Today was mostly a Body&Soul day, but surprisingly, it wasn’t bad. I’m guessing it wasn’t a Jamey episode 😂😂😂

Not exactly sure how they got Patrika Darbo back after that gross ass Craig storyline. I understand that a paycheck is a paycheck but… goddamn. But it’s still nice to see her. But I’m also not really sure about her trying to get Joy on Body&Soul.

And nice to see you again, Joy! It’s been a long time lol too soon to judge about her acting.

I don’t really mind Johnny or Chanel cheating but this was all so forced and contrived and poorly written and it didn’t need to be. This all could have happened much more organically and for a much better reason than Johnny suddenly being dumb and jealous. Chanel miscarrying their baby, perhaps? 

The Justin/Alex was kinda random but it was nice to see them bonding as father and son. Sonny is still Justin’s No. 1 son though 😂😂😂

This Johnny/Chanel crap is so stupid. If he cheats on her when he’s had zero proof of any sort of affair, I hope she permanently leaves him. 

Johnny seems to be experiencing stress-induced paranoid hallucinations, and nobody (including his psychiatrist grandmother with a crazy twin sister) seems to notice.

I guess we're not supposed to think that Johnny is mentally ill, but it would seem to be the only explanation for his visions and his illogical suspicions. 

I mean, the signs are all there.  His hair is unkempt.  He has begun drinking in excess.  He is isolating from his wife.  A more talented writer might have used those symptoms as clues to a larger story.  But, I think this is just an ordinary love triangle.

I agree -- I don't see any mental illness, just a character written as a complete moron.

I do have to laugh at the music used in the DAYS club/lounge scenes. It's so bad -- always sounds like music lifted from bad porn.

I'm not suggesting that they are actually writing him as mentally ill.  I just mean that given his most recent symptoms after suppressing the trauma of his wife's miscarriage, one might question his sanity. 😎😉

And rather than going the predicable triangle route, it might have been a bit more interesting, given his family history of mental illness. (his maternal Great-Aunt Samantha, his paternal half-aunt Kristen, etc…)

BTW - you can tell that I'm bored with an episode when I overthink it, looking for more intriguing angles.
