have plenty of characters in that age range with more interesting history to play with while some legacy characters could be rested for a bit.

IKR.

Well Joss might become more manageable for you now though.

LMAO!!!! SHADE.

I think what's interesting here is who leaks their firing and who doesn't.

In California, there's no legal reason a person couldn't leak it on their social media.  Thus, one could conclude that they withheld the spoiler because they wanted to maintain relationships in the hopes of future employment (not with GH, but with the network). As we see more actors leave, it will be intriguing to note how many leak the news on their own behalf.

Also, I agree with the majority that it is amusing that they didn't even give poor Dex a hospital gown, rather than gently folding his blanket directly under his nipples.

This guy sucked from day one, both the acting and the character. So many 180s going on behind the scenes! If there was a character that Sonny should have killed, it was Dex. Instead, they go through all these machinations to make sure Sonny doesn't kill him, and they force Mulcahey to try and write for him. Fast forward to 9 months later, and Dex is killed off with hardly an afterthought, in such a lame way, it's more laughable than shocking!

What goes on behind the scenes is definitely more interesting than what goes on on-screen. The writers should try to mine the BTS stuff for some entertaining inspiration
